"eyewitness news" reporter walt hunter broke this story in february and is live tonight at chester county d.a.'s office in west chester with the disturbing charges, walt. >> yes, nicole very disturbing. district attorney says of all of the charges now faced by three conestoga seniors they are not charged with hazing. the reason hazing under pennsylvania law, only applies to actions at colleges, not high schools. there is a law, proposal in the works to change that in the meantime d.a. talk about the homophobic hazing rituals at conestoga and about the violence of the alleged

attacks. >> away from the football field inside the locker room at conestoga high school the district attorney says football team conducted a hazing ritual on the same day every week, for at least the past four years. giving it homophobic name, no gay thursday. >> you would have an older kid come behind a younger kid and put his genitals on top of the young are kid's hid head. >> reporter: coaches and teachers, in where to be seen in the locker room. >> the locker room was there to do what they wanted, when they wanted and how they wanted. >> reporter: but during hazing on in gay thursday, october 15th of last year, the d.a. says, the bullying, blossomed into criminal violence, and a 14 year-old team member allegedly stripped, held down screaming, as he was assaulted with a broom handle. >> that order was, this exact quote: shove a broom up his bleep. kid reported that the victim

was yelling and screaming. but he did not have a friend in that locker room on that have afternoon. >> reporter: where hogan asks were the coaches. >> if we had coaches in the locker room, i guarantee you in of this would have happened, and the first time in gay thursday came up, it would have been put down. >> reporter: district officials e mailed the statement reading in part head football coach has been suspended from all coaching responsibilities pending the outcome of the school investigation. together we remain steadfast in our commitment to a positive climate in all will school programs. meanwhile, the d.a. says that his investigation is still moving forward and he asked anyone with any information on alleged hazing, to contact his office. >> this is just bullying. it is in chester county and we will not stand for bullying. >> reporter: the district attorney adds that while the

when we are not on television we will have have continuing coverage the at cbs philly.com. well, police now have a suspect in the deadly beating of the cook in south philadelphia a police are searching for this man, they say he goes by the name of noel, and was in the kitchen working before police say he slashed the neck and beat 64 year-old thoung thoung nguyen. it happened at lee's cafe and bistro on fifth and washington. if you have any information, you are urged to contact the police. now a developing story, there are concerned about the savetive of drinking water near two former naval bases. investigation is underway at naval air station joint reserve base willow grove and naval air warfare center in warminster. fire fighting foams used at base might be the source of cancer causing chemicals. they were found in about 100 wells near property there. congressman pat meehan, mike fitzpatrick and brendan doyle want to know how navy handled discovery of those chemicals. horsham air guard station

skies deck to explain. how is it looking and shaping up. >> it will be a whole lot better then it was this morning as we just saw the shore got hit with heavy band of storms starting to intensify off the coast. major storm but it is a general miss for us, shore got hit in the city, certainly not enough to make snow men. the lets recap our snow amounts first and foremost. down the shore high is six and a half inches in cape may. atlantic city set a daily record of snowfall four-point 36789 lindenwald 2.7. wilmington 2.7. new daily record there. in philadelphia just shy of an inch, .9 inches fell with this system and that is pretty much gone from the city right now. you can see where the storm is, impacting coastal massachusetts, cape cod, nantucket, places like that but as we zoom out we will show you next hiccup this weekend. i circled tonight red moving through wisconsin at the moment, just a weak clip their could come through late tomorrow night the in to sunday morning and bring chance for stray rain or snow shower. it is cold enough for a few

west, temperatures, surged, starting on monday. tomorrow, we will start the day with sun, and then cloud roll in the afternoon. here's that hiccup, a few light rain and snow showers developing, early sunday morning, it starts to clear out and then we will be pretty much over it as we head into sunday afternoon. again this morning was a mess out there, down the shore especially what to expect tomorrow night, little to no accumulation and road will only be wet as a few sprinkles come through sunday morning. then we will go from chill toy balmy. look at those lines lift on wednesday and thursday is even warmer for some but a front will drape itself across the region on thursday bringing the threat for showers, looks like rain, friday, warm next weekend but it does look wet for now, so tuesday, wednesday, are your two ab normally warm days to enjoy. tomorrow's chilly again at 45, and still chilly sunday, cloud think weekend but monday, tuesday, wednesday, it is holy grail of the forecast, right there enjoy it before it turns wet again by end of next week. >> we are jumping into may.
