the deadly thanksgiving day shooting in the cities port richmond section. cherri gregg from our sister station kyw 1060 is live outside police headquarters with the the very latest on the investigation, good morning, cherri. the. >> reporter: good morning, rahel, police arrested 18 year-old, david ramos, junior on saturday morning, without incident, he will be charged in connection with the early thanksgiving day morning murder of 21 year-old ryan kelly. holding candles and wearing t-shirts in solidarity friends and family gathered in this park to remember, ryan kelly, a 21 year-old man whom they say was always happy and smiling. kelly was found shot in the chest and bleeding, in the 3500 block of almond street less than a block from his port richmond home on thanksgiving morning. kelly died later that day and motive was likely robbery and went on the hunt for kelly's

killer. >> the fact that they committed a number of robberies. they are armed. they committed a homicide. >> reporter: surveillance video released last december, shows two suspects trying to use a stolen atm card by a nearby tk bank. police linked that to kelly's murder with the city offering a $20,000 rewar in the case. police got a break in the homicide, on saturday morning, when they arrested 18 year-old david ramos, on frankford avenue, without incident. family and friend continue to mourn the the loss of ryan kelly a young man, family man who fell victim to a senseless crime taking from these who love him far too soon. back out here live, now the suspect david ramos, junior, facing, murder, robbery, and other criminal charges, no word just yet on a status of his second suspect in that homicide case. live from police headquarters, cherri gregg for kyw news radio for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". cherri, thank you.

a philadelphia and adams county man air monk 12 marines who went missing after two helicopters crashed off of hawaii. the rescue teams are expanding their search to this morning, on thursday, two helicopters each carrying, six marines went down off of the north shore. officials say high surf is dispersing the debris and complicating the search and rescue effort. the cause of the crash is under investigation. five americans who were imprisoned in iran are in the process of being freed this morning. the prisoner swap was confirmed, shortly before it was announce that had iraq had met all measures spelled out in the landmark nuclear deal. we will get details from cbs news correspondent wendy gilette. >> reporter: iranian state television a announced the news saturday a swap of four americans, being held prisoner in iran in exchange for seven iranians held and charged in the u.s. u.s. state department dropped international arrest notices and charges, for 14 iranians. the the four freed americans are washington post reporter

a new year he wants to get back in shape. friday he went to planet fitness in downingtown and in less than 15 minutes a work out turned into first responder work when a man collapsed on the treadmill in front of him. >> he hit his head hard and started to bleed from the back of the head and was unresponsive. >> reporter: edward said planet fitness staff called 911 and bring over their automated external defribillator known as an aed. >> follow these voice instructions. >> reporter: edwards put the pads on the man's chest and ctr until the the time of shock. >> right have after you shock the patient you are to do two more minutes of cpr and it will count down how long, it will tell you one more minute to go, 30 more seconds to go. >> reporter: after two round of cpr and one shock he went to a pulse. he called the fire company to thank edward. >> his spirits were high. he will have more tests to see what was going on. they hope for a speedy

"eyewitness news" reporter alexandria hoff shows us how a local teen earned herself a trip to san francisco for her award winning idea. >> reporter: it is craving for a little competition, that sparked the idea of 13 year-old sierra dumick. >> the the second grade my sister's class gets very competitive with this. so i figured, just combine idea and make i a health app. >> reporter: eighth grader at our lady of calvary she entered in a competition in the fall backed by software giant sap and hosted by ge nu foundation. challenge, create a app that captures health. >> my health was a stat for grade school student that can earn 27 award based on their competing in different health will challenging like a fitness challenge.
