"eyewitness news" reporter walt hunter joining us live now at city hall with more on the mayor's plans, walt? >> the speech just ended, council chambers gradually emptying out behind me by and large positive reception to the mayor's half hour budget speech here within the last hour video delivering the speech, interrupted by applause, once by standing ovation, the four boulevard budget, as you just said, is driven by a soda tax, designed to raise $95 million, high point of the budget include pre k education, community schools, also body cameras for

cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> wait and see what happens, walt, thank you. >> now, police need your help tracking down the suspect they say broke into two day cares in north philadelphia. shows man right there getting inside around the clock day care on west take err road, around 11:00 last thursday, he got in by removing the air conditioner. police say he ran sacked the business, but did not take anything police believe the same man forced open window at little explorers day care north fifth street last friday. i got away with cash then. if you recognize the suspect in this video, you are asked to call police. >> also, police are searching for the suspect they say smashed through a window, stealing clothes from a rittenhouse store. check out the surveillance video showing the suspect, two men, and one woman, they broke into the vince clothing store at 17th and walnut. they grabbed arm fulls of clothes, then took off in a blue four door vehicle happened last saturday, if you

have any information you are asked to call police. >> investigators trying to figure out what happened to cause a fiery crash that killed five people in lehigh county. eyewitness cam of the smoke and the flames. police say, all five of the victims were in one car, that crossed over route 222 and collided head-on with a tractor-trailer happened upper macungie township. the road closed for hours, it re-opened overnight. the names of the victims have not been released, and the tractor-trailer driver was not injured. >> eagles quarterback, sam bradford, meets the media for the first time since signing his new contract. the two year deal is worth more than $30 million. $22 million is guaranteed. bradford could talk about new coach doug peterson's offensive plan. peterson says, bradford could lead the eagles to post-season appearance, our pat gallen will be there, he will have full report for you on "eyewitness news" at 5:00. >> a chaotic scene as group of

expect to go see much snow, it comes in at the wrong time, we have to be dealing with this right through the morning rush, so let me walk you through everything, also, talking about good news down the road here, in fact we start things off with beautiful shots in the live neighborhood network, very much, just in wind at all really, guys. barely have light wind at all. 30 degrees at kutztown area middle school, handful of clouds, real at this, and finding the same thing from the suburbs all the way out near the shore towns here. nothing more than few little clouds out here, and very modest breeze, 32 degrees, cold everywhere to support the snow that's eventually on the way. here is a system that is bringing it in, looks awfully robust down across tennessee, portions of the deep south right? here is the thing, where it gets weaker off to the north, that is what is going to be costing through our area, a lot of times these storms tend to, you know, curve as they make their track across the us. this one basically going straight up west to east. that means, we stay on the little thin line of some lighter snow. and that eventually gets here, overnight tonight.

even as early as 10:00 i can see some of the first flakes flying, through future snow ability, when it starts it pick up it will be picking up for at least little while. the thing is, that primarily falls on unpaved surfaces initially. we know all of the crews will be out and about getting the roads ready to goment even by the time you hit off the if i combination of the typical morning rush, you probably only have few tent after inch on the gown. so, not necessarily a major system. but, i always feel lick it is these systems, that at most, bring maybe coating to inch or two. that's what we are expecting out of this, especially on unpaved surfaces, these little ones tend to bring the biggest headaches when it comes to the morning rush. again, winter weather advisory posted for the southern half of our area, but everyone gets in on some light snow, starting tonight, through midday tomorrow for grassy unpaved surface accumulation of coating to 2 inches absolute max. this, again, not going to be a major issue. but i feel like these are the situations where you get little too confident sometimes as you're traveling. so please, slow down out there. this is probably good excuse

to maybe set the alarm little extra early as you wake up tomorrow. we will be here for you obviously getting you out the door. certainly one of the mornings you might want the extra time, so you can go slowly. looking ahead to the weekend, call it hiccup. little disturbance crossing on through, see sunshine saturday, may bring the disturbance bring a sprinkle headed toward sunday morning, back to sunshine courtesy of high pressure. wait until you see this. let me step out of the way so you get a good look. yes, probably be double taking on wednesday, look at this, 70 degrees, by the time we hit wednesday. soap, we're coming off obviously what we call a hiccup again, tomorrow, with that snow. and then, talk about a trade-off. we look ahead to next week. temperatures go on this huge surge, mid 60s, even 70 out thereby wednesday. >> at this point looks like we'll get some sunshine with it, too, so perfect day. call in sick maybe? thanks, katie. move over, whole new trend at the bakery. jamie introduces us to the
