between charlie roseanne sean penn during 60 minutes interview. hear why the actor says his meeting with the drug lord el chapo was misunderstood. >> and, winter delivers a bitter blast to our area. brutal cold and windy conditions this morning. there could still be some slick spots out there, as well, from our first measurable snow. good morning, it is monday, january 18th, i'm erika von tiehl. we want to get right to the forecast and the roads right now with katie and meisha. just cold morning, hey, ladies? oh, boy yes. very cool, very windy actually in a lot of the camera shots we are seeing snow out there push off to the side of the road. then under the bridge decks, some icy spots, too, katie. so it certainly is looking okay, but certainly can cause some problems out there. >> yes, absolutely. that's the thing that sort of like the silent problem. sometimes you just don't see it coming up on you. when you have black ice out there, that absolutely is going to slow you down. now, thankfully a lot of the roads have been treated but please keep in mind some have not. if it looks wet, a sidewalk, front stoop or a roadway, it has frozen over.

is the signature event. you can see, weaver couple of volunteers, now, in the gym, setting up and getting ready for all of the activity. that will couple of hours, 5,000 volunteers will converge here later this morning, for more than 100 activities. so, the health and wellness fair start at 8:00 a.m. this morning, but the big service event starts at around 9:00. volunteers here will unpack, sort and re pack clothes for low income and unemployed men and women in our region. now this day of service again is in its 21st year. this year, coincides with the 60th anniversary of the montgomery bus boycott. so, with that in mind, this year's theme is justice, not just racial and social justice though but economic justice as well. take a listen. >> dr. king said that a man who does not have a job or an income does not have the opportunity for life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness. he merely exists. and the jobs fair will provide those job opportunities for

more than 500 people throughout the region, who are unemployed, or who are seeking employment and economic justice i think was an important part of who doctor kick was. >> so that job fair starts at 9:00 this morning, here you can see the volunteers are now getting together and going over their last minute assignments before the 5,000 other volunteers arrive here later on this morning, and you can see, also, in the background, a lot of clothes and a lot of boxes. that's the sorting that is going to be happening for the men and women who are under employed or unemployed and low income need just a helping hand. so today most definitely not a day for to you sit home off of school and work but a day that come out and volunteer and work not only girard college but all over our community, here starts at 9:00 kick offer by new mayor as well as the new governor. ever kay, back into you. >> maybe we can all pull together, thanks so much. >> and there are number of event going on around our area today. for more information go to our

website cbsphilly.com. >> 6:05 right now, new this morning, police pursuit after stolen suv ends in a crash in philadelphia's olney neighborhood. investigators say the suv crashed at crescent ville road and adams avenue then several men left the scene. officers are looking for the men who they believe headed for the the woods near the crash. >> police continue their search for a man who shot two people in a north philadelphia homeless shelter. one man is dead, the other is in critical condition. that shooting happened sunday morning, inside the station house men's shelter on north broad street. police say a man who had been evicted from the shelter returned to collect hits belongings, got into an argument with staff, and shot two workers. former mayor wilson goode who runs that shelter spoke about the shooting. >> what happened was tragic. we just pray for the staff here, pray for the resident here, pray for the family members. >> police say the gunman was

now she decides to stick around until the ends of the week, may see some more that far snow. i know you are watching it, katie, today, though, that winds, really just chilling everyone. >> absolutely, but we'll sort of take little tour here, see what's possible for the tail end of the week. and i preface it by saying it is possible because there is still a loft question marks here, guys, because this is the possibility, of the first really substantial snow that we've seen so far this winter specially coming off such warm air, i think a loft are you wondering okay, what's going on out there? a sense whatever we are currently looking at, nationwide map not here yet. still over developing over the pacific ocean, what you see over san francisco, not what's coming yet. really more than anything you can see how the clouds structure, you see how it sort of since in here, the cold air has set the stage for us at this point. for very chilly week. and it is going to ease up at least little bit with time. but not enough that we would be looking at strictly rain. okay? so, here we go. core of the cold, off to the north, that is going to starting to off to the north, as well, with every passing
