live from feasterville, cleve? >> reporter: the tree removal process just got going in the last hour, this giant crane arrived and it is picking up big chunks of the tree and actually lifting it over the house. they have a portion right now of the tree, it is a really, really, big tree, probably comparable to the one you see to the the right of your screen. the ground here is absolutely saturated, between the rain and the snow melt, and when wind whipped up early this afternoon it was a recipe for near disaster. >> just smash everything out. >> reporter: back of the raymond engel's home is on the verge of collapse after high wind and soggy soil caused a large tree to crash down like a clever and basically corner the house. >> i watched the tree, i looked at it, checking it, started to go over and i said to myself here it goes. and i was probably ten, 15 feet a away from where it actually hit.
