we're following breaking news this noon. a former eagle back in philadelphia and reportedly in hot water after a bar brawl. and this was real now ordinary brawl, either. a police report claims shady and his friends attacked two police officers. good afternoon, i'm erika von tiehl. details about this are still coming in, reportedly happened this past weekend that fight. we check in with greg argos live for just sold city with more information. >> good afternoon, erika can

confirm the philadelphia police department investigating. >> former lesean mccoy, and curtis brinkly, two of their friends assaulted office duty police officers during fight here early sunday morning, covered g to the police report with cbs-3 "eyewitness news" obtained through sours close to the investigation, two off duty philadelphia police officers one off duty sergeant ordered four bottles of champagne, part of the bottle service at the club, one delivered to the officer's table one of the cops then moved to different location with it. that's when a member of mccoy's group allegedly tried grabbing it from the officer's hand and a fight broke out. the police report states mccoy, brinkly and that two other friend all attacked the officer pushing him to the grounds and punching, kicking, stomping his body and head multible times. the other officers and security officers from the club tried breaking up the fight. one of the cops, the report says, drove himself toll

delaware county memorial hospital with a cut to his right eye, broken nose, broken ribs, and a sprained thumb. another officer went to hahnemann university medical center, needing eight stitches over his left eye, and is currently being treated for a possible fractured skull, actually, told by the of the officers have been released from the hospital. >> states arrest warrant being prepared pending decision in the district attorney's office. until the meantime, i did reach out to mccoy's agent, drew rosen house, who responded via e-mail with this, quote, no comment at this time. it is also interesting to point out that curtis brinkly was shot multiple times in cheltenham back in 20,009. much more of that part of the story as well as the investigation into this alleged brawl here at this night club in old city, coming up tonight, at 5:00 and 6:00 of course and cbs-3 "eyewitness news". for now live in old city, i'm greg argos, cbs-3 "eyewitness

news". >> greg, thank you. sore bye the little digital problem there. coastal flooding is causing headaches in some parts of the jersey shore. three over absecon, tidal flooding along absecon boulevard left roadways, parking lots under several inches of water. >> and, from flooding to this. here we go again. tracking snow on storm scan3, another winter storm is set to bring more snow to our area. so we're wouldn't they are noon what casino of punch will this pack, katy? big fan of sandwiches but not a snow sandwich. >> yes, and you know the first system thankfully more of coastal issue, at least, you know, certainly caused problems down there, but the entire region wasn't involved in it. that said there is another on the way, that's the one that will have little more widespread impact, however, we've got really well defined storm system to track here, the one that was affecting the coast with the flooding we showed you moment ago, we turn our focus first, start it off with a view of storm scan3. look at that really well defined center of circulation out over the open ocean water. lead to certainly more every new england issue, but here at

the local level, you're finding is retreating system at this point. so we had winter weather advisory is going to be out of effect here in a matter of say about an hour or so, but at the moment things are calm and collected. doesn't stay that way folks. we take you outside here to live look at "skycam 3", current conditions currently being reported at philadelphia international airport over top of this. it is sort of the proverbial calm before the storm. the storm that's on the way, i wouldn't call it the biggest and baddest storm we've ever seen, but going to see enough out of it that it prompts a winter storm watch. more than anything, because it is a prolonged system. starting late tonight, and lasting the watch anyway until late tuesday night. so you have got at least 24 hour window, for snow to come n now we will talk much more about what this system has up its sleeve, time it out, all of that good stuff. bullet points, intermit ebbet snow is the general expectation to too far visibility, travel, tomorrow in general, you will need extra time to get to your destination like i said much more on this storm, in my full

forecast, you want to stick around for that, err display. >> thank you, track the snow and the forecast any time by download g the free cbs philly weather app. it is available on itunes and google play. delaware county authorities are now investigating what led to a chase and ended with an officer involved shooting and in chester overnight. police say two men were shot around 2:00 a.m. on the 1200 block of keystone road. a bullet riddled suv remained at the scene for hours this morning. , "eyewitness news" spoke to family, to the family of the men who were inside that vehicle. they tell us the two were cousins, and they were being chased by police just before officers opened fire. family members of one of the men who was killed and the other was injured. >> right now, i'm just like hurt, hurt, the fact that my children and son got killed and my son is in the hospital. i don't know what's going on. >> at least one window on the block was shattered by stray

bullets. there were no other reported injuries. and no word yet on why police were pursuing those men, or what caused officers to shoot. >> in just a few hours, at 3:00 p.m., sentencing is scheduled for kathryn knott, she is the bucks county woman found guilty in a attack on a gay couple in center city a jury convicted the 25 year old in december on four misdemeanors including wreckless endangerment and conspiracy. prosecutors said knott and two male friends used slurs to spark the violence back in september 2014. those two male friends accepted probation as part of a plea bargain. knott could also get probation or a jail term today. all right, shifting gears here, denver is celebrating a superbowl championship today and tomorrow the city stages a parade for their champion broncos. >> ♪ >> ♪ >> ♪

>> lady gaga kicking off that game with the national anthem. she did it in the very patriots i can red, white and blue, red eye shadow, blue fingernails, just did great job singing, as well. >> ♪ >> chris martin the bands cold play headlined the superbowl 50 half time show. got a little help there from beyonce and bruno mars. the rocking half time was quite a change from the marching band that performed at the first superbowl 50 years ago. >> all right, let's take a look at the game here, superbowl mvp vaughn miller hit cam newton in the first quarter and newton fumbled in the end zone. the broncos recovered for the first touchdown of the game. that toughed defense and quarterback peyton manning kept the high powered panthers at bay the rest of the game. broncos won their third superbowl in franchise history 24 to ten.

