disorganized, very difficult to pin opinion down. it is not a cut and dry kind of storm not your state of the art clipper, it is not your basic nor'easter. this is a big advancing trough, in the upper a atmosphere, big upper level storm. you can see rain and snow showers but notice looking back to the west how scattered this all is in nature. there is rain, snow, and there are some breaks in the action, a as well. as this all advances east, what will happies a new low will develop, just off new jersey shoreline. that will throw moisture and some banding snow, back into our region. the most likely time for that to happen will be later tomorrow. so anything that we see overnight tonight will be what you saw to the west, these light scattered rain and snow showers starting late tonight and tomorrow morning, with generally mod's accumulations but this ace i long duration event. so lets start with the near term. we will start with tonight. a at 9:00 we will see light snow showers across the region, temperatures will be dropping, so this could lead to light accumulations overnight. here's midnight. not a lot but may wake up to

some accumulating snow on the ground perhaps around an inch by early tomorrow morning. the notice down the shore at 5:00 a.m. mild enough we will see rain mixing in. that will limit the problems on the roads, i am concerned though for the p.m., potential at least for slippery spots especially on sedentary roads, and untreated surfaces and elevated surfaces tomorrow morning. very light in nature. another thing to worry about is coastal flooding. we have a few more high tides to get through. one late are this evening and another one heading in the day tomorrow. coastal flood watches, warnings, advisories have have been posted through tuesday evening, and we do expect the worst of the high tides coastal flooding to be early tomorrow morning. overnight into tuesday we will look for snow. heaviest snow late tomorrow evening into tomorrow night. temperatures will drop enough it could accumulate on the roads, untreated surfaces, slick, low visibility, watch for slow commutes a.m. and p.m. tomorrow, give yourself plenty of extra time. we will break down that winter storm warning and tell you how much snow you can expect where

"eyewitness news" reporter greg argos shows us video of the an alleged incident, greg. >> reporter: ukee that video shows the chaos in the club in olde city where two philadelphia off-duty police officers seriously hurt allegedly at the hands of lesean shady mccoy. this is video of recess lounge in olde city. as a fight broke out early sunday morning. >> when there becomes an altercation over a bottle of champagne. >> reporter: that fight is between an off-duty philadelphia cop and four other suspects. the sources say all four are football players. one is former eagles running back lesean shady mccoy. >> four on one is what i'm told in terms of punching and knock being him on the ground and then they begin to beat him and stomp him, kick him. >> reporter: right now no

warrants have have been issued so police are not the releasing suspect names but cbs-3 "eyewitness news" obtained police report name mccoy, curtis brinkly and two of their friend, as suspects. >> the first complaintant sustained some very, very severe injuries in terms of, his eye socket, broken nose, broken ribs, and hand injury and other injuries. >> reporter: second off-duty officer at the club with the other victim tried helping his friend and was also injured. >> laceration above the eye as well as possible skull fracture. so, very, very serious situation. >> reporter: police are waiting to see whether or not, the district attorney issued an arrest warrants. >> individuals have been identified. in one has been questioned at this point in time n1 has been brought in for any interviews. over a bottle of champagne, that is an issue, go buy another bottle. >> reporter: mccoy currently plays for buff le bills, this afternoon, the team tweeting a statement we are aware of the reports regarding lesean mccoy and we are in the process of

gathering more information. we will not provide any further comment at this time. now mccoy's agent drew rosenhaus declined comment in an e-mail to me this morning. we are live in olde city, greg argos for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a bucks county woman quick for her role in a 2014 attack on a gay couple in center city learned her fate today. twenty-five year-old catherine not the not it was sentenced to five to ten months behind bars plus two years probation. she was immediately taken into custody. a jury quick knott the in december on four misdemeanor charges including conspiracy, simple assault and reckless endangerment. two co-defendants pleaded guilty last october in exchange for probation, and community service. delaware county investigators are looking into a pursuit that ended with police involved shooting in chester. police say two men were shot around 2:00a in m on the 1200 block of keystone road. while they had yet to release anymore information about the incident, "eyewitness news" spoke to the family of the the

a serious bus crash injures dozen of people in madison, connecticut. bus was traveling through a snowstorm on i-95 when it lost control and rolled over. at least 30 people were hurt, six chris thecally. the bus was on its way to the sun casino from new york city. it is unclear if the snowstorm

