just a spectacular rescue as canadian ski resorts, 75 skiers were trapped on the gondola at the the mountain resort in british columbia when the electricity went out. can you imagine. the must have been terrifying. rescuers strapped skiers in the harnesses, dangled them on ropes and then guided them to safety. others were rescued by helicopter by higher sections of that lift but incredible stuff. here's a sight you do in the see every day a igloo on the median at busy intersection of whacker and columbus in chicago.
