hoeing toys day. >> reporter: it is called hoagies for hope, and this is the end result. you can see hundreds and hundreds of hoagies, being made today, to help those in need. all of the proceed will be going to families who are battling life threatening illnesses but let me get you you to the process. there is a dj here. hundreds of volunteers from the school, middle school, high school kid, family members, all here, volunteering, to make these hoagies this morning ape to prepare them for pick ups at the 10:00 a.m. i will get in on this action. christine, tribe the whole process because i will jump in here and help make a hoagie. >> jump right n we will start bypassing bread on down. they will put cheese on it, peppered ham, capicola and salami where you will jump in. then they top witt lettuce and tomato. >> reporter: so i will get in here with the crew. i got a good clean right-hand. i put hand sanitizer. there is a i plastic glove.

basketball game for clear view pioneers, right, right. >> yes. >> reporter: how do you you feel volunteering for such a good cause. >> i file so excited. i love helping, volunteering and getting hype for our game later. >> reporter: we have one twin sister, another twin sister, so, i mean we need to move this hoagie along because y'all, this is veggie queen right here they are getting order. how do you feel about doing this work. how many have you made today. >> a lot, so far. >> reporter: about 1600 hoagies being made this morning, a thousand were preordered. they are $10 for 22-inch hoagie and 600 will be for sale beginning at 10:00 a.m. a all to help families with life threatening illnesses, all part of the hoagies for hope at clear view high school. this is where the family part comes in and you are the wrapper, the wrapper and the slicer. >> yes, that is right. >> she's serious. very serious. all this again for a good cause, and for super bowl

airport 26. newark delaware. around philadelphia still below freezing at the airport and mullica, 28 in malvern and even colder to the north western suburbs. at least we're out of the teens right now, quakertown at 18 earlier this morning. up to 21. so a cold start to the the day but we're in sunshine right now, that will help warm things up, close to 50 degrees in some spots. watching that really two storm systems right now, here's first one across carolinas throwing back some snow inland off the coast. that will track out to sea but maybe close enough to parts of the south jersey to bring some rain and a few wet snow flakes mixed in during the afternoon. then we have this weak system right now, that will move south and east over the next 24 to 48 hours and then energize off the coast, as of right now it looks like it develops a little too late to be a major storm system but still we can see snow out of this we will talk about that in a bit. out in california, great day, in santa clara in the sunshine, at kick off 6:30 our time, 70 degrees, wow. great football weather, lucky

guys out there watching the game. back home though there is storm number one passing by over next 24 hearst bringing included to the coast. maybe light rain or snow mixed in during the day tomorrow afternoon. then focus turns to this system, it is a lot of energy in the jet stream moving south and east and then starting machine night we will see snow showers breaking out throughout the overnight. this could impact the tuesday morning commute, and it is not going to snow straight through, the time period, it is on and off snow showers around. storms transfer its energy tuesday but it is far off shore but enough moisture lingering around to have snow at times during the day tuesday. timing things out later machine night-light rain and snow develops monday and off and on snow showers on tuesday, overall accumulation should be on the lighter side but timing could be bad, again, possibly we have tuesday morning we are dealing with light snow falling to impact the morning commute. how much snow? well, generally within to 3 inches at this point. the storm hasn't formed yet so

especially heading out to get the last minute items for your super bowl party. the roadways every actually doing fine this morning. they are cooperating with us. this is schuylkill at south street, trafficking ago way from you in the eastbound lanes in delays on this portion of the the schuylkill and schuylkill looks fin through philadelphia and suburbs. if you are taking the schuykill, eastbound schuylkill heading in the philadelphia auto show watch out for delays on arch street at the convention center area, a lot of pedestrian traffic there as well, as folks do take public transportation and if you are telling public transportation this morning everything is honor close to schedule including septa, new jersey transit, and path the co high speed line. moving traffic come to i-95 at the platt right near stadiums and airport in delays are problems on i-95. the platt bridge is in great shape too the as well as all of the other area bridges. we will move the traffic cam one more time here to the mid county tolls of the pennsylvania turnpike. the as you are heading to the poconos, take advantage of some will cooler weather, in delays, or problems, on the pennsylvania turnpike or the northeast extension. and that is very latest from

and in about an hour. there were volunteers that participated. this is the italian hoagie room. there is another room with buffalo chicken and turkies are being made. all of this is to raise up to $5,000 to help families who are dealing with life threatening illnesses. one of those families is right here with me right now we have rose and cristina daily. they are one of three recipients of the money raise today. so they were actually out here volunteering. you rolled up your sleeves, you, christine, you have been here all morning dealing with this. tell me what does it feel like to be recipients of some of the fund here. >> so grateful that the school has opened up their hearts and helping with our granddaughter's medical issues. she has a lot to deal with and has had several operations, and has a lot more operations to go through. >> reporter: christine, you are one of the most positive

next storm system dives out of the northern plains and then just a snow chance monday night and tuesday. late are on monday, light rain and snow will start to develop. picks up in intensity late monday night. by tuesday morning there could be a accumulation to deal with for morning ride and then off and on snow showers during the day tuesday. it is not snowing, this entire time. you will get breaks during the day. so slow, morning commute is possible for tuesday, and overall accumulation spending on the light side for the most par. more nuisance type deal. here's the storm, number one passing off the coast maybe brushing south injuries which precipitation, monday afternoon we are in the break. west of the shoreline and then monday night and here are snow showers that develop with that system coming from the northern plains and then off and on snow showers tuesday morning into tuesday night. again in the a big organized system as this storm is developing too late off shore at this point. not much snow potentially. this model showing a general one to 3-inch snow fall maybe
