bills-eagles kick off 1:00. 59 degrees, september football weather record high, 69 degrees, today 72 for philadelphia, 68 at the shore, 60 even up in the poconos, and that's not god news for the skiers and riders, i'll let you know if you do any cool, and rain, coming up in a few minutes. >> justin, thank you. new this morning, philadelphia police are investigating a stabbing at a manayunk night club. it happened just before 1:00 a.m. at the mad river baron the 4100 block of main street. police say a person was stabbed on the street outside of that bar. now the victim was taken to roxborough hospital and is now list in the stable condition. police shoot and kill a gunman in east strads berg after he walks into wal-mart and threatens customers with a assault rifle. cell phone video posted to instagram shows police responding to that incident, this happened last night, just after 10:00. eyewitnesses report that the as all end was armed with assault weapon, several handguns. no customers were injured, in

a statement, straws berg confirm the gunman was shot and kill after he refuels today drop his weapon. very scary. >> investigators release the name of teenager shot and killed in north philadelphia. police found 15 year old xavier stern's body in the back seat after car on the 2400 block of north park avenue friday night. investigators say, the upper darby teen was shot once in the head, blue was no balistic evidence or weapons at that scene. so far no arrest haves been made. alleged undockment immigrant accused of sexually abusing a child in woodbury gloucester county. police arrested juan campos morales friday, they say he assaulted the victim on several occasions, campos native of guatemal a they believe he is living in the u.s.a. illegally. >> warm weather in december soaks fear of climate change for many. president obama is now applauding historic agreement that calls for reducing and then eliminating the use of greenhouse gases. cbs news correspondent brian

web has the details. >> after ten days of talks, nearly 200 countries agree to fight global warming, by limiting greenhouse gas emissions. they pledge to switch from burning oil, colon gas, to clean and renewable energy sources like solar power, for decades to come. >> the agreement demonstrate solidarity, ambitious, flexible, credible, and durable. >> it calls for the global average temperature rise to be held to less than 2 degrees celcius, that's 3.6 degrees fair end height, and even lower if possible. $100 billion will be given from rich countries to poor countries, to help them move away from fossil fuel. >> this agreement recognizes that we are going to have to begin to change the way we power our planet, the way we power things. >> protests popped up under the eiffel tower after the agreement arguing the pact doesn't go far enough.

football game face increased security in the wake of the recent terrorist attacks, several military choppers buzzed over that stadium. on the ground, philadelphia police officers on horseback kept close eye on tailgaters and those attending the pre-game show. fortunately, no major incidents were reported. well, a college football classic wrapped up the 2015 season right here in philadelphia. and the army navy game, it didn't disappoint. the two teams meeting for the 116th time, long standing tradition, of course, army hoping to break navy's 13 game winning streak. going into the third quarter army held slim three-point lead. that's when keenan reynolds, tillman over the middle, tillman taking the ball into enemy territory for six points, midshipmen went onto win their 14th straight over army, the final score here, 21 to 17. >> you know, we get to go to the white house this year, get a trophy back, i mean, that was number one goal, for us, you know, not going to the conference championship, but

philadelphia. temperatures stap start to drop monday, tuesday, still well above average, still talking 60s for highs, then by the end of the week, getting closer to average by next weekend, overall still another warm week ahead for the middle of december. so, record warmth. records high 65, setback in 1923, for today, our forecast hi, 72 degrees. so we can crush that. even tomorrow, our record high of 69. here's our forecast at 67. so we will get close. so even monday, with clouds, showers, it is still warm. and here's why we're dealing with these warm temperatures. tim i cannily in the summertime, you get the set up. high pressure, just off the coast of the mid-atlantic, call it the bermuda high. clockwise flow. so southwest winds flow, between cold front and this high. so a lot of warm air in place across the southeast, and mid-atlantic. cool start to our morning, but still, not bad for early december. fifty in swedesboro, dover, delaware, 52, thicker fog, millville 49 degrees, around philadelphia, similar numbers, low and mid 50's, and gets little colder to the north and west, look at that berks county lehigh valley mid

four's, but mount pocono right now at 56 degrees. so you can see, not even close to being able to make snow up into the resort. some clouds streaming in from the west. that's our next storm system impact us later today during the day, cold front will bring some showers. until then just dry, warm, partly sunny skies. so here is the set up. that front moves real slowly, warmfront to the far north, allowing the warmer air to continue to push on in. tomorrow, the first half of the day, stays dry, just clouds thickening up. we will get some of the showers in here looks like late monday afternoon into the evening hours, may impact the evening commute. then once this front passes, we dry out for tuesday, back to some sunshine, but doesn't really bring in a loft cold air. highs on tuesday, still going to be around 60 degrees. so heading through time, again, model spreads kinds of all over the place, generally about quarter of an inch maybe up to half inch of rain potentially from tomorrow evening's system. so through today, partly sunny skies, dry warm afternoon. then tomorrow morning, once again, some fog, clouds, to start during the day, clouds thicken up throughout the afternoon. here come the showers.

