spring side road where that ticket was sold. good afternoon, i'm erika von tiehl. three people that matched all of those numbers for $1.6 billion prize they bought their tickets in florida, tennessee and california. correspondent danielle noting had ham reports from chino hills, california where crowds gathered at the store where that ticket was sold. >> chino hills. >> reporter: chino hills at this 7-eleven sold the winning power ball ticket. >> we heard the news and so we came down here to see, you know, who the the winner was. it is not us. >> reporter: winner has not yet come forward but that didn't stop the celebration. >> maybe next year. report report this morning was back to business as usual. some customers were already buying ticket for saturday's drawing. >> do you think this is now a lucky spot for buying tickets. >> i think so. i know where to go, yeah. >> reporter: owner of the store, also has good reason to celebrate, he takes home a one million-dollar cut.

>> amazing. it feels so good. >> reporter: another winning ticket was sold at a supermarket near orlando and third ticket was sold in tennessee, not far from memphis. each winning ticket is worth almost 529 million-dollar, before taxes. danielle nottingham for cbs news, chino hills, california. >> just so much money. biggest power ball winner in our area is in burlington county at a wawa in west hampton. that ticket is worth two million-dollar. "eyewitness news" reporter greg argos joins us from west hampton with all of the details. one very excited person there i'm sure. greg, good afternoon. >> reporter: good afternoon there, erika. it is $1.5 billion jackpot the but two million-dollar isn't too bad, as well. this is sold right here at this wawa on springfield road in west hampton. if you actually purchased that ticket you are one of new jersey's newest millionaires. the new jersey lottery says someone here matched all five white balls but missed the power ball giving that person

a million dollars prize. but that winner added a multiplier option which doubled it to two million-dollar. if you play here in west hampton, won two, second prize winners in new jersey, another million-dollar ticket sold at 7-eleven in middlesex county. on top of that pennsylvania wasn't left out of the mix, three, one million-dollar tickets were sold in pa including one in kenneth square, one in lancaster and one in bethlehem. back here live, at the wawa you can see a lot of excited folks, people checking their tickets, now it is just waiting game waiting to see if that person comes into this wawa to check their ticket or if they will just wait a few days, get the their financial situation in order and cash it at the lottery office. we are live from burlington county, new jersey, greg argos for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". hey, don't throw those tickets away yet. is there a ticket worth two million-dollar in new jersey. also 11 million-dollar winners in new jersey and pennsylvania. so here are those numbers, one more time, four, eight, 19, 27, 34, and the power ball number is ten.

off here in the city. forty is exactly where we are should be. it is a very typical daytime high. so nothing atypical about this this forecast today but things are going to turn a bit unseasonable moving forward,er contact we talked about the fact we will see milder air moving in and with that comes a new storm. we will have details coming up. >> winter can't help it, katie, thank you. a second sewer main break in two days in mount laurel this noon. chopper three over elbow lane between church street and texas avenue. that is where crews are working honorary pairs. westbound lanes of the elbow lane are being detoured. this comes one day after another, sewer line broke on hartford road. that one has been repaired. customers are being asked to limit water use to help reduce the amount of waist water during these repairs. fbi is investigating the ambush shooting of a philadelphia police officer as an act of terror. this noon we are learning more from police and lawmakers about the case. for us, walt, good afternoon. >> reporter: good afternoon, top law enforcement officials, politicians, everyone speaking out one week after officer jesse hartnett was gunned down in an ambush. that includes james comby the director of the fbi scheduled for a press conference at 3:00 . only cbs-3 cameras were there at penn presbyterian hospital this morning where officer hartnett is recovering from three bullet wound from his arm and the fbi director and police commissioner richard ross both went into the the hospital to pay a ten minute visit to the wounded officer. they even talk after leaving so we don't know what word if any they exchanged with hartnett who remains in the intensive care unit the but comby will be speaking later on this afternoon. it was late last thursday night that the officer was gunned down at 60th and spruce streets in west philadelphia in what police are calling an ambush attack. the suspect in that attack edward arch a's rested allegedly confessing and

saying that it was related to his motives related to the islamic state. that has prompted a lot of controversy, and a lot of investigating in the wake of the shooting, including questions about whether archer had links to anyone else, or whether anyone other a attacks might be planned. fail police doubling up in two man police cars. this morning there were comments on this by the the senator, by pat toomey, and we have those comments which just came in a short time ago. >> it is just appalling a attack is a vivid reminder of the danger that the the men and women who wear the the police uniforms around the country face on a daily basis. radical islamic terrorism are not limited to countries far way. it is not just civil wars that are raging in the middle east or attacks against civilianness paris, beirut, jakarta but attacks against

