elementary school say they are keeping children home. >> they claim school is unsafe after a second grader brought several hypodermic needles to class. "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco spoke with the concerned parents and a student who says that he saw it happen. >> reporter: second grade student at this elementary school were exposed to a hypodermic needle on tuesday by another student who brought the the needle to class and now parents want answers. >> she was actually trying to make a game out of it. and, my thing is, it could have hiv, hepp tight c, it could be a methadone needle. >> reporter: cristina marshall found her her seven year-old son christian witnessed the incident when the principal called. >> he was nervous because he immediately thought that he would be in trouble for not telling. >> reporter: christian says he saw another student in his class, pull four needles out of the backpack and hand three to other students. >> i saw the needles. he was like this will keep you away from me.

>> reporter: school district say they are lag into the matter and it is if in the clear if the student was chasing others or students were stabbing themselves with the needles, but after getting check at the hospital no marks were found on any of the students. police became aware of the incident when one child handed the needles to the teachers that they reported getting stabbed in the back. the the school district says this was the letter sent home to the parents of the students involved, and it dated the day before the a alleged incident. this is all under investigation by the school district and philadelphia police, some of the parents we spoke to say they won't feel comfortable, allowing their child back to class, until the incident has been resolved. in north philadelphia, i'm diana rocco for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". investigation is underway after this four alarm fire destroyed the the camden county auto body shop. that fire broke out on the 34 hundred block of haddonfield road in pennsauken last night. chopper three over that scene and smoke and flames burned out of control. crews battled the blaze for about two hearst before blaze
