overnight construction project moving out of our way. it is looking great. >> weather won't impact anything on the roads r may be battling some sun glare this afternoon, overall, pleasant day shaping up. temperatures cooler though. dealing with the highs, closer to average, talking but ear's, so hey that's not bad for the middle of november. we will take t yesterday, i mean, it was warm, that's typical late september, early october weather, high of 70 officially at philadelphia international airport airport. upper 60s in wilmington, atlantic city, trenton, and even up in the lehigh valley in allentown. so we won't see that today. but like i said overall pleasant afternoon with the sunshine around. it is cool this morning, allentown 39 degrees, with clear skies, 44 in red willing, near 50, wilmington and philadelphia, then gets cooler in the outer suburbs, certainly jacket sweater wet they are morning, and then, slow progress with the temperatures, we climb through the 50's over the next several hours. northeast winds, though, look at the arrow coming out of the northeast, that means cooler push of air. that's why we're knocking the temperatures back close to average today. still, storm scan3, quiet.

just some left over high clouds from the weak front that came through yesterday. and eventually we go mostly sunny throughout the entire day today. we check out the school day forecast, overall giving it an a minus, because of the sunshine, just little cooler, chilly at 8:00. talking upper 40's, then up ear's by the time kids coming home from school at 3:00. forecast hi, again, couple of degrees above average at 58 degrees, sunshine, mid 50's at the shore, poconos, little chilly today. talking about highs only in the four's, even with the sun. however, those six of zero's are returning to our forecast over the next few days along with some rain. we break it down for you coming up in a few more minute. let's hit the roads with meisha, a good morning. >> good morning, justin, good morning to all of you at home. just waking up with us on this kind of dark and nice tuesday morning, tuesdays are sometimes tough like a monday, things looking pretty good on the roadways, boulevard headlights in the southbound direction at fox street, looking great here. i will keep my eye on the boulevard. we're seeing the boulevard, moving in the southbound direction towards the schuylkill in another area kind of heating up little bit right now.

i'll keep my eye on that. looking at 59 southbound, coming around the s curve looking good again when looked at this ten minute ago weren't seeing volume levels quite as much. kind of indicator as we push through the 5:00 hour, especially toward the 6:00 we will be heating up on 95, in fact, looking at girard little bit ago it was heating up. 309 northbound at the turnpike looking good here, in fact, looking a little bit slow moving on 309, which is good news, for those of in you and around the area. we have construction in king of prussia. gulph road northbound between guthrie road and freedom drive one lane is blocked in this area. another area of construction in new jersey route 55 northbound at route 49, the left lane blocked until 3:00 p.m. erika, over to you. >> meisha, thank you. france is striking back again after last friday's terrorist attacks in paris. it is launched new round every air strikes similar to those on sunday night against isis-controlled area in syria. french president, francois hollande, calling for stronger international coordination against isis. he also wants to extend france's state of emergency.

he met this morning with secretary every state john kerry. kerry said isis with not go unpunished, pledged to work with france. >> we have to step up our efforts to hit them in the core. we are planning these things. and also, obviously, to do more on boarders in terms of the movement of people. >> president obama has landed in manila for the a peck summit. the lead verse condemned the paris attacks which they say called for united voice in the global community. >> meanwhile, governors across the us are threatening to stop plans to allow syrian refugees into their state. after one of the attackers apparently posed as a refugee to get into europe. new jersey governor, chris christie, opposes allowing any syrian refugees into the country. how much, both pennsylvania governor tom wolf and delaware governor jack markell, they both say that they would welcome and support the refugees. immigration experts say under the refugee act of 1980 governors cannot legally block

