of the week. fifty's, 60's. the it comes with a price with some rain that will help melt some of the snow more. we are having a nice gradual slow melting processing on. the that is huge. with steady rain on the way wednesday we don't to have worry about flooding at least big time flooding at this point. as we finish off the weekend still cold this morning, below freezing, so watch out areas of black ice on the untreated surfaces in the lehigh valley berks county. thirty-one now at the airport in philadelphia. freezing in willow grove. twenty-eight pottstown and doylestown. here we go this tells the story the temperature change compared to 24 hours ago or anywhere from three to 16 degrees warmer. that is a a sign of milder air mass, moving in. wind are pretty much calm to 10 miles an hour or less depending where you are. the wind chill values running just a few degrees colder then what the actual air temperature is. not the most sunny day, we will have some clouds rolling through so we will have partly

sunny, but temperatures not bad. upper 30's by 9:00. mid 40's by noon time. we will make to it 50 degrees. low 50's with a little more sun at the shore. even in the poconos and above freezing we're talking about lower 40's. we will keep it in the 50's for first half of the week and then even 60's. and then we will time out that rain in a few minutes. >> all right feels warmer, thank you. septa riders are on alert after a disturbing attack, and police say they are still searching for the suspect. cherri gregg from our sister station kyw news radio is live with the very latest. cherri, good morning, what can you tell us. >> reporter: i can tell you that the the suspect is said to be a man who was a passenger on the route 56 septa bus. i understand that he stabbed a fellow passenger during a disturbing altercation. now police released surveillance video hoping that the public can id this man. police say it all happened friday afternoon around

2:00 p.m. near the intersection of torresdale avenue and paul street, surveillance video from that septa bus shows the suspect wearing a blue shirt getting on the bus. police say he did the not have proper transfer, the driver questioned it but let the by on and then he was irate the the entire time. driver called police and asked the suspect to get off the bus. when the guy refuse add a frustrated passenger stepped in, pushed the suspect off the bus and a fight ensued. it ended with that suspect stabbing the passenger turned victim several times in the neck. lieutenant dennis rosenbaum of northeast detectives say many other passengers not realizing how serious left the scene to catch other buses which is why police need the public's help. >> anybody knows him please call our tip line. it the is a in must. we are looking to be pointed in the rate direction and if anybody that was the bus that left before police got the there has additional fur or knows who this person is to

call northeast detectives. >> reporter: the man is described as in his 30's, 5 feet 10 inches tall. he wore a blue shirt and light colored jeans. for those taking septa buses, police have have said that if this type of situation happens, don't get involved, just let police do their jobs. a photo of that suspect is a railable on cbs philly.com. live from northeast detectives, cherri gregg for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> cherri, thanks very much. within person has died have after a shooting overnight in west philadelphia. the victim is believed to be in his mid 20's. police say he was shot multiple times in the back seat of the koran 60th and pine street. he was transported to presbyterian hospital where he was pronounced dead. no arrests have been made. a public i shot trying to deeven if his owner is back with his family this morning. seven month-old rhino was released from the vet specialty and emergency center in south philadelphia.

two weeks ago the the boxer pit bull mix was shot the in the leg during a violent home invasion on the 4600 block of tenth street. rhino's owner, was shot and killed. family members who believe rhino was attempting to save her life say they will cherish the puppy. >> i'm happy. i think my brother would be happy. >> from the moment he walk in here and we were all helpful, they were treating him like he was part of the family. >> and there is a $20,000 reward for information leading to the killer. police now have a a suspect in custody in connection to the shooting incident at a philadelphia high school. a shot was fired on friday during a fight at the ben franklin high school on broad street. police have five students out in handcuffs and witnesses later led police to the home of another juvenile, they searched that home and arrested the teenager. the teen's identity is not being released.

no word on any charges. a community is remembering a pottstown woman who died while shoveling snow. eighteen year-old brianna who suffered from a heart condition and eight months pregnant was found unconscious by her brother a after this weekend's major winter storm. she was later pronounced dead at the hospital. a a go fund me page has been set up to help would the man's family. find the link to that page on cbs philly.com. and all three inmates who escaped a southern california jail are now back in custody. hussein nairi and jonathan chew were found hiding in the stolen white van saturday morning park in the whole food in san francisco. that is nearly 400 miles from the orange county jail from where they escaped. the third inmate surrendered on friday. we are one day away from the way caucus and new poll is out that shows donald trump in the lead on the g.o.p. side and democrat hillary clinton and bernie sanders neck and

