6:01 am
no rain. >> no, no. i mean, we are quiet. that's good news at least for the road conditions. can't blame it on the weather today. yes, cold, though, that's the story, not used to this cold, this first time, real had i to deal with some harsh windchills this morning. it feels more like the teens and 20's right now. these are the actual air temperatures. again, 34 at the airport in philadelphia, then below freezing a lot of the suburbs, to the north and west, and south jersey. now, that's happened a lot so far this fall season. but really haven't had some strong winds to deal with in the morning hours. so, though sustained winds coming in at 15 miles per hour in some spots, so when you factor in the wind, it does feel a lot colder. there go, northwest wind ushering in the colder air, 12 miles per hour in philly, ten in wilmington, that's fast enough. to bring the win chill values down into the mid and lower 20's, depending on where you are. so it is rough this morning. going out for the morning bike ride, that jog, you are going to have to battle that wind, put on that cold weather gear. storm is scan three quiet. we do see lake effect snow showers in win pennsylvania,

put out the vehicle fire. again this was head on collision. you do have crews out, there you have people out on foot. all lanes in the southbound direction still blocked because of this accident. you can see, this was a major accident indeed. in fact, spreading the debris all the way for quite a while with the vehicles spread out throughout all lanes. so again there is will probably take little bit of of time to clean up. use that alternate, like i said, just remember, that all lanes are block in the southbound direction of 29a now, for live look outside, this is the schuylkill, headlight moving in the eastbound direction, at the conshohocken curve. this is one of the busier areas this morning. the conshohocken curve usually is, i would say, right around the 6:00 hour, but this is particularly busy. i will tell you, it is busy on the schuylkill now. ben franklin bridge coming westbound, looking fairly good, although starting to see volume levels build just little bit. car fire northeast extension southbound between lehigh valley and quakertown, all lanes are open but they are saying that we have heavy reports of congestion in the area. so, certainly, give yourself couple of extra minutes this morning. busy indeed, erika, over to

6:06 am
>> sounds great. >> the engine doesn't work. i mean, looks great from the outside. but they can't get it out of the driveway. yet chip kelly has taken little if any blame for the way his team has played. >> i don't think we are talking about -- we didn't play well as a football team, and there is no excuse for that. >> why not? >> i don't know exactly why not. but i know we didn't make plays when we had to make plays. i don't have an explanation for it, but i know we weren't ready to play on defense. and we got to get that straightened out because we have a short week this week, getting ready to play thursday at 12:30. >> on top of the terrible play was a mini blow up between sanchez and darren sproles following this pick six in the fourth quarter. sproles and sanchez had words about what was supposed to occur on that play. but this sums up the season on one play, bad efforts, bad execution, two frustrated players. now is not the time to unravel, but at least there is some passion. so again, it all comes down to chip kelly taking ownership of this team. at this point i have yet to hear him say this one's on me. >> right.
