arraignment on charges of aggravated indecent assault, in connection with accusations cosby drugged and assaulted a temple employee. >> this is the first time cost bee has been criminally charged in a string of sexual assault allegations. we do have team three coverage for you, we begin with "eyewitness news" reporter greg argos outside montgomery county courthouse with breaking details. greg? >> good afternoon, nicole. right now, the district attorney here in montgomery county releasing those details, and actually charging comedian, bill cosby, with aggravated indecent assault, this all stems from a 2004 alleged incident, against andrea, who at the time was temple university woman's basketball coach. >> we are here to announced to charges that have just been filed against william henry cosby. >> those charges are three count of aggravated indecent assault, felony of the second agree. >> these charges stem from a

sexual assault that took place on an evening in early 2004 at mr. cosby's home in cheltenham township montgomery county. >> according to the criminal complaint filed today in montgomery county, comedian bill cosby and the vick festival of families, woman's basketball coach at temple university, established a friendship. >> the victim came to consider mr. cosby her mentor and her friend. >> but the end battled comedian apparently wanted more offering the victim wine and blue pills during a early 2004 visit at cosby's home in cheltenham, pennsylvania. >> on the evening in question, mr. cosby urged her to take pills, that he provided to her, and to drink wine. the effect of which rendered her unable to move or respond to his advances and he committed aggravated indecent assault upon her. >> now the 78 year old will face a judge this afternoon, arraigned on these felony charges. >> re-opening this case was

live at temple university. cosby has been synonymous with temple over the years, we're getting reaction there. rahel? >> reporter: well, jim, good afternoon. there have been whispers of course for months at montgomery county prosecutors could criminally charge the comedian and today they left no room for doubt. meantime, reaction here at temple university has been mixed, this is of course a very personal issue for many here at temple, cosby, attended temple, for many years the comedian was something of an unofficial face for the school. until recently, cosby also sat on temple's board until he was replaced. today things are largely quiet here on campus, as student are on winter break, but for those who stayed in town, they didn't hold back to this news. >> i mean, look, bill cosby, i think, is very concerned about the black community, i admire that concern, i think he was very inspirational, much after role model. this stuff doesn't take anything away. however, if he did these things, he should be punished

seasonable conditions. we'll get back to it regardless, let's just break everything down. starting off with a good place to start here, storm scan3, nice wide zoom for you. and, don't worry about the snow that you see over the great lakes. not going to affect us. what you want to focus on the rain being drawn in, area of low pressure developing to our south. that's what's going to bring thus next wet weather chance. got some pretty good juice with it right now. very heavy rain currently falling, just outside of raleigh, for example. now moving across the virginia state border, and it is clearly making bee line for us. so, when does it actually get here? going to actually break it down for you coming up. want to look ahead, as well. we mention that bigger pattern change. as we look forward in the computer guidance, we are expecting for one thing seasonable conditions. some colder air to nudge in here. but very quiet beginning to the new year, at least for the first week of january. there is potential. key word potential for larger storm to take place second week of january, obviously still a long way away, starting to see ingredients

maybe available at that point in the atmosphere, second half coming, briefly, we return back to mild air. that's another question mark, but it is a possibility. meanwhile, let's get you through the rest of today, shall we? as we go through the afternoon, see little speckle on the area radar, not enough to really bring any casino of major issues for the evening drive. but at this point it looks like it might be later on tonight. that showers develop, bit more region wide, then see it all clear out of here pretty quickly, it will be a quick moving system. come tomorrow, maybe going to one of those countdown to noon events. by the time we hit noon, looking at basically full sunshine. and in time to ring in the new year, 12:00 a.m. friday, we expect generally clear skies, as well, but cooler conditions, hey at least it is clear as a bell here. can't say the same as go outside in a live neighborhood network. still pretty decent fog settling in here across berks county, no advisories at this point yet in effect. so, all dense fog advisories have been allowed to expire, still got it in spots. watch for. that will you have got a spread going on here too. thirty's, four's, 50's,
