the shooting was targeted and they do not believe other homeless people are at risk. a new jersey man files a lawsuit begins amtrak over the deadly derailment in philadelphia. the the suit claims joshua pearl stein of living ton, essex county suffered injuries that harmed the quality of his life when the train 188 jumped the tracks last may. the authorities say that train was traveling more than 100 miles an hour. eight people were killed and more than 200 others were hurt. crash remains under investigation. today marks one year since the the partial roof collapse injured shoppers at a lulu lemon store in center city. one of the victims is now filing a lawsuit against owners of the adjacent property. the lawyers for 28 year-old allison friedman, the the most seriously injured victim, say that she was crushed by parts of the the stores roof and falling debris from the adjoining office building. the she's set to have spinal fusion surgery today. federal offices in washington d.c. will finally open to take but with a three hour delay.

world health officials are warning travelers about the the mosquito born zeka virus. that virus has been found in 20 countries throughout latin america and caribbean. for pregnant woman that virus is dangerous and can cause birth defects. so far there is no treatment or vaccine so health officials a best way to avoid it it is to prevent mosquito by the. >> cover up, use insect repellant and if possible stay in the hotel, take in a location with firm windows and possibly air conditioning. >> cdc is recommending pregnant woman a avoid traveling to countries where the virus is active. there has been a dozen cases in the u.s. since last year but all of those patients are believed to have gotten that that virus abroad. still ahead this morning one airline is making welcomed changes to coach seats. we will tell you which ones. but first here's a look what is coming up tonight on cbs-3.
