♪ it's 11:00 o'clock and the san bernardino massacre is now terror investigation. the announce many made official by the fbi and tonight new details emerge about the female attacker including posts she made on social media before the mass shooting. good evening everyone, i'm ukee washington. >> hi everyone i'm jessica dean. we're following all the new developments tonight. the fbi is now calling the san bernardino massacre an act of terrorism. the fbi director also says

there's no evidence married killers see he'd farook and tashfeen malik are part of a terror network. she 11 allegiance to isis near the time of the attack. meanwhile today we got a look inside their home. the same home where the couple kept bombs and scores of ammunition. >> "eyewitness news" reporter david spunt is live in the sat center with new information on the investigation and reaction from the suspect's family. david? >> jessica, fbi now running the show in san bernardino after the news came out that tashfeen malik pledged her support to isis using facebook. that's just a small piece of new information coming out of southern california tonight. >> to me it sealed like a bomb went off. >> patrick, just left the room to use the restroom moments before authorities say tashfeen malik and her husband walked in and started shooting. he shared a cubicle with farook. >> i would try to reach out and talk to him. and i wouldn't get a response. >> he was a very isolated

introverted individual with really no friends that we can identify. >> farook family attorney says the shooting left family members in shock. we don't know much about tashfeen malik she was pakistan and married farook two years ago. >> we are going through a very large volume of electronic evidence. this is electronic evidence these killers tried to destroy and tried to conceal from us. >> according to law enforcement sources malik used an alias and pledged her allegiance to isis leader just before the attack. a law enforcement analyst told "eyewitness news" the post likely didn't raise an immediate red flag because it was under a different name and posted just moments before the couple opened fire. officials have no evidence. the attack was directed by isis leaders. and they don't believe the couple was part of a terror network. we're now learning more about the 14 victims that died in the shooting. earlier today, governor tom wolf confirm york county native harry bowman lost his life. he left for california more than

15 years ago. meanwhile family, friends and survivors of the attack continue to mourn and process what happ happen. >> to do what he did for preparation you can't grab a gun off a shelf and run in there and start blasting people. >> reporter: the couple left behind a little girl just six months old. authorities say an unnamed person bought some of the guns used during the attack. that person has not been charged though officials have said it's possible more people will be charged in this case. reporting live in the sat center tonight, david spunt cbs3 "eyewitness news". >> david, tonight we are going inside the apartment of the massacre suspects. fbi finish its investigation there and released the apartment back to the landlords. they let the media inside. there was food on the counter as well as a crib and children's books. farook and malik had a year lease the rent was $1,200 a month. one of the land lords says the couple gave him no problems at all. >> usually the neighbors if there's any problem neighbor let

"eyewitness news" reporter natasha brown is live with more on the investigation and also the pictures police want you to see. natasha? >> reporter: jessica, police have now released four vivid

images of two suspects thought to be connected to this thanksgiving day murder and several robberies all happening in the port richmond area. >> it's a very quiet neighborhood. usually don't hear things like that going on around here. >> reporter: this quiet neighborhood in port richmond has been rocked by the murder of a 21-year-old man. >> it's shocking. i mean it's very quite blue collar neighborhood, and, you know, like -- there's crime anywhere in the city but any time you hear somebody getting their life taken it's really shock to your system. >> reporter: ryan kelly was shot and killed on thanksgiving morning as he made his way home in the 3500 block of almond street. the shaling happened at 5am. these images are of two suspects police believe committed the crime. >> don't know if this was an tempted robbery or not, but at this point it seems hike he was approached and shot by these males. >> reporter: suspects are also linked to several gun point robberies in the port richmond area. there of they're seen trying to use a stolen debit card on the day the murder took place. >> they're armed and dangerous. the fact that they committed a

number of robberies, they're armed, they commit add homicide. >> rest in peace, ryan. i was very upset about it because i only live around the corner. >> this woman is on her nightly walk. vigilant but refusing to be afraid in her own neighborhood. >> i had my phone but i'm ready. i'm ready for them. i'm not afraid. see, i'm not afraid. not at all. because i don't want -- nobody is going to make me afraid. >> reporter: well police have recovered a white car thought to have been involved in the robberies and homicide. meantime there is $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. we're live at police headquarters tonight, natasha brown cbs3 "eyewitness news". >> thank you natasha. a man an woman are behind bars accused of impersonating philadelphia police and robbing people on the street. police arrested 48-year-old terrence gentleman bobby and kelly rowan wednesday. they say the pair committed two separate robberies last weekend

