sickness at ursinus college. stomach issues have affect hundred students there 20 students have sought treatment at hospital or urgent care centers. the school voluntarily closed cafeteria and snack back but the source of the sickness remains unclear. >> by the end of the day we're hoping that at least both of the dining facilities will be cleaned, we have also, spent some special attention in residential areas and high traffic area on campus for cleaning purposes as well. >> the campus medical director first saw evidence of the sickness yesterday, and says that it is likely the result of the fast action of the virus, and in close quarters. we now, know that, one of the two. >> and, at lehigh university. and memo sent from the, and, got the virus after traveling abroad. they say the student has recovered. health officials in delaware say the one case there is mild, and would the man the got it when she was traveling to an area where the virus is

spreading. new doctors say that the science behind the virus continues to evolve. >> we are hoping to understand the full spectrum of this virus, in particular, it's affect on pregnant woman or perhaps even the mode of transmission. >> reporter: zika virus is spread by mosquitoes and it is being called a public health crisis in central and south america and caribbean. biggest concern is to pregnant woman. turning to weather, the snow is gone but now the arctic blast. we will be dealing with some very frigid temperatures. meteorologist kate bilo is on the the sky deck, kate. >> reporter: you can feel the difference outside. right now colder air begins to move in on a westerly wind, wind picking up making it feel like the much better than teens and 20's right now and over weekend it will feel like single digits if not sub zero. lets look at the radar. we will show you a loop, a line of snow showers that intensify briefly right there and then moved out. that system did not want to let go of our area but it has moved out completely now.

as you can see there is a front moving through great lakes bringing flurries and lake effect snow showers, nothing more than a few flakes outside tonight at the cold air coming n bigger story is the drop in temperature, 33 right now in philadelphia, 30 degrees in reading, just 28 in lancaster. wind about 15 to 20 miles an hour, making it feel like in better than lower 20's. right now feeling like 16 in lancaster. thank you to that new fresh snow cover they got a lot of snow from that last system. our first front comes through overnight tonight with a few flurries but secondary front this one right here, that swings through friday night into saturday morning, that is the one that is keeping the coldest air locked up behind it, once the flood gates open saturday morning we are in for a brutally cold, and weekend, from late saturday into sunday it may feel sub zero. we will have more wind chills and just how cold it gets this weekend when i join you inside. for now back over to you. new developments in the assault investigation

involving former eagle lesean mccoy. sources close to the investigation believe charges are imminent. cell even if video could be used as evidence against mccoy. authorities say that it shows him and three of his friends in a weekend brawl at the recess lounge in olde city. two off-duty philadelphia police officers were injured. the district attorney's office is deciding whether or not charge the former eagles running back no arrests have been made. in new jersey, police make an arrest after determining an apartment fire was an act of arson. investigators say artist bryant set the fire at chestnut lane apartments yesterday morning. he is charged with aggravated arson and other crimes. the bryant is being held on $100,000 bail. and now new at 6:00 a black lives matter banner disappears from outside a cherry hill church. as "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco tells you the church is disappointed but hoping attention will promote discussion. >> reporter: from the pulpit to these pews at unit

universalis t church in cherry hill sunday morning is your mondays turn to national issues. >> our church has had conversation about racial just advertise and how we could be part of the helping make a better world, frankly. one way to do that is for our mostly white congregation to affirm the black lives matter and should math inner our community. >> reporter: reverend christian schmidt wears a black lives matter button as do many in his 300 member congregation. >> we are saying black lives need to matter as much as anyone elses. >> reporter: tuesday morning a black lives manner banner promoting the upcoming community discussion went missing. >> sadly i was not surprised. i was kind of expecting something like this at some point. >> i'm saddened that i even had to anticipate that it was probably going to happen. >> reporter: someone stole the banner sometime overnight. the church called police but disappointed church members like joe green, says that only highlights the problem. >> i would love to know why and i would like to talk to them about why they dit.

health issues school can be a nightmare, every day is a struggle and it causes an alarming amount of absenteeism. well, is there an alternative. >> you are making better decisions when you breathe. >> yes. >> reporter: seventeen year-old eva headu is learning how to cope with anxiety and depression with mindfulness therapy during her school day. traditional high school got so stressful that she didn't want to live anymore. >> girl drama, and all that stuff, it was just a lot for me. it was in the a very good place. >> reporter: four months ago she came to transition is a contacted my only program in south jersey geared to help students with anxiety disorder. >> we think having a small program, a lot of therapy, helps them start to open up and really, be excited about learning. >> reporter: transitions turned simon michaels life around. he is on the dean's list at muhlenburg college but high school was a struggle. >> it was upsetting to me and my parents.

they sometimes felt like they lost control. i thought i might not graduate from high school. >> reporter: sean spent a year at transitions learning to manage his anxiety and social awkwardness. he was able to go back to high school ape graduate after 12th grade. >> he got an award of peoples choice award in 11th grade. >> instead of giving me schooling, it gave me social interactions that i needed. >> reporter: at transitions there are small classes, lots of individual help and therapy. is there even regular yoga all to give students mindfulness skills to better manage anxiety. >> kid have problems, i'm still normal. i'm doing much better here. it is a great place. i love it here. it is amazing. >> reporter: she was really terrific. school district pays tuition for students with anxiety disorder who can't cope in traditional classrooms so students have to be referred. average length of stay at transitions is about a year as name implies, the program helps students transition through their emotional issues so they can get back to more

traditional classrooms. the kids i met there were really relieved to have that kind of an option for them. >> interesting, great thing. >> making a huge difference. stephanie, thanks very much. catholics around the world are marking the beginning of the lent today on ash wednesday. >> many celebrated mass, in center city. as 25 or 30 miles an hour that will make our highs only in the upper 20's, feel more like the upper teens. now friday may in the feel as harsh as tomorrow because the wind do die down a little bit but another front reenforcing shot of cold air will blast through friday night into saturday morning and that is when real cold hits and the wind really pick up on saturday. than they we are in the 20's it feels like single digits. the here's that piece of cold air in the polar region. tilt the globe. this is today. watch this piece of cold as it sinks southward and heads in the weekend. we will get cold to drop down over northeastern united states. by middle of next week we may see that back off but we're talking about air directly from the arctic region, heading south in the north east. here's what it will feel like sunday morning. this is worst part of the cold stretch. in the poconos it fels like 20 to 25 degrees below zero. lehigh valley 15 to 20 degrees below zero. here in philly at will feel like ten to 15 degrees below
