a week like we've had, very cold, we were dealing with, some black ice out there that really caused problems for us earlier on in the week, we go outside and look at these dry roadways. know it's going to be 50. that is a great start to our friday. i feel like i was driving just there. accident 202 northbound off-ramp to the accident. good news is, you got a lot of flashing lights, the ramp closed, one lane of traffic is open. you are being able to scoot by. as a looking at this over the past hour or so, slowly volume levels starting to build kind of around this area if you tap your brakes, overall as long as that gets out of our way moving closer to 6:00, not going to pose too much of an issue. this is a look at the boulevard both directs. looking pretty good. looking nice and quiet. moving into the 6:00. also we have another accident in hunting park. fifth street closed, hunting park avenue you want to use an alternate. luzerne will be it for now. back over to you. >> thanks one week after the ambush of a philadelphia police officer

neighbors hold a community meeting in cobbs creek. >> eyewitness reporter david spunt was there ctonight is about terrorism unfortunately. that's what this is about. >> reporter: more than 200 angry and concerned west philadelphia neighbors packed the brian school to talk about what happened one week ago just a few blocks away. >> i'm shot, i'm bleeding heavily. >> jesse hartnett was ambushed and shot several times and authorities are confident edward archer pulled the trigger, not once or wise, but more than a dozen times. hartnett took three shots to the arm, archer confessed to the shooting in the name of isis and islam. >> i've been in this city as a muslim 40 years. it does not reflect the characteristics of the muslims here. >> reporter: he was just one of dozens of proud muslims who came out to show support for

philadelphia police officers, many who were on stage. >> islam itself is peace if you will. it's certain people within islam that can make it hard for others. >> reporter: the fbi is the lead on the case's the bureau's director james comey spend time with officer hartnett in the hospital before briefing local authorities. >> we, to fbi leveling through our joint terrorism task force are investigating that attack as a terrorist attack. >> reporter: comey skipped specifics but he said he doesn't believe archer is part of a larger cell. he's still cautious. philadelphia police commissioner richard ross on the job just over a week, spent time with officer hartnett in the morning. >> every day he's getting a logical better but he's got a lot of recovery ahead of him. >> reporter: according to fbi, archer traveled to egypt and saudi arabia within the last five years, something authorities and neighbors want to learn more about. >>. >> this guy does not represent us. >> reporter: archer is behind bars this morning, he has a

we've got good news, panda cub bei bei make his debut. he'll head outside tomorrow with the rest of his panda family. the national zoo newest giant panda, looks pretty big. bei bei been inside since his berth but he has been keeping busy.

colder water and maybe take a left-hand turn, let's see if this becomes an jib, however, it is out there and that is the bigger story more than anything. this is, again, such a rarity to find a storm system in the tropics, developed like. it is the first hurricane to form in january since 1938 but also the first to occur in the month since alice of 1955. alice formed in december of 1954 and then continued into new year, but again, a rarity obviously since you're talking a one in 60 year event or so. meanwhile stormscan 3 has activity of it's own to report. a lot of moisture currently lifting in from deep south. for now, we're nice and quiet at home. we'll check in with our eyewitness weather watchers, a lot of reports coming in to us from the watcher, you're finding temperature values into the 20's. cary checks from in from mt. laurel at 26, barbara willow

grove 26. 32 from bath pa, it's actually a little bit milder oddly enough and 32 in clementon. you see the list goes on. you got generally 20's, low 30's to report. let's quickly check in with our eyewitness weather watcher, weather seven-day forecast, piled day, rain tonight and early tomorrow morning. then we're back into the deep freeze next week. meisha? >> look at this, it's almost like we are playing a video game. no it's not. but i'm going to show you what i mean by that coming up in a little bit. what i'm going to show you we have an accident out there 202 northbound. the off-ramp to the schuylkill one lane open. now, that ramp was closed. one lane is now open. totally workable. as you can see all these flashing lights behind me, a good indicator to it is going to slow down in our 6:00 hour if we don't get that out of our way. what we can see are travelers getting by pretty much without any major hick ups yet. we could see that change coming
