however, it is not the same animal this time. we start things offer with a look at the maps, once more the same zoom on storm scan showing coastal storm brinking in prime airily ran off shore from new jersey but as we see it closer and closer to dawn, see the rain turn over to snow. really it is just ocean county barrier island getting hit by the light rain. eventually nudges far enough inland many of you do end up with t the rest of the region just some clouds for the rest of today. however storm two comes along here, so there is the first one rain and snow showers, coastal new jersey today. then that next system comes along. at this point calling it light intermittent snow, through the whole day. one to 3 inches likelihood, question marks remain with this, it does appear it could be more robust than this initial indication simply because woe might get nice little surge of moisture, little pocket that pushes through as the day goes on. so there is a chance, at

announcement column you go up on 6:03. >> in other news, sentencing day for the bucks county woman accused of attacking. >> kathryn knott escaped the most brutal charge. outside the courthouse with more on the possible punishment she faces today, justin, good morning. >> reporter: erika, jim, good morning, the last we saw kathryn knott she was leaving court here back in december after being found guilty on four misdemeanor charges linked to the september 2014 center city attack. she's due to return to court today, to learn her fate. >> cornered by cameras, and media, 25 year old catherine night not left court last december, to wait for this february day. when a judge hands down her sentence. knott of southampton bucks county was found guilty of lesser charges, for her role in center city clash that left two gay men badly beaten back in september 2014. jurors found knott guilty of conspiracy, simple assault, and reckless endangerment,

found her not guilty of two felony assault charges. on decision day, jurors and knott's lawyer were vocal about the verdict and the case. >> in her mind she just had no idea why she was there because she saw nothing wrong with what she did. >> there isn't a fiber of her being that is homophobic. >> of the three defendant, knott is the only one who brought her case to trial. philip williams and kevin harrigan also from bucks county pleaded guilty, and took plea deals for probation and community service and are banned from the city during that period. >> it is wrong, nothing right about it from beginning to ends. >> again, knott due back in court later today. no word if she will face jail time or take a plea deal as well. live here in center city, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". thank you very much, justin. >> we have breaking news just into our news room. we are checking out a large police scene in chester. where a woman says two of her

>> look at storm scan3, tracking snow for tomorrow. >> we will check in with katie, a loft kits out there hoping for snow day tomorrow. what do you think. >> it will be tricky. i would say you have the better shot to actually see maybe early dismissal, or maybe some after-school concellations, that kind of thing. because we are dealing with all day event, of what looks to be intermittent relatively light snow. but because you have so much time to accumulate, that is where you will get better chance to see that happen. let's break it all down. looking at the wide zoom, two separate systems, folks, pretty decent rotation too with the coastal storm system. see the center of circulation very well represented on the satelite still spinning moisture into the coastal areas specifically, rest every us just clouds. this guy, however, that's going to move east. and with time, snow showers eventually pick up for our area. now, that said, we are going to see winter storm watch take effect later tonight, southern tear of the delaware valley included, the cut off ocean, burlington, philadelphia, delco and chester counties. on south. that lasts us through late in

the day tomorrow. now, we could end up with locally 6 inches every snow, new castle county over portions every samuel, cumberland, delco, depending where the edges goes, might sigh high totals three, 4 inches around philadelphia county. all will pan out once it gets here obviously. school is on inch maybe for couple every delays simply because of the coastal system dealing with now, so wife gave it solid b. more clouds than sunshine as we sit between systems, that second system starts to move in with snow showers as early as tonight, that snow will be with us, all day tomorrow. talking possibility, throughout the entire day, and it could even link near early wednesday morning, before totally gone. so, all of that light snow, it will add up eventually.

rescues ers finding survivors two days after powerful earthquake. two survivors were pulled to safety from toppled highrise apartment build, one a woman found shielded under her husband's body. this 6.4 magnitude quake struck saturday killing at least 36 people. more than 100 people remain missing. the disaster struck during the most important family holiday in the chinese calendar, the lunar new year. some frightening moments in bucks count when three young boys almost died falling through frozen pond. it happened yesterday afternoon, at piper's place off highland drive in chalfont. eyewitnesses say those boys were walking on the pond when the ice suddenly cracked, sending them plunging into the frigid water. "eyewitness news" spoke to a woman who called 911. >> one of them was struggling to get out of the water, and an adult had gone into the water to try to help him out. he did after a few minutes, get out.