one at fourth and jackson streets. the other on the 1600 block of east passyunk. in both cases he allegedly displayed a fake badge. bucks county medical schoolteacher under arrest tonight. he's accused of of having an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old student. joseph becker was arraigned in warrington today. the 30-year-old is a math teacher at penn ridge north. authorities say the girl's parents notified them yesterday after their daughter told them she and becker had been sending explicit sexual videos and pictures to one another. becker is charged with sexual abuse of children. tonight hollywood is remembering oscar nominated actor robert low shack you know him for his rolls in scar face and edge and officer and a gentleman. he was a staten island native. he died in his home in los angeles. after a five year battle with alzheimer's disease. robert loggia was 85 years old. police found cocaine in the

bedroom of the tour bus where former stone temple pilot front man scott while land was found dead. he was in minnesota on tour with his new band and official cause of death has not been revealed but he had a troubled past an history of drug abuse. he was 48 years old. a mother and her ailing daughter are getting a big gift and a fresh start for christmas in ridley township. >> it's all thanks to a caring police officer who worked to get them off the street and into a new home. corporal jason mcdevitt mobilized the community to help eleanor garrett and her daughter jennifer after he found them living at a shopping center. growing medical bills led them to be evicted from their apartment for unpaid rent. gifting and donations poured in from nearly 100 people guaranteeing them a home not just for christmas but for months to come. >> here we got you some water and gatorade just some search needs that you guys might be able to use for just to get back on your feet here. >> this is one major miracle. because i never thought anything

night chapter is beginning for a landmark hotel down the shore. the golden inn in avalon has been sold to chester based i cona resorts and they have plans to transform it into a luxury resort with a complete renovation and expansion. it will include a 300 person wedding venue an beach bar and pool. i cona plans to invest more than $10 million. >> 155 new rooms. brand new fitness spa. brand new culinary experience. this is going to be a destination year round. >> the golden inn will remain open through renovations with the grand opening expected by july of next year. the search for a head football coach at rutgers university continues with one very unique candidate in the mix. rutgers sophomore ben applied for the position on a dare and now he's getting a lot of support from fellow students on campus. ben submitted hess resume and senior associate athletic director wrote back saying he would have his vote if he had a

take quick look how things are looking outside. take you out to our b bridge camera looking live towards the city. clear night. no problem out there the bridge looks quite this evening. but if you're out and about late you definitely need to bundle up. storm scan3 is clear. locally but as we zoom out across the nation i do want to show you just how remark cably quiet it is. pretty much everywhere as we look live across the region. not a whole got log on. big ridge in the jet stream warmer air pushing around the western side of the high. little bit of snow in the mountains and storm comes on shore this weekend for the most part it's a very quiet pattern for this time of the year. temperatures across the area right now in our live neighborhood network 31 in medford at the medford memorial school. dover air force base at 39. down to 33 in hammonton. close to freezing as well in the lehigh valley at liberty high school in bethlehem. as weed when through the weekend high pressure overhead. that means not a lot of wind for your saturday. so it's really sunny and nice day with light winds temperatures a couple degrees above average. sunday is your warmest day of the forecast period.

that's the high moves to the east we get that return flow. temperatures head into the upper 50s we can make a run for 60 on sunday with all that sunshine around. monday a few more clouds but still above average as temperatures push into the mid 50s once again. so we're checking all our boxes here this weekend. lots of sunshine, wall to wall sun. all across the board this weekend. above average highs and light winds that's about all you need for perfect december weekend a lot of parades and fess festivals holiday events this weekend. if you're heading out to any of these the weather will certainly cooperate. wear the cute winter clothes you don't have to wrap yourself in fleece and down and gloves and hats and all of that. overnight clear skies, chilly, 36 degrees will be the overnight low. your saturday sunny, light winds, not much better than this for the time of year. 53 degrees for your saturday. if you are doing some decorating this weekend, we did it at our house last weekend a glad we got it out of the way no excuse not to be out there. you do end have to worry about slipping on icy patches, any strong winds of course be careful if you're on the latter
