january 30th, good morning i'm rahel solomon. meteorologist justin drabick with eyewitness weather and justin, we have been saying it all morning but what a difference since last week it was cold, snowing. >> yeah, i was running around like a mad man in here n and out. i'm's bored. i don't know what to do today. >> we have all these changes. >> that too but nice quiet weekend, that is what i'm talking about. the it will warm up. we have a couple shots for rain, let's put it that way. shower chances monday, and then better chance of steadier rain coming in on wednesday. so, here we go, we have temperatures this morning, it is cold. we saw melting yesterday, we're refreezing a as well, so 26 in philadelphia, 23 in allentown. watch out for icy conditions on those untreated road, bridges, overpasses, possibly, some of the driveways. twenty-three in doylestown. that is one of the cold spots. we have a super weekend, we have a refreeze. high temperatures above freezing, yesterday, and we saw 20's right now.

hillary clinton because they contain top secret information. the highest level of the government classification. the decision coming days before the the iowa caucus is a major distraction for the democratic presidential candidate, over the past year, clinton has been under fire for at times, using a private e-mail server to conduct business, while secretary of state david spunt has more on what this means for her campaign. >> reporter: hillary clinton greeted supporters tonight but made no mention of the the news that broke just hours earlier, surrounding her personal e-mail server. news that she may have sent or received top secret e-mails, on her personal server, exploded on line and on the campaign trail late this afternoon. seven e-mail chains totaling 37 pages were being upgraded in classification to top secret. >> in consultation with the intelligence community we are making this upgrade. >> reporter: top secret is considered one of the highest levels of classification and

from their homes, to the vanguard school in chester county. macintyre has been banned from school property and suspended without school pay. the school district did release a statement reading in part we will be in contact with the families of students involved, and we will provide all necessary resources, the district will cooperate fully with law enforcement the as the investigation continues. nine students at rowan university are arrested after police say that they scammed one convenient store out of about $35,000. as alexandria hoff reports the the students are accused of making fake returns to load money on their school debit cards. like most universities rowan has their own id card that double as releddable debit card. students can use these boro bucks in 90 places in and around campus. >> i just spend 3.50. >> fifty bucks for coffee and books is normal but what was coming out of the campus 7-eleven is not. >> 7-eleven noticed first and

requested some information from the college about transactions. and then, they looked for the ring and saw wow, they have a lot of returns. >> reporter: $35,000 worth of returns a according to police done in 69 different transactions. >> he would swipe the the card, and hit return and then type in an amount and it was on his card. >> reporter: police say a 21 year-old student working at 7-eleven was entering fake return amounts and then crediting his own boro bucks account along with the card of his eight friend who were fellow students, all nine have been arrested and charged with theft. these freshman say they have appreciate the the boro bucks system and hepp group charged didn't ruin a good thing for everyone. >> all these unnecessary rules like there had to be that one person that ruins it for everyone. >> reporter: police say that the thefts took place over a ten month span so between campus card services and 7-eleven was the victim losing out on $35,000. the the big question is how come it took so long for

anyone to notice. reporting from rowan university i'm alexandria hoff for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". five students were taken away in handcuffs after gunfire erupted inside of philadelphia's ben franklin high school. shots were fired after a fight broke out in a stairwell. the school went into lock down while police swept the building, and a handgun was recovered. fortunately in one was injured. the 115th annual philadelphia auto show is ready for visitors today this years show will feature 700 vehicles including classic, exotic cars, "eyewitness news" reporter anita oh is live at pennsylvania convention center to give us a sneak peak, good morning, anita. >> reporter: good morning, rahel. we are sitting in a very special car. thinks the 2016 buick tascada because this is first convertible in 25 years for buick. joining me is kevin masscoal at the executive director of the auto show. kevin, how much does this

cargo for. >> mid 30's but is what cool is it is at a price point, domestic and convertible for buick. it has been a great year, best sales they have ever had. they have been coming out with spectacular products. you see people in their booth. that is what is cool about this show you see these products you don't see on the the showroom floor. we have 2017 le cross behind us and a envision and these are vehicles that are not even for sale yet, they will be for sale later in the year. you see old, classic, new and stuff that you may be getting 26, seven, eight months from now. >> reporter: we were talking earlier about the kind of void that this is filling, not only for buick but also in the auto show, as well discuss more about the alto show and how many different options there are. >> and, that is what makes it great, about 40 percent of the all of the vehicles sold in our market area influenced by the the show, that is almost $3 billion in sales.

cake kosher bakery in the overbrook park section of philadelphia it is not just the sweet,s that bring them in many times just a check of ziza georgewitch. >> reopened the business in the neighborhood that she loves, obviously to help the the community out there, it is truly remarkable. >> reporter: she's now trying to get back to normal, proceeding august when two armed males broke in the bakery making you have with maybe a couple hundred dollars but not before sheeting her in the neck. >> i said you have to get up and get some help. >> reporter: somehow she managed to pull herself off the floor to call police. she spent several weeks in the hospital, yet she said she never felt a alone. >> all of the friend, and support, i am survivor, yes and i'm back to work i'm glad report rorrer while she recovered she thought about never coming back to the bakery that she has owned for more than ten years but she thought about all have the of the customers who prayed for her, supported her, and

deciding ultimately that she needs them, as much a as they need her. >> i said, yeah, all that support, i realize how much people care, about people. >> reporter: reporting from southwest detectives, rahel sol machine for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". and, she tells me although she's glad to be back at work she has increased security, is there now 24 hour surveillance in the front and the back of the bakery, and police believe that the same two suspects and this robbery and shooting, also robbed a bakery in january of last year so if you know anything about the the two suspects you are asked to give them a call. one week after the storm now and we are learning more about the damage to the jersey shore. state environmental officials say 19 beaches sustained heavy damage. but most of the severe erosion happened in northern ocean county, along long beach island. atlantic city beach elevation fell between two and 8 feet and ocean city beaches fell

the justin, it feels like winter, right now but maybe in the so much tomorrow. >> that is right, we're talking about spring-like temperatures coming at us, temperatures in the the 50's and even 60's next week. the don't get used to it. the it will in the last but we have a break from the cold start to the weekend. we're about 40 minutes from sunrise and it is a nice, clear morning across the region right now. skies are starting to brighten up a little bit but coal. we had melting yesterday, just watch out for maybe two areas of icy conditions on the untreated surfaces. lets check out temperatures. well below freezing, 26 at philadelphia airport. same deal in millville, new jersey 206789 in mount pocono. nineteen in lancaster. we still have that snow pack the on the ground. that is helping drop the temperatures more with the clear skies, 23 in willow grove and doylestown. wind are calming down and they got gusty yesterday with that front moving in with snow showers. now sustain wind of less than 10 miles an hour. still a bit of wind chill this morning. so it does feel will like the

can you talk about this model we are looking at. >> first suv from jag called the f pace. it will range in the the 45 to $70,000 range but what it really shows is this niche, small suv niche that gained in popularity. 50 percent increase in sales last year. the the range is anywhere from a mazda, x3, 20,000 to something like this at 60 or 70. a lot of entries in that marketplace and resonating with the consumer and see a proliferation of this particular niche throughout the whole show. >> reporter: these type of the suv's are explode nothing popularity, what is that doing to the sales. >> it is in the that the market isn't expand. we had greatest year ever a at 17 and a half million will but there is a a migration. they like to ride are high and versatility, small suv's and so this is really kind of where people are gravitating too for their next ride. >> reporter: what are you most excited about for the auto show today. >> i'm's excited about planning for ten months and