>> now, superbowl 3mvp joe nameth, he brought the vince lombardi trophy through the jubilant broncos there, team executives and superbowl winner john elway hoisted the trophy to the light of levi stadium crowd. and quarterback, peyton manning, got his hands on it, too, there is some talk peyton may retire after winning his second super both title v to wait and see. >> thousands of broncos fans spilled into downtown streets after the final play. police say that the celebration got a little out every hands sometimes and they made 12 arrests. they say that's actually fewer arrests than during the celebrations after the broncos first two superbowl wins. that was in 1998 and 1999. >> and the broncos could not have won the game without the contributions every local athlete. brandon mcmahon -- mcmannus, celebrates with the trophy right there. mcmannus is from lansdale montgomery county and went to north penn high school and temple university. he kicked three field goals in

yesterday's superbowl and finished post-season a perfect ten for ten. >> another local player panthers wide receiver philly brown left sunday day's game with a concussion. brown went up high for long pass, from cam newton, and left the game shortly thereafter. brown was carolina's leading receive her he left the game late in the third quarter with four receptions for 80 yards, including a 42-yard reception, that put the panthers in scoring position. and of course big part of the superbowl can't forget about the superbowl commercials. >> you're the guy taking my little girl out? >> yep. >> you know, why don't you go ahead and take my new car. >> thanks, pop. come on, baby. >> ♪ >> oh, this is a funny one, philly's own kevin hart starring as meddling dad in a carried. coming up see more commercials

also hit the campaign trail early, in a tight race for second place, along with bush and marco rubio, who is trying to recover from a rocky debate performance over the weekend. the florida senator insisted did he great, despite criticism for being repetitive. >> i think the evidence is we raised more money in the first hour that far debate than we did in any other debate. >> towns across the granite state are decked out just like this, as campaign scrambled for last minute support, in all, candidates from both sides have at least 35 scheduled events today. >> we have come a long way in the last nine months. >> the latest pole shows bernie sanders leading in new hampshire, not just among men but women too hoping to close that gap, hillary clinton got support from former secretary of state, madeline albright. >> there is a special place in hell for women who don't help each other. >> all the candidates are hoping for help from mother nature, too, snow is in the forecast, and it could impact

all right, depending on if you are the parent or the kid either excited or not pumped about the snow coming our way. >> exactly, but ears are peck, right? so we've got snow on the way, actually going to be moving in even as early as late tonight. so we'll track that for you coming up here. this is prolonged event, also, a week event. so i'm not specking major snow totals out of this. but what we are going to see certainly is another headache of a storm system. it will not be like what we saw at the end of january, we ended up with 2 feet of snow. but we are going to see quite a bit of time before this thing gets out of here. so we start things first and for most out to the radar, 22

separate systems to track, first pulling away, very nice rotation, we meteorologists just geek out at this stuff. beautiful looking storm, but, it is causing quite a bit of headache across new england. meanwhile here is the one that will have the impact on us tonight into tomorrow. it is not, i mean, definately has some organization, but just not as well defined, what we ends up fighting out of this is more scattered, spotty, off and on snow showers, that move through our area starting tonight lasting us through tomorrow. here's how it all shakes out pattern wise, that little guy will roll on through bringing light snow temperatures generally speaking into the mid or upper 30s, through the day tomorrow. see lingering flurries, as the system makes its full retreat. behind it it will turn very, very cold. tail end of the week barely see the temperatures break out of the 30's or 20's, this weekend. i am liking it more and more with every model run, but early in the day, wasn't so

keen on it, liking it better and better. tonight, starting to see some snow showers begin to pick up here from west to east it, will start to move in. becoming little bit more widespread, in its coverage. however, it is somewhat spotty in nature off and on, scattered, you get the idea. notice this area though, just southwest of philadelphia. looks like sweet spot of heavier moisture pushing in. may even be few peaks every sunday along the way tomorrow. bottom line, it is a long event, long event, 24 hours, so here is our exclusive snowfall map. generally speaking one to 3 inches, sweet spot sets up, as it is suggesting, guidance, may ends up with half foot. that's prolonged over say 24 plus hours, so a long window for that to accumulate. so the road should be able to handle it and certainly crews out there doing their thing. we talked about the flooding earlier in the show, kind of
