we begin with breaking news, a very dangerous night for a philadelphia a police officer drag by a car in the overbrook section. that car then later crashes on lincoln drive. good morning it is sunday february 7th i'm rahel solomon. i'm jim donovan. we want more on this breaking news. reporter tim jimenes joins us from the phone. tim, good morning. >> they were towed from the site of the crash on lincoln drive but as we mentioned it all started 4 miles way in overbrook. the 60th and lancaster where a car dragged an officer that happened about 3:30 this morning. now police say that officer is fine, not the seriously hurt and within a half an hour of that happening investigators say that car was spotted at monument and city a avenue and

colder air. the teens and lower 20's at this hour, 22 in reading. good news in mount pocono they can fire snow guns with temperature of 5 degrees. here's storm scan three. we are protected by high pressure. clear skies at the moment but this storm system a across the carolinas, again, another coastal storm developing this one will head out to sea but it could be close enough to bring cloud later today in delaware and parts of the southern new jersey and then early tomorrow, maybe even a little bit of rain tries to get the in the coastal areas. i wouldn't be surprised if some rain or even wet snow breaks out across the shore points at sometime tomorrow afternoon. then we will watch this system dive down from southern canada and northern plains, bringing us snow showers through our forecast here in the the delaware valley. great looking super bowl day to day. out in san francisco santa clara kick off at 6:30. 66 degrees. perfect football conditions there in the sunshine. all right. we will bring it back home. here's one system that passes off the coast over the next 24 hours but close enough brushing the coast with some

rain and maybe a few few wet snow flakes. this is a storm we will to have watch. not a real strong storm but it has a lot of energy in the upper a atmosphere. the as that roles through it the will transfer that energy a along the coast and that will throw back chances for some snow especially late monday night and certainly tuesday morning. not expecting a whole lot but just off and on snow showers. light rain and snow develops late on monday, there is two systems we are watching. off and on snow showers on tuesday. could slow down the morning commute. we could wake up with a coating to an inch or so on the ground but light accumulations expect. maybe one to 3 inches of snow at the this point. here's one forecast model showing a generally one to 3-inch's across the delaware valley, lesser amounts closer to the coast better chance for some rain. as far as temperatures today well in the 40's. i wouldn't be surprised if we hit 50 in some spots. it does cool down in the lower 30's tonight. tomorrow noticeably colder with cloud and threat for rain in the afternoon. forecast, sunny, milder up
