that later. >> oprah hinted at her new venture when we sat down with her. that's before she announced her five year, $43 million weight watchers deal. it also gave her a 10% stake in the company. oprah's not the only one providing weight loss inspiration for 2016. "people" magazine hit news stands today with its half their size issue. >> these people are really inspiring. not only did they lose half their body weight, they did it in the real way. none of the people had surgery or use nid diet pill. they all just relied on workout and diet. >> we sat down today with two standouts, first, 22-year-old austin shiplet who lost 166 pounds. the student used to eat a double quarter pounder every night before bedtime. >> it worked for me because it's low carb, i think. >> also featured, heather patterson. she used to eat a gallon of ice cream almost every night. >> i started my journey at 267 pounds. i was able to lose 127 pounds and i'm currently at 130 pounds. >> heather focused on portion control and although she didn't rely on weight watchers sheshgs definitely embraced oprah's philosophy. >> that is a reflection of the change you made inside. >> now time to break open our romance report card for 2015. we begin with a love affair that was born out of two surprising breakups. blake and miranda, and gwen and

dress. and it's crazy. >> one of those cases turned dangerous. in september she traveled to get a political prisoner released. >> you must be very worried about her. how do you deal with that? >> it's tricky. she won't let me go with her because she's a grown woman with her own career. but it's tough when they're stabbing people in the head a couple days before she gets there. >> in october the couple adopted the cutest dog ever. and they're building their home even though life keeps them on the road. >> tell me about the situation whether you travel together. is the house three time as big as yours? >> three times? the suitcases are an issue. it's like we have another van for the suitcases. >> but all kidding aside, amal is now helping to go back in her home country by creating a scholarship fund, the amal clooney scholarship so one woman from lebanon can go to college