especially during the evening hours. some of those could be heavy in some spot. we'll start to tape off during the overnight. another warm day today, this model showing upper six's to around 70 for the high, wouldn't be surprised some spots reach the low 70s. this evening, still mild, 8:00 temperatures, 50's to around 06 degrees. into tomorrow, still, 60s for afternoon highs. here's the trends. jet stream to the north. a lot of warm air, continues to pom innocent across the mid-atlantic. it stays warm through the middle of the week. talking about highs in the 60s, finally, by the end of the week into the weekend here is a shot of some cooler air moving in from canada. that should bring the temperatures back down to average. nothing terribly cold. report warmth today. seventy-two, tonight, partly cloudy, 54 the low. here is the extended forecast, rain tomorrow evening, once again, thursday, but look at the highs this week. fifty's and 60s, finally by next weekends talking highs in the mid 40's, nicole, back to you. >> thanks, it is now 7:18. let's check in with ann evans in the traffic center. good morning, ann. >> busy shopping day, busy day for errands, with the holidays

purchasing health insurance. but, if you don't have coverage next year, expect to take a big hit at tax time. consumer reporter jim donovan explains. >> until the fourth week of open enrollment almost 395,000 people selected insurance plans using the healthcare dot gov website totalling over 2 million plan selections since november 1st. but the deadline is fast approaching. >> if you want coverage for january 1, you have to sign up for health insurance coverage by december 15th or you will not have coverage. >> if you have purchased insurance through the federal marketplace, it is important to update your personal information on the healthcare healthcare.gov site each year, even if you are not making any changes to your coverage. >> financial situation changes or your household competency changes, you could be eligible for more or less financial help. so you don't want to take the chance that you have attacks liability at the end of the year. >> finally if you choose not to be covered by health insurance, get ready to pay up

eye state. the des moines register and bloomberg politics pole finds cruz with 31% of likely republican caucus go nerves iowa. trump received just 21%. required neurosurgeon ben carson faded to distant third at 13%. i love you too. hours before a bruising pole showed donald trump losing steam in iowa, he was in south carolina, taking on the epa gun control and his proposal to bar muslims from entering the us. >> we don't want people coming in and knocking down world trade centers and hing what happened last week in california. >> he took aim at ted cruz in iowa, where some polls show the texas senator in first place, and where religious conservatives dominated the republican caucus. >> dow like ted cruz. but not a lot of evangelicals come out of cuba in all fairness. >> but saturday's pole shows iowa evangelicals overwhelmingly backing cruz. the two have played nice throughout the campaign but

washington. >> well, at least one person is recovering this morning, after a car slams into a building in south jersey. this happened at a business at the intersection of marlton pike and berwick street in camden. the victim was hospitalized, no word on their condition. the cause of that crash is still being investigated. well, some incredible video after bmw impaled by huge mental tray. >> this happened in san jose, california. firefighters say the tray flew off the back after truck, and lodged itself right between the two front seat of that vehicle. now, amazingly, it missed the driver, who steered over to the shoulder, and called for help. but just incredible image there. >> well, one star wars fan ponied up $25,000 for this discontinued luke sky walker action figure. just one of them. yep, luke's light saber, toys were pulled from production 20 years ago, still in the original packaging making it pricely to collector, all part of quarter million dollars

night, but just not cold enough to even make snow, need cold dry air mass, just not happening. when we get those days, it is just replaced by warm day with rain. so, delayed start to the ski season up in the resorts, so skiers and riders not liking this forecast. so here is the headlines. record warmth today, potentially even tomorrow too. rain will return to our forecast by the end of the week, we cool it down little built, but still nothing cold. >> well above that high of 72. tomorrow's rod, 69ment we'll get close. upper 60s even with clouds and some showers. waking up this morning you saw the temperatures, generally 40's, 50's, what most of the reporting stations are showing. trenton at 52 degrees, 56 malvern, cooler spots, up in the lehigh valley mid and upper 40's, 46 quakertown, but mount pocono 56 degrees. some clouds rolling on through, mid to high level clouds. not going to produce any rain today. all of the rain still out across the center of the us slow moving cold front, approaches us tomorrow. so we're dry today, dry tonight, even the first half of monday, stays dry.

it is late afternoon evening we start to see some showers return from that front. so the evening commute may be little slower on monday, that front clears us for tuesday, back to some sunshine, and it is really not even cold behind the front. rain chances today, zero, tomorrow, 100% chance, see shower at some point late in the day. tuesday, dry, as well as wednesday, then thursday another system bridges a threat for some showers. >> great day to be outside, hopefully checking out the eagles day. tomorrow morning waking to up fog again, here come the showers, 5:00, 6:00 we start to see the showers moving n could be couple of heavy showers, should come to ends overnight monday so back to dry conditions for tuesday morning's commute. highs today, upper 60s, potentially even the low 70s, depending on how much sunshine we see. evening temperatures still very mild, check it out. 9:00 still mid and up ear's, for the current temps. and then even on monday, we're still in the 60s with the clouds and showers, now, here is the trends.

much time for the holidays. busy shopping day. busy holiday, errand day, as well. so what you are looking at now the schuylkill, the vine street expressway, or the schuylkill south street rather. do you have a lot of volume in this area as you can see. but traffic moving along fine from what volume is there. okay, getting little busier than we are usually on the schuylkill this morning. we're going to move the traffic cam here to i59 at the walt whitman bridge, walt whitman bridge at the top of your screen, i95, right in the middle. again, the highway getting busy but everything moving. the area bridges are in fine shape. in case you're crossing any of them today. and no delays or problems on 42, 55, a.c. expressway or the garden state parkway. onto 202, at allendale road, right by the king of prussia mall. it is, well, seeing actually comings on it already. so, a lot of folks out today. the mall probably is open early. a lot of folks get that shopping done for the holidays. but no delays or problems on 202, so now is a good time to head out shopping.