refugees from settling into their communities. expert news coverage, focusing on violence in paris, parents and teachers, they're struggling to explain it to those who were too young to understanded. watch's jill wagner up at the new york stock exchange, jill, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, erika, unexpected rallies started the week here in wall street. markets shook off, would have long-term economic impact. the dow jumped 238 points yesterday, the nasdaq jumped 57. energy and defense stocks are trading higher, but travel stocks, like airlines, hotels, cruise lines, with front in europe, those saw big price drop, three presser in some cases. women, new york state judge deny restraining order requested by fantasy sports operators, draft kings and fan dual. they want to block the state attorney general from shutting them down. eric sneiderman said the games are illegal gambling, draft kings and fan dual, they say, they are games of skill, not luck. and mcdonald's is scrapping its dollar menus, starting in january, the fast-food chain is testing new value menu, called mc pick two, two items for two bucks, including mc

y- france launching new strikes against outposts in sewer y meanwhile secretary of state john kerry met with french president francois hollande this morning in paris l meet with president obama next week. in response to friday's attack in paris, septa just one every philadelphia's agencies shoring up security. in addition to septa, security has been tightened at the sports complex and throughout the city. and, russian officials say the crash of the passenger plane in egypt was the result of a terrorist act. officials told russian president, vladmeere putin today, that homemade explosive device blew up the plane late last month. all 224 people on board that plane were killed in the crash. >> in your health watch this morning, mississippi volunteer firefighter is recipient of the most extense of facial transplant in history.

take a take a look here, picture on the far left is 41 year old patrick hardson before he was severely burned in a 2001 fire. he underwent more than 70 reconstructive surgeries. on the far right there, his new face. it belonged to 26 year old man who died in july. the transplant covers his entire head and much of his neck. it was performed at new york hospital. rather, university. the donor's family says he's always dreamed of being a firefighter. and, here is a story for all of us early risers, new research finds people who drink moderate amounts of coffee lower their risk of death and cardiovascular disease, type two diabetes, and neurological diseases, moderate drinking is defined as less than five cups a day. american heart association study found it didn't matter if the coffee was caffeinated, or decaff, the health benefit is notust the caffeine but something in the coffee beans themselves. all right. >> want to get our forecast in a moment, but first check this out.

some strong winds battering the ocean front in coronad owe, california near san diego. dangerous swells and gale warnings, made it a tough day and night, for boaters from san matteo point down to the mexican border about 80-mile stretch along the pacific ocean. wind gusts reached 35 miles an hour. forecasters say the conditions will improve later on today, so good news for folks out west. seems for us, though, our conditions have worsened from yesterday. hard to beat 70 degrees, right, justin? >> really depends how you look at it, some people like the cooler temperatures, so little something for everyone over this past 24 hours, but today like you said close to average, talking 50's, but overall still pleasant day with some sunshine. let's check in with weather watchers this morning, again, it is cool, seeing some 40's, even some 30's, out in south jersey right now in the pinelands. mark, typical cold spot. clear skies, coming in at 39 degrees, this hour, little milder, just outside of philadelphia, little farther to the north and west, jerry checking in with 42 degrees in king of prussia. and also, back in new jersey, little bit miler, in

chesterfield, ed connor checks in with 43, clear skies, he sends message in here, cool, calm, no frost or due on cars. justin, thanks for great job in the a.m. no problem. any time. thanks for watching. and we have an of weather watchers, always hard to show everybody, but his is sure way to get mentioned. just butter up the meteorologist, flattery can get you everywhere, i'm telling you, thanks, ed, for sending your reports in every morning, can always rely on you. today again, seasonable temperatures, what's ahead, cooler temperatures in the 50's tomorrow. mostly cloudy skies, milder, bring back some 60s. thursday some rain returns, could be steady rain at times, talking about amount anywhere from half inch or so across most of the region. highs yesterday, look at that, 07 degrees. it is a front that came through the north yesterday evening. and it is bringing change in winds direction, so that's why we now have this cooler flow off the ocean, so highs today generally up ear's, maybe 60 in some of the warmer spots. storm scan3, quiet, high pressure still over us, just left over clouds from the front.
