shoveling her driveway. "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco joins us from claymont with more details, diana a. >> reporter: ukee, it all happened inside this claymont delaware neighborhood shortly after the storm ended on sunday. that 76 year-old woman is recovering tonight, and police are looking for this suspect, who is said to be a woman in her late 20's, or early 30's. police say that she pushed into that elderly woman's home sunday morning on the 2700 block of madison, the woman was asking the elderly woman if she needed her walk shoveled. but she didn't have a shovel on her. and the victim had also recognized her as the same woman who came to her door the day before offering the same services, and so the elderly victim grew suspicious and refused. that is when the female suspect pushed her way in to the elderly woman's apartment and got away with a debit card and cash. here's what police had to say. >> our victim i told her numerous times you need to leave, get out of my house, et cetera, et cetera.

so during the course of the investigation the the officer learned that the the victims credit card was taken, and used at a local convenience store. >> reporter: victim's card was used just a a short time after robbery, according to police at the a nearby wawa. police are looking for this woman, said to be in her late 20's, or early 30's, on a side note police office shore responded to the elderly victim's call did end up shoveling out, her walk. anyone with any information on this suspect is now asked to contact the police. we are live from claymont delaware, i'm diana rocco for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". the the awning on a home in philadelphia's frankford neighborhood collapsed under the weight of last weekend's snow this happened on the 1900 block of off street. authorities say that the partial collapse did not affect structural inn telling grit of the home. concerns are growing about the local impact. a lot of businesses closed including the italian market in south philadelphia a that

fighters rescued it during the winter storm. >> as snow fell, the cat climbed 60 feet up a tree in the the county but this wasn't a simple rescue. the town was buried under 30 inches of snow and bucket truck could not reach the cat. so authorities called in a ladder truck. aftercarefully positioning it, a fire fighter was able to climb up, and grab the cat and then a neighbor adopted it. nicely done. nicely done. well, lot of that snow will be long gone, kate. >> it is, long gone, now. every single day it is less difficult. big piles of snow you just can't get where you need to go. good news things are melting rapidly. although by next week most of the actual snow cover should be gone but some of the big dirty piles of snow they will in the go anywhere for a while. they will get smaller and dirtier, as time goes on. the that is worst part. i wish snow would just disappear. >> wouldn't that be nice. >> because it is a gross clean up process dealing with these big piles of snow.

we're not experiencing a a wrapped snow melt. that is what people have been asking. you get the one or two days and it surges up in the 50's and 60's really close to the even of the storm and you get a wrapped snow melt and that water seeps in the ground and well, you get threat for flooding, peoples base also leaking. it has been slow. yesterday was on the warm side. hopefully everybody dealt with it the okay, sump pumps are in good working order. check them though as we head in the rest of winter. the lets look at outside right now. we will go to the poconos where people are enjoying the snow on the slopes. they have got decent snow in the poconos. not as much as areas off to the south but it has been cold enough in the evenings, to continue to make that manmade snow on top of the mother nature's contributions. people enjoying it at jack frost big bold they are week. you can see some coming down the slopes to the left and snow board training area as this guy may been to do a trick or something here. here he goes, let's watch, going up on the half pipe. he stayed up. more than i could do i would

3 degrees. now that the sun has gone down we have light wind, clear sky, very crisp. in the 20's tonight. tomorrow morning we're seeing teens in the lehigh valley, berks county, lancaster county, 20's in the city of philadelphia and even sub freezing down the the shore. anything that is left on the roads any run off from the snow melt is all going to freeze up and we will have icy spots into tomorrow morning. watch where you step out the the door and in your driveway if you have low lying areas where that snow melt likes to run off, expect it would be icy. tomorrow mostly sunny, upper 30's, brisk here on friday. the saturday we will start a warm up high pressure slips to the east. we will get a return flow, southwest flow, sunday into monday and temperatures surged next week. the here's an interesting thing on look at. the thursday and friday, thursday is colder then friday, friday, the high around 40. thursday your feels like temperature at the height of the afternoon is 37. take a look at friday, it feels like 27 degrees. that is why you cannot get seven day on your phone because it is just misleading. would you need exact coat
