the weather sent, have your eye on the storm, what a changer. >> absolutely, and we've been watching not just mild air move in here but also we had ice issues, then we had snow obviously yesterday. now just dealing with straight up rain note the worse rolling through at high nine, will be with us for at least the next couple of hours, but we take you outside, show you what's happening first and for most from cambell's field camera, obviously skewed by all of the wet weather and certainly the poor visibility that's out here overlooking the ben franklin bridge a lot more difficult now, to storm scan3, the tighter zoom, look at the line set up here at the moment, we're not seeing any lightning strikes on this loop. this is some serious convergence going on with the winds flow, really helping to get some up lift going, and lot of wet weather pushing through the area, that line, in fact, right, there through delaware, and portions of

chester county is actually responsible, in a place like coatesville, for almost a quarter or rather a one and three quarters inch rainfall rate per hour. so, it is moving through at least. not necessarily going to find that much. falling at any given second, but definitely dealing with very heavy rainout of this. moving forward, significant climb, on the thermometer through the last couple of hours here, we started off hovering near freezing early in the morning, then we just sky rocketed flirted continue to flirt with 60 degrees this hour, quick peak at this current temperatures what you will notice, we are almost at 06 in philly, in trenton, in millville and the list goes on, rest of the day will feature heavy rain for the next couple of hours, isolated storms, ponding on roads you bet you, poor visibility, already seen examples of that, and unfortunately, river and creek flooding a concern. but thankfully winding down as

police say says suspect tries to rob but tries to run and shot in the arm. >> fifteenth and low cut, broad and locust, known for businesses, known for theatres, very safe area. very rare for someone to get shot. ninth district police called to locust street before 1:00 a.m. for the shooting. they followed a trail of blood to broad and sansom, found the 38 year old bleeding heavily, tape taken to hahnemann hospital in critical condition. >> apparently the bullet struck him in the right arm, struck an artery because he lost a lot of blood. >> central detectives spent the morning processing the scene. they found one spent shell casing, from a semiautomatic weapon. they're now also searching for surveillance video, at this time unknown what the suspect got away with, but the victim is expected to survive, but they say this easily could have ended much differently. >> any time someone approaches you, with a gun, or a knife,

>> rainy weather made for messy travel conditions. spring guards earn earlier today. katie fehlinger will have the latest on the rainy weather coming up in about ten minutes for you. check this out. severe winds in south florida caused major damage. look at the palm trees there. wow there is video just in from miami, and you can see just how strong the winds were. storm caused downed power lines, blew beach chairs all over, capsized boats. there are reports after tornado in miami, although, officials have not yet confirmed that. >> now, that same storm system that brought tornados to other parts of the south including mississippi and alabama, that's what you are looking at right here, more than dozen homes have been destroyed. in in mississippi windows blown out of cars and the roof of school was damaged. at least 16 tornados reported across the south monday. there have been reports, have not been reports, rather, of any death or serious injuries from that severe weather. pope francis continues his tour of mexico today, in a city known for drug violence in recent years.

>> anyway, i digress. this is from 5:00 yesterday, snow covered street out here in williamstown, new jersey, meanwhile, now, or at least this morning, what he woke up to, completely different scene it, does look like some spring showers rolled on through. but, that's because we saw such a surge on the thermometer teach 2:00 and 3:00 this morning, we saw surge of 17 degrees in philadelphia, now it is just all rain, plane rain, but very heavy rain. and there is at least back edge to it, but next couple of hours are going to be engulfed with heavy rain and some wind. these are your current sustained wind speeds. it is basically straight up out of the south. see this sort of convergence going on here, actually the frontal boundery pushing through right now, but that's why you are seeing so much up lift take place here, because of the converging winds, and that's allowing rain to fall as herly as it is, walking through future weather, when you see orange, reds, yellows show up on radar, radar 101 as i like to say, in other words,

heavy rainfall intensity, now, evening by three pretty much done. have a chance to dry things out. drying out as well. does appear as a lot of what may still be damp has a chance to actually dry out before refreezing overnight which will be helpful. right? future rain ability, how much are we talking? generally to up about an inch or so. >> look at the difference in the temperature, mount pocono over the last 24 hours, the temperature change from this same time yesterday, to now 40 gross warmer, unreal, visibility are reduced, all, you know, of course all evidence here outside palmyra cove nature park. barely see what's off in the distance also getting skewed by the tell tell signs of the raindrops here on the camera lens. that said, once we get rid of the rain, we are in for just some quieter weather here later tonight. still breezy, and then, beyond that point, it is to stays much that way.
