temperatures surge well into the 60s challenging record highs possibly even breaking a few records this weekend. got a lot to get to. let's get right to it. we'll take you outside. experiencing a beautiful night in philadelphia. skies are generally partly cloudy but with more cloud cover with winds out of the south, temperatures a lot warmer tonight than they have been for the past few nights. past couple nights in fact saturday night into sunday morning we were down to freezi freezing. monday morning down to about 31 degrees. last night and the night before in the 30s as well. overnight tonight, a big difference outside and here's a look how today was in cape may courthouse beautiful time lapse showing the sun early in the day then high clouds started to filter in through the course of the afternoon. it did turn out a little cloudier in the afternoon all across the area. then it was in the morning and that will be the case for tomorrow. clouds, giving way to little bit of sunshine as well. not the sunny yesterday day we've ever seen that's okay because it's nice and warm. temperatures almost 15 degrees above average for tomorrow.
2:25 am
now we're watching this front moving through central pennsylvania. not quite as impressive as what it looks like on the radar but a few sprinkles could hold together if they move threw our area they'll come through early tomorrow morning probably around three, four, 5am so can't rule out a stray sprinkle. not a huge deal. the bigger story is the warmth take look at these temperatures still in the 50s across the area right now. 52 in philadelphia. 50 in trenton. 53 in millville. little bit cooler to the west sitting at 47 in lancaster but keep in mind our normal high temperature for today's date is 47. we're 5 degrees above that number even right now at 11:18 at night. an indication of how far these temptemps are skewed above avere and look at this from this time last night, huge temperature departures. it's 25 degrees warmer right now in millville than it was at this time last night. 22 degrees warmer than last night in allentown. and 13 degrees warmer right now than at this time yesterday in philadelphia. so another day in the red. take a look at december so far. every day has been above avera average. we're going to be adding at