americans at fort hood and san bernardino, and now philadelphia. >> reporter: you may recall, that last weekend, a day or two after the attack on officer hartnett, at a anonymous informant told philadelphia police that the danger was not over and that there were at least three other suspects, potentially, more dangerous who might be involved. that investigation has been ongoing, but sources have told cbs-3 so far there is no link between archer to anyone else, and this morning police commissioner richard ross asked about that, had this comment. >> well, part of the problem is that we haven't gotten a lot of movement. we are still with archer really haven't linked him to anyone else right now. we know of that tip that was given. it was somewhat credible but still no real link to other individual other than identifying people that he may know. >> so right now archer remains behind bars, held without bail, the director of the fbi

holding a press conference at 3:00 this afternoon. just moment ago here at police headquarters the mayor of philadelphia james kenney, along with senator robert casey, both arriving. they are now meeting with the police commissioner and they will speak out within the next 45 minutes. a very busy day in the wake of a very terrible crime and by the end of the day we should be learning more. we will have it all here on cbs-3. live from police headquarters i'm walt hunter for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". walt, thank you. two philadelphia police officers are recovering this noon after a violent crash involving an alleged drunk driver. the the 20 year-old driver is in custody after after police say he slammed in the officers at the intersection of the b street and west moreland and fair hill late last night. the the driver tried to runaway from the officers, but he didn't get very far. >> not only was he under the influence of alcohol but he also, had a suspended driver's license, so that is more than likely yes fled from police,

ran four blocks, and then actually for the with the police who had to take him into custody. >> the the officers were in plainclothes, and were driving an unmarked car at the time of that crash. the driver is facing at least two charges, dui and resisting arrest. all of the yours are none in life threatening. police want to know what prompted vandalism in the holmesberg section of philadelphia neighbors woke up to this scene this morning. windows and windshields smashed, on several cars, near luring and ditman streets. it is a half dozen vehicles that were targeted. police were called and a suspect was arrested nearby. that man identity has not been released. isis claimed responsibility for deadly paris style terrorist attacks, in indonesia's capitol today. correspondent jonathan vigliotti has the the latest from london. >> reporter: eyewitness video captured moment two suspected attackers, hit a bomb outside a star bucks in central

gentleman cart a indonesia authorities say a series of explosions rocked the busy area populated with tourist. at least seven people were killed, including five attackers. the the explosion went off, this witness said, i saw people running away and then two people lying on the ground, bleeding. police say that the a sale a ants rode motorbikes and used grenades and guns. at one point heavily armed security forces hid behind a car as they waged a gun battle against the suspects. it is the first major terror attacks in jakarta since islamic terrorists bombed two hotels in 2009. the islamic state claimed responsibility for this latest round of violence, indonesia has raised its security alert to the highest level, and its president is calling the assault an act of terror. jonathan vigliotti for cbs news. oscar nominations are out, coming up nominees and philly favorite sylvester stallone made history for his character

welcome back. the the eagles coaching search may be coming to a close in the near future. after missing out on a few candidates it appears they are setting their sights on a coaching veteran one fans in philadelphia know very well. we will bring in pat gallen with the details. this could be a controversial move, pat. >> i don't know if eagles fans will love this one but we shall see. communication and respect are two of the building blocks when it comes to the culture of a football team.

by all accounts former eagles held coach chip kelly may have been lacking in those areas over last three seasons but man they will interview for a second time is known for his expertise in both. according to reports, the eagles will introduce 69 year-old tom coughlin and it is possibly could be the next head coach of the philadelphia eagles. former giants head coach was interviewed by eagles brass on monday, i spoke with eagles reporter elliott sure-parks of nj.com who believes the the eagles wanted to go in a different direction. >> certainly feels like a panic move. you fired chip a week early to get a jump start on candidates. you interview adam gase. it seemed like that was their target. coughlin is essentially forced out of the giants job. he hasn't won a playoff game in four years or even made the playoffs. maybe this is just how important it is for eagles to rebuild their culture but in terms of x's and o's it is hard to feel like hiring of the tom coughlin is a step in the right direction. >> so coughlin's age is a major concern but does bring a

we have talked about alex this morning on "eyewitness news" this morning, but now it was a subtropical storm now upgraded, can you believe it to a category one hurricane in the atlantic and it is exceptionally rare to see this kind of thing happen in the open waters of the atlantic this time of the year. you just don't see it that often. it happens but very rarely. it is expect, however, to have no interaction with the north american continent but rather a problem for e zores rolling north over the course of the next couple of days. but lets talk about how rare this really is. when we talk about the statistics with hurricane alex. it is first hurricane to form in the month of january since 1938. but it is also first hurricane to occur in this month. in other word one formed in december when that was alice of 1955. so formed at the end of the december, 1954 and was with us into 1955. but just unbelievable situation going on out there, again, thankfully no direct threat to our land, here on the eastern united states coastline. meanwhile we do have our own
