for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> key question, alex, thanks very much. other news tense moments at a philadelphia high school a gun went off during a fight between students and that sent the school into lock down. "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco over at ben franklin high school in spring garden with more on what happened, diana. >> reporter: ukee, that lock down was just lifted about an hour ago police have now taken five students into custody and they are questioning them. they have also recovered a handgun, from the high school, they now believe this was as a result of the fight between a group of students. teen ablers in handcuffs escorted from ben franklin high school after dozens of police descend on the north philadelphia a school on friday. high school was on lock down and police conduct a search of the entire building floor by floor, looking for a handgun. just before noon time a security guard called 911 to report a shot fired inside a school locate add a 550 north broad street. a shell casing for a 45 californiaer with handgun was found inside a stairwell.

police say a group of kids were fighting inside the school and they are now talking to the students involved. >> i don't know what the extent of the fight was, what it was about or anything like that but right now we are told another individual fired a shot. we don't know whether that is true or not but what we do know is that the the shot was confirmed by security officer on location. >> reporter: the students crouched under desk while police investigated the threat. concerned parents started to show up at the school. she was getting text messages from her 11th grade son. >> he was scared. he doesn't understand how they got in with the gun with the metal detectors at the front door. >> police are looking in the possibility that a secondhand gun may have also been involved, no one was injured this afternoon and no charges have been yet filed. coming up at 6:00 we will show you frantic text messages being sent from parents from students inside the building. live outside ben franklin high school in spring gander, i'm diana rocco for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a fight on the september

bus between two men end with a stabbing. this happened around 2:00 p.m. on a route 56 bus at torresdale avenue and paul street in philadelphia's frankford neighborhood. authorities say that one of the men stabbed the the other, with an unknown object and then ran away, and then tonight police are still searching for that suspect. the the victim's injuries were described as non-life threatening. traffic was a mess early this afternoon on the blue route in delaware county, a truck crashed and caught fire in the southbound lanes near the the broomall exit. chopper three over the the southbound lanes early as only one lane was getting by. the cause of that shall craze now under investigation. the ride to school turned chaotic for dozens of ann mullens middle school students when their bus was involved in a crash. it happened around 7:45 this morning on sicklerville road near bryce's court in sicklerville camden county. twelve of the 30 students on that bus plus a man and two young children in an suv were hospitalized for minor injuries.