i don't know fit is jet stream or not. >> jet stream does have something to to with this. we have cold air moving in. we have got coastal moisture. we are going to get the some snow. this is a very tough system to pinpoint. it is not your typical winter storm. it is like trying to pin opinion down a thunderstorm in the summer when you have showers and thunderstorms move through you get convective rainfall. some spots could get an inch or two, other spots don't get much at all. some spots will be in the bull's eye of heavy snow. only time we will know is when heavy snow starts to fall. all they we can pinpoint it to a certain extent. lets look at is what happening right now. we will go outside palmyra cove nature park in new jersey looking out over the city. it is a glummy evening. a few breaks of sun tried to peak out. we have kept it the dry, kind of in the middle of to second storms. one producing heavy snow in new england. for thaws brushed the coast last night. you can see cloud in place the at the moment but take a peak is what heading our way. this large trough and jet stream, big bowling ball of cold air low pressure moving

through the great lakes and portions of the midwest and mid south, you can see snow showers, rain showers, notice how the scattered in nature this is. this is not a big storm moving through that we're used to seeing. what this is is a trough of low pressure and transfer some energy to the coast and where that banding sets up, where that moisture gets thrown back as we head through tonight and especially into testimony evening, that is going to turn in the bull's eye of heavier snow. we have got other problems at play here namely temperatures are marginal. we are in the 40's right now, pavement is relatively warm, so even a as the snow comes down overnight it will stick to some secondary road and elevated untreated surfaces. main road, you saw them, they are treated, they are doing a great job. main road should object kay overnight. 42 degrees in the city 467891 in millville. forty in wilmington. mid 30's at the moment down the shore. here is your winter alerts. the winter storm warning is the area in pink here. that southern montgomery and bucks counties, chester, philadelphia, delaware county, lancaster county that is northern two thirds of the delaware and all of south jersey in, a winter storm,

light intermittent snow all day but now there is support that tomorrow evening into tomorrow night heavier banding could set up across portions of our area leading to enhanced snowfall rates. what you are seeing is a big upper low travel across great lakes, mid-atlantic, mid south, rain across portions of the carolinas. snow showers back over ohio, west virginia and those are heading in our direction heading in to tonight. not much happening just yet but we expect this to move in shortly throughout the overnight hours. it will stay light tonight into tomorrow. worst of this storm likely tomorrow evening but again this is a long duration system with snow on and off throughout the day tomorrow. heavy band if they do set up, likely tomorrow evening into tomorrow night. winter weather alerts, area in the bright pink color is a winter storm warning in effect from midnight to early wednesday morning. it does include philadelphia, southern bucks, montgomery counties, chester, delaware counties, northern delaware and much of south jersey as well in that warning. advisories issued for

legislative proposal to congress to resource both research on vaccine and diagnostics. >> reporter: in addition to vaccine research and diagnostic testing the money will will help try to control the mosquito population in vulnerable areas such as puerto rico, hawaii, florida and texas. >> this is done in close collaboration, there are classic way to control vectors, insecticides, cleaning up the environment. >> reporter: virus has been link to the rare birth defect known as microcephaly which causes head and brain abnormalities. the government has issued a travel warning for zika, affected area but not a travel ban. >> we're not canceling spring break. we are telling people who are pregnant you may not wanting to. >> reporter: white house says it is expecting congress to act quickly to pass the funds. >> this falls in the the category of things that shouldn't break down along party lines, democrats, republicans should reasonably understand that resources to confront a public health challenge like this, it is something that merits a serious response from the u.s.

washington. i'm jessica dean. winter storm warning will go into effect in a few hours but first we will get over to meet will role goodies kate bilo who has her eye on the storm, kate. >> jessica and ukee this is an interesting system because it is a two rounds of winter weather we are tracking here. starting tonight into tomorrow morning and as this system moves through an up are low it is a clipper system tracking from the great lakes and midwest and swing through tonight with generally scattered light the snowfall, that will be tonight into tomorrow morning. another round of snow will approach tomorrow afternoon and evening, and that could be the heaviest of the snow that we get. this system this morning brushed the coast and still producing heavy snow across coastal new england. that is moving away but still have all of those waves battering the coastline, and we are still seeing the risk for coastal flooding occur true the next hour or so as we head toward another high tides down the shore, that will continue into tomorrow morning as yet another coastal low develops. there is a lot going on here.
