out there, seeing one behind me right now but katie, a little bit of these slick conditions, wet on the roadways but then fog, visibility issues. >> that is always a throw you a loop when you walk out the door. even though storm system and frontal boundary made its retreat and we are done with wet weather we have moisture, you still have an nice, light wind and moisture rich and mild air mass. that can allow that fog to form. basically a perfect recipe but storm scan locally no major problems right now and it is glancing view here but when you walk out the door it is a different story. we are at currently modest wind outside tashfeen my use cove nature park. normally you would be seeing portions of center sit the eye sky line. couple lights in the distance but you unless we told you you would never know. 55 degrees currently at that particular off site and that is why partly you have got fog forming and locally it is not terrible every where but you have some spots, and under a

but it is letting us know the indication of what we are dealing with this morning for those of you just thinking of heading out the door. fog on the ben franklin bridge moving in the westbound direction, a good overview of what you will be dealing with, visibility will be a issue this morning. this is where we had an accident cleared involving a tractor trailer and car on the north east extension southbound that has just been clear. we have had another accident that just cleared in telford, more more road at ridge road that just cleared. another accident just cleared in pottstown farming ton avenue at evans road letting us know that this morning this could be a potential insight of what we are dealing with because of that fog, visibility issues and because it is so wet outside on the roadways. for those just thinking of leave your home, give yourself a couple minutes. you will need it with visibility and wet roadways playing a part, erika, back to you. overnight, several young children in frankford witnessed a horrible crime. a a man gunned down and killed right in front of them. goes out to these kids, justin, good morning. good morning, indeed, witnesses did spend last night and overnight, speaking with homicide detectives. they tell police there were children inside that home when the shooter opened up the door, shot inside and seemed to be able at the aiming at the man who was kill. lets take to you video from overnight. fifteenth district police were called to a report of shots fired about 10:30 last night on the 1800 block of east fillmore street in the frankford section. the crime scene unit was on scene and found two shell casings near the front porch. witnesses tell police that the shooter walk up to that home, opened up the front door and began shooting and seemed to take aim at the victim a 30 year-old man. he did suffer at least one gunshot to the head and was pronounced dead in that living room at 10:40 last night. police say he was visiting that home where police say there were also six young adults and four children also present. those children age four to eight years old, no one else

was injured and this morning the search is now on for the gunman, last seen wearing a dark jack wet white lettering on the front and back possibly a north face jacket. he watts also wearing dark jeans and white sneakers. there were city crime cameras nearby and private surveillance camera too that may have caught that suspect a arriving to and from the crime scene. >> he was last seen running east on fillmore then crossing the street which is the 4800 block of tackawanna and last seen entering the tackawanna street homes. the housing development in the area. >> reporter: police a say that fillmore/tackawanna area is area for low level drug activity however, there is no official motive at this time. the search is still on for that suspect, if you know anything you are urged to give police a call, erika, back over to you. >> justin finch, thank you. happening right new lets look live right here at west

oak lane where pgw crews are working to fix a big natural gas leak. residents in four homes were forced to evacuate on the 7200 block of 21st street. that situation is, fixed right now and thankfully a a neighbor smelled gas and did the right thing and called 911. >> so we got on our clothes, we came outside, once i came outside i really smelled the strong smell of gas. >> one person was taken to the hospital as a precaution. we have just learned pgw capped the broken main and fire officials do expect everyone to be back in their hems within the incomes hour. 5:05. bill cosby's lawyers are planning an appeal after a judge ruled that the sex assault case against the comedian can a proceed. montgomery county judge yesterday reject cosby's motion to dismiss charges. the 78 year-old is charged with sexually assaulting former temple employee andrea conn stan. cosby's legal team argued he had an immunity deal with

former district attorney bruce castor. preliminary hearing in that case is scheduled for march 8th. stay with "eyewitness news" as the cosby case moves forward, we will have latest developments both on tv and on line at cbs philly.com. a family is speaking exclusively to cbs-3 after perfect mother and two daughters are run down in a hit and run in south philadelphia. art a or mcmilan is the girl's father. he got a call tuesday night that his wife stephanie and two of his girls, five-year old caitlin and four month-old kayla had been hit while crossing the street at broad and dickinson. the accident was caught on surveillance video. stephanie and four month-old kayla are out of the hospital. five-year old caitlin is still being treated for her injuries. >> he is a coward for running and not even stopping. there are babies involved. so why would you do this. however it is, i hope they get what is coming to them. >> police are still searching for the female driver of that red honda accord right there that you see that left the scene. the car has had the passenger side mirror missing.

a woman, begged for her life as she gets carjacked, and rob, while stopping at a gas station. now we're hearing exclusively from the victim of that frightening crime. "eyewitness news" reporter natasha brown has had her story a and more on the search for those suspects. >> i was just begging them for my life. >> reporter: this 29 year-old woman is shaken but thankful to be alive after a recent carjacking and robbery. we're concealing her identity because two suspects made off were not only her monday bye her identification. >> when my car hit the pavement of that gas station that night, i sad god, this is it, like i'm moving from the camera. there is no more camera after this. >> reporter: victim made a quick run to this gas station and convenient store at 69th street on, january 29th. just after 3:00 a.m. when she noticed two men hanging around the store she runs in, gets back to her car and surveillance video shows the two suspects, hopping into the front and back seat.
