operation inside of the garage of a pediatrician, and rehabilitation center, doctor. >> one of the fire fighters, while doing a room to room search, found two rooms that had been converted, for the purpose of growing marijuana. >> there were ventilation systems, warm lights, heat warming pads, in addition to that numerous gardening equipment. >> reporter: police say five five-year old doctor jane wilderman whose offices is on bustleton avenue in philadelphia is charged with growing and distribution of the pot plants. after the fire department found two growing rooms in his garage. two weeks ago fire fighters were called to this house after a car caught fire in the driveway and spread to the home. >> he is a doctor's doctor. he is there for his patients, 24/7. he treats them both medically and who will particularly. he treats the whole person. people love him. >> reporter: his attorney, lewis busi theco said he needs

will start march next week like a lion and a lamb, perhaps. i'll explain when i join you inside, back to you. well, teenage vandals pull an expensive prank in one delaware county community, delaware community but residents say this is no laughing matter. a neighbor reported three teens slashing tires overnight on west 11th and juniper street in the washington park section of new castle. "eyewitness news" reporter anita oh tells us why this may be a tough one to crack. >> it is a shame, it makes me angry. >> reporter: while their punctured tires laid flat. >> this car, truck and car behind you, have two flat tires, four tiles total. >> reporter: emotions are inflating for some neighbors in new castle. >> they go around, and hurting peoples cars. then we have to pay for it. >> reporter: all four of these car tires have been slashed, police say 18 cars in this neighborhood were vandalized overnight. now car owners on 11th and juniper streets are holding the bills for repairs. in total. >> damage is probably four to

$5,000. >> reporter: on police say 1:30 friday morning a neighbor reported seeing three teenage boys slashing tires of the new castle county police car. from there they found tire after tire, all ought of air. >> new castle county k-9 assisted and tried to track whereabouts of these three suspects unsuccessfully unfortunately. >> reporter: but he believes his porch motion light stopped vandals from taking a knife to his tires but he is not stopping there. >> surveillance cameras, they will be up this weekend. >> it is ridiculous. these people have to go to work first thing in the morning they come out and their tires are slash. >> reporter: if caught suspects face myths chief and fines. anyone with any information should call new castle city police. in delaware anita oh for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". we have an update on the health scare at shore medical center in somers point, new jersey. the authorities say pharmacist accused of stealing pain medications and putting more than 200 patients at risk for hiv and hepatitis has been in

trouble before. back in 2002 the state ordered fredrick mcleash to surrender his license for stealing pain medication from cvs. his license was reinstated in 2004. in 2006, pennsylvania placed mcleash object probation for two years, for unspecified infractions. authorities near wichita, kansas are investigating a work place shooting that has left three people dead and 14 others were injured. as cbs correspondent manual, reports, police killed the suspect during the attack and new is there more information being revealed about his possible motevation. the. >> reporter: police in kansas say should go sus pick cedric ford was served with production from a abuse order in the factory where he work 90 minutes before he opened up fire. >> he didn't display anything that was outrageous. he just display that he was upset that he was getting this order. >> reporter: ford, who had a criminal record, left work after getting the order, and

first opened fire from his car, hitting someone in the vehicle, he then shot another driver, and stole their car before heading back, to the excel plant. >> shooter at excel industries. >> reporter: ford shot one person in the parking lot and another 14, inside of the building, before an officer gun him down. the unidentified officer is being called a hero. >> he had to stop that threat. you've got two or 300 people in there, and luckily two or 300 people came out. >> reporter: relatives rush to the factory after hearing about the shooting. >> one couple was reunited as cameras were rolling. police say ford was armed with an assault rifle and a automatic handgun, investigators are trying to figure out how a suspect with the criminal record was able to get those weapons. manual, cbs news, heston, kansas. ford had convictions for multiple burglaries, fleeing from police and disorderly

the afternoon and we have great photos from our weather watchers, ed connor sent this one, still flooding, near chesterfield, new jersey. you can see trees still in the the water. of course from the flooding we had earlier in the week i love this one walter sent in puffy clouds with the blue skies in the background. nice to see sunshine and blue skies after days and days of glummy weather. more sun on the way for weekend. lets look at what is going on we will start with the recap of february so far. end february on monday. so far it has been above average. temperatures 2.3 degrees above average. we have had 3.3 inches of snow. does not look like we will add to that total. the quiet february, at least in philadelphia as it goes. high temperature 65 degreesment that will hold monday, may come close in a few spots. keep an eye. low temperature, we will remember that at 8 degrees on valentines morning. storm scan three, again, showing really a whole lot of nothing. we have lake effect snow showers off to the west. great lakes will see that tonight and tomorrow but then the lake effect machine will start to die down as the wind