pennsylvanians had signed up, including 275,000 right here in the philadelphia area. but that is still leaving hundreds of thousands uninsurance. penalty for not having health insurance is jumping to a minimum of $695 per person, or two and a half percent of household income. on the cbs-3 healthwatch with autism rates sky rocketing there is new research that identified two risk factors or things that increase chances of women having children with developmental disorder. health reporter stephanie stahl has details on his study. >> reporter: diabetes and obesity are at epidemic levels of women of child bearing age. now they are linking the two conditions to the increased risk for autism. >> we found mothers who were obese and diabetic during pregnancy had a risk four times greater than moth hours didn't have their child developing autism. >> reporter: study public in the journal pediatrics found a higher autism wrist income

talking about spring-like temperatures coming up this week. march and april-like numbers over the next few days. check it out outside you can feel the difference. it is cold, still below freezing but nothing like yesterday. we were down in the lower 20's in many locations. we have cloud cover over us, acting as a blanket holding these temperatures up. we also have a push of warmer air coming from the south and west. so nice quiet start to our sunday morning. that is the trend this afternoon just a great way to finish off the weekend and we will kick off warming trend today. temperatures up around 50 degrees. each take gets warmer through middle of the week. slow melting process continues, however, steady rain does arrive in our forecast especially during the day on wednesday. we will talk about that in a little will bit. but yesterday right near average 41 degrees was the official high temperature. today we will be up around 50 degrees. in the mid 50's on monday. more clouds. we will not see total sunshine throughout these days. slightly cooler on tuesday but still above average in the lower 50's and then wednesday that is the day we will push

lower 60's potentially, however we have to pay a price with steady rain. here's storm scan three nice and quiet. warm front coming through great lakes triggering a few rain showers, that front passes. it is bringing clouds but that is a a sign of the warmer air in the mid levels of the at the months fear and overall it is just nice and quiet through mid-atlantic and north east through the the next 12 to 24 hours or so. throughout the afternoon warm front continues to push through, we will see a mix of sun and clouds in, threat of rain, notice this cold front doesn't have a lot of moisture witt. it crosses our region tomorrow afternoon. we could get a shower or two in some locations during the afternoon and evening, nothing heavy, as this front passes on by and then really not a big temperature drop behind the front either. maybe just a few degrees for temperatures on tuesday. this is a larger storm across the midwest on tuesday, that will bring in the steady rain in here on wednesday, as well as some warm temperatures. so today we will be in the upper 40's.

temperatures will be in the lower 50's in the warm spots and we would be warmer if we didn't have have the snow on the ground. then this tomorrow morning it is no the the that bad. we will above freezing. we will stay above freezing for next several days. probably not until next weekend that we will drop below 32 again. around 40 for philadelphia, tomorrow morning, in the afternoon, mid 50's, maybe even 60 degrees, in some spots especially south and east of the city you can see enough sunshine. here's the trend. we will warm things up, jet streams on the move, starting to move northward. we will get that warmer air coming in on wednesday but it comes with some rain and then notice, this cold pocket of air up across northern can inadequacies, coming down here but second half of the next weekend. you have to remember it is february. don't expect these warm temperatures to last. sign of cold air returns mid month. today partly sunny, milder up around 50. tonight 41. watch out for areas of fog in some spots and here is that extended forecast, 56 on monday, that after a noon shower on tuesday down to

that energy out there people who like spring like temperatures will really like the next several days because we will start that warming trend to daze up around 50. each day gets warmer through the the the first half of the upcoming weekend. we will peak in the lower 60's on wednesday, it comes with a little bit of rain as well. there you go, warming trend has begun, three to 16 degrees warmer compare to 24 hours ago. it is still cold right now, and a lot of numbers are below freezing, even here in the city, or at least at the the airport 31 degrees. allentown and reading at 26. watch out for untreated surfaces, they could be slick this morning with the black ice, at freezing in willow grove, pottstown, doylestown in the upper 20's. not much wind to deal with, that is good news, wind chill values not much colder then what the actual air temperature is. it does feel like mid 20's on exposed skin. we have included rolling through. mid to high level clouds. we will see decent of after sunshine, we will call it partly sunny. that will help warm temperatures up. this morning a few icy spots. temperatures in the the 20's

at the same jail where they escaped. brian web, for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". and the the prison break was similar to the one last summer in upstate new york, joyce mitchell pleaded guilty to smuggle in tools that helped richard matt and david sweat break out of prison there. meantime in san francisco super bowl week is underway. vince lombardi trophy is the the big prize and fans are already taking pictures of themselves witt at the the nfl experience. this is one of the main super bowl 50 activities in san francisco. the nfl experience is where fans can run with nfl players, play games and learn about the history of football. 49ers running back roger craig was also there and held up the trophy. >> as a father, you know how to hold the trophy. you know, it is old news to me now but it still felt good to hold that trophy knowing that
