12:19 pm
meantime, we can expect the stay dry just watching these cloud start to gradually build and that is simply because our next storm system is on the move. most noteably it will be cold front that crosses through. looking outside at the live neighborhood network a similar view more cloud outside middletown ship high school. the here's why. we have a storm system, very large by the way. we had to zoom storm scan out, so you can see the whole thing. the classic view to this. it has a classic storm center, that comma shape, so it the looks like a candy kane this time of the year to put you in the the festive mood. but it has drawn in some cloud cover in our area and eventually this is cold front that is crossing through. storm center will bypass us off to the north much like many recent storms have done but behind it, this within has more umpf to it. you will see cooler transition was this crosses through. gradual trend down on the day time highs. by the time we get the two weekend not only are we closer to average but you might to have break out a winter coat as opposed to shorts and
12:20 pm
t-shirts like you have had to enjoy as ovulate. let me give you a good sense of timing everything out. you walk out the door, hopefully watch us here on "eyewitness news" in the morning and walk out the door. shouldn't have have anything to track locally just yet. i say you have a window of nine to 11:00. do you see how things get over spread with rain. so through late morning after the typical morning rush has wrapped up is when rain will take over. it looks like it will be pretty heavy at times. the kid are getting out of school, you are heading home from work. p.m. rise will be dicey but then gets out of here. and, it the is, and comes in the second half of the day with rain amounts not terrible over the course of the entire day upward of an inch. we are in the dealing with much more than ponding on the road, not the a flash flooding kind of an event. it will slow you down. the cloud are building for now, and we will drop you down to 47, later on tonight under
12:21 pm
a generally cloudy sky but tranquil and then rain build in for us tomorrow. notice what happens to the thermometer reading, guys. that is the bigger story, remember, it has been above average every day this month so far and finally by the time we will get saturday, hey a below average day. the how about that erika. >> yes. >> hasn't happened just yet. >> i know. >> but look at that by tuesday we are flirting with 60 again. >> at least, i think yesterday we were looking at 40 degrees. >> exactly. >> we have just trimmed it, we have been over achievers in the temperature department. >> so luck think year. >> absolutely. >> yes. >> if you like warm weather. >> time to check your philadelphia jobs market report with cbs the news business analyst jill schlesinger. >> this is time of the year that many people ramp up their charitable giving and why you likely thought about how various none in profits impact the groups that they serve you may never have stopped to think how they impact the larger economy. none in profits accounted for 11.4 million jobs in 2012,
