of the week. fifty's, 60's. the it comes with a price with some rain that will help melt some of the snow more. we are having a nice gradual slow melting processing on. the that is huge. with steady rain on the way wednesday we don't to have worry about flooding at least big time flooding at this point. as we finish off the weekend still cold this morning, below freezing, so watch out areas of black ice on the untreated surfaces in the lehigh valley berks county. thirty-one now at the airport in philadelphia. freezing in willow grove. twenty-eight pottstown and doylestown. here we go this tells the story the temperature change compared to 24 hours ago or anywhere from three to 16 degrees warmer. that is a a sign of milder air mass, moving in. wind are pretty much calm to 10 miles an hour or less depending where you are. the wind chill values running just a few degrees colder then what the actual air temperature is. not the most sunny day, we will have some clouds rolling through so we will have partly

sunny, but temperatures not bad. upper 30's by 9:00. mid 40's by noon time. we will make to it 50 degrees. low 50's with a little more sun at the shore. even in the poconos and above freezing we're talking about lower 40's. we will keep it in the 50's for first half of the week and then even 60's. and then we will time out that rain in a few minutes. >> all right feels warmer, thank you. septa riders are on alert after a disturbing attack, and police say they are still searching for the suspect. cherri gregg from our sister station kyw news radio is live with the very latest. cherri, good morning, what can you tell us. >> reporter: i can tell you that the the suspect is said to be a man who was a passenger on the route 56 septa bus. i understand that he stabbed a fellow passenger during a disturbing altercation. now police released surveillance video hoping that the public can id this man. police say it all happened friday afternoon around

2:00 p.m. near the intersection of torresdale avenue and paul street, surveillance video from that septa bus shows the suspect wearing a blue shirt getting on the bus. police say he did the not have proper transfer, the driver questioned it but let the by on and then he was irate the the entire time. driver called police and asked the suspect to get off the bus. when the guy refuse add a frustrated passenger stepped in, pushed the suspect off the bus and a fight ensued. it ended with that suspect stabbing the passenger turned victim several times in the neck. lieutenant dennis rosenbaum of northeast detectives say many other passengers not realizing how serious left the scene to catch other buses which is why police need the public's help. >> anybody knows him please call our tip line. it the is a in must. we are looking to be pointed in the rate direction and if anybody that was the bus that left before police got the there has additional fur or knows who this person is to

two weeks ago the the boxer pit bull mix was shot the in the leg during a violent home invasion on the 4600 block of tenth street. rhino's owner, was shot and killed. family members who believe rhino was attempting to save her life say they will cherish the puppy. >> i'm happy. i think my brother would be happy. >> from the moment he walk in here and we were all helpful, they were treating him like he was part of the family. >> and there is a $20,000 reward for information leading to the killer. police now have a a suspect in custody in connection to the shooting incident at a philadelphia high school. a shot was fired on friday during a fight at the ben franklin high school on broad street. police have five students out in handcuffs and witnesses later led police to the home of another juvenile, they searched that home and arrested the teenager. the teen's identity is not being released.

talking about spring-like temperatures coming up this week. march and april-like numbers over the next few days. check it out outside you can feel the difference. it is cold, still below freezing but nothing like yesterday. we were down in the lower 20's in many locations. we have cloud cover over us, acting as a blanket holding these temperatures up. we also have a push of warmer air coming from the south and west. so nice quiet start to our sunday morning. that is the trend this afternoon just a great way to finish off the weekend and we will kick off warming trend today. temperatures up around 50 degrees. each take gets warmer through middle of the week. slow melting process continues, however, steady rain does arrive in our forecast especially during the day on wednesday. we will talk about that in a little will bit. but yesterday right near average 41 degrees was the official high temperature. today we will be up around 50 degrees. in the mid 50's on monday. more clouds. we will not see total sunshine throughout these days. slightly cooler on tuesday but still above average in the lower 50's and then wednesday that is the day we will push

lower 60's potentially, however we have to pay a price with steady rain. here's storm scan three nice and quiet. warm front coming through great lakes triggering a few rain showers, that front passes. it is bringing clouds but that is a a sign of the warmer air in the mid levels of the at the months fear and overall it is just nice and quiet through mid-atlantic and north east through the the next 12 to 24 hours or so. throughout the afternoon warm front continues to push through, we will see a mix of sun and clouds in, threat of rain, notice this cold front doesn't have a lot of moisture witt. it crosses our region tomorrow afternoon. we could get a shower or two in some locations during the afternoon and evening, nothing heavy, as this front passes on by and then really not a big temperature drop behind the front either. maybe just a few degrees for temperatures on tuesday. this is a larger storm across the midwest on tuesday, that will bring in the steady rain in here on wednesday, as well as some warm temperatures. so today we will be in the upper 40's.

temperatures will be in the lower 50's in the warm spots and we would be warmer if we didn't have have the snow on the ground. then this tomorrow morning it is no the the that bad. we will above freezing. we will stay above freezing for next several days. probably not until next weekend that we will drop below 32 again. around 40 for philadelphia, tomorrow morning, in the afternoon, mid 50's, maybe even 60 degrees, in some spots especially south and east of the city you can see enough sunshine. here's the trend. we will warm things up, jet streams on the move, starting to move northward. we will get that warmer air coming in on wednesday but it comes with some rain and then notice, this cold pocket of air up across northern can inadequacies, coming down here but second half of the next weekend. you have to remember it is february. don't expect these warm temperatures to last. sign of cold air returns mid month. today partly sunny, milder up around 50. tonight 41. watch out for areas of fog in some spots and here is that extended forecast, 56 on monday, that after a noon shower on tuesday down to
