"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joining us now at septa's frankford transportation centerment hope shy is okay, justin, good morning. >> good morning, that bus now here at the frankford depo where hine me it is now a crime scene, and several cameras aboard, may turn up strong visual evidence, that may lead police to the woman who was abducted and the man they say who took her. >> septa bus cameras caught it all and now the video is up for review. >> she made some comment on the bus that he is crazy. >> and said not much more police note before a man smashed this bus window from

outside near this septa bus about 2:00 a.m. in northeast philly. near roosevelt boulevard, and langdon, police say, man stopped his silver pontiac grand am, or grant pre, got out, then made this mark screaming for the woman, fearing him aboard. >> it appears, though, from witnesses, and the bus driver, that this female, who was on the bus, and the male, did know each other. >> the bus made second stop on the 4200 block of the boulevard. cut off in the roadway by that pontiac. the woman walk off the bus before violent meeting at the door the male grabbed her, punch her several times in her head and her face, and then forced her into the back seat of the car he was driving. >> police say that pontiac was last seen traveling south, in the outer lanes of roosevelt boulevard, but, it is proving to be a hard car to catch. >> the vehicle has delaware

temporary tags, paper tags. so when we run the tag, it came back no record. >> and as a result, this morning, there is now a widespread search police tell me for that car. and of course the two people inside, that woman, is described as black female in her 20's, about five-seven, long dark hair. and also, wearing dark clothing. the man police say beat and abducted her, is described as black male about five-ten to 6 feet tall. about 160-pound, clean cut, with a slender build if you see them you are asked to call police. we are live in front of the frankford depo, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". justin, thank you. we have new video just in from trenton where at least four people have been rushed to the hospital with gunshot wound. police are searching for the gunman or gunman. the two men and two women were hit along by gunfire along oliver avenue in trenton just before 2:30 this morning. there is no word right now on the the extent of their injuries, we'll keep you

>> you don't have to go to infinity and beyond to check out a cool new picsar exhibit. you just have to go to the franklin institute. that's where you find "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo with a very special preview, before the exhibit opens. so cool. what do you have there, jan? >> reporter: well, erika, we are just hanging out with a couple of our favorite picsar characters this morning. this is walley. you might remember him. and this is just one area of this new exhibit called the science behind picsar. this is the camera area. something my photographer knows a little bit about. so we can go from wide-angle view, to close upright here. we can even change the focus from, say, a rubic's cube to our face. how cool is that? it is just one of 40 different inter-active elements, we have here, this new exhibit start tomorrow, and runs through september 5th. erika, back into you. >> can't wait to see the rest that far, jan, great preview there. all right, well, spectacular show at ar jen tape yan park.

up the glacier, and collapse into lake argentina. the glacier covers about 100 square miles. experts say the collapse happen every few years, and the last one was in 2012. power of mother nature right there. we want to check in with katie and our record temperatures had to come to an end? >> they did indeed. man did he can we get great records in here while we had the chance, right? yesterday the official hyatt philadelphia international airport spiked to 82 degrees. unbelievable. previous record, 2006, 76. no trouble just shattering that completely. it was such a warm afternoon. really felt like summertime. didn't it? has come to an end at some point. but dow promise you this. the next seven days, stay above average. not bad. even despite couple of disturbances tracking through, few highlight we have to point out on the area map. frontal boundery, pretty wimpy one at that, currently crossing through with very light showers, more clouds than anything. also, a lot of moisture if you have been hearing the national reports, also having them here

on "eyewitness news" this morning, so far. we've also this this incredible rainfall, down across louisianna, portions of mississippi. this actually lifts north with time. does bring us some wet weather, but i'm not worried about anything like what they've seen across the deep south. just isn't going to have that casino of moisture content to work with by the time it reaches us. so, here's how it sort of pairs down for the next couple e of days. any clouds, wet weather we're left, with clears out by sunday shine by 3:00, 4:00, all into the sunshine, late near tomorrow, beautiful day on tap. little cooler, but still above average. expecting more sun than anything. then comes some showers. combination of them at least, should be pretty spot any nature generally speaking sunday. but the thick cloud deck will limit the warmth that we expect for the next couple of days by monday specially, 59 degrees, at best for the daytime high. looks like the wettest day really of the next seven. but don't forget, it is time to spring forward folks. yep the sun will be setting after 7:00 sunday evening. not bad. meisha over to you.

violently snatched her off a septa bus overnight. want to get the latest information right now from justin finch out at septa frankford transportation centerment justin, good morning. >> reporter: erika, good morning, that bus is now here at the frankford bus depo where septa and city police have been searching through it for clues, and also, reviewing video from cameras, aboard. police say there are several cameras on that bus, that critical angle including the front door. and may capture good image of the woman, just before her abduction. this all began about 2:00 a.m., along the 4600 block of roosevelt boulevard, when a septa driver noticed a silver pontiac following very close. then, near the boulevard and langdon, the pontiac stopped and a man got out and began screaming. he even made his way to the side of the bus, and broke the window near where that victim sat. now within cents say the woman screamed that man is crazy, but there are no report she ever gave a name. the bus driver pulled off and was met again by that man

about five blocks south when he used his pontiac to cut off the bus. the pontiac driver then approached the bus again, and this time the woman also got off. police describe what happened next. >> reporter: the mail grabbed the female off of the bus, funds. her several times, in her head and her face, and then forced her into the back seat of the car he was driving. >> reporter: and looking now, live at that spot where the man allegedly hit that window, this is where it all began. police say the car they are looking for is a early 2,000 model silver pontiac grand prix, model pontiac, also has temporary delaware plates. they've been trying all morning to run those plate without success. as for the woman, she is five-seven, in her 20's, black female with long dark hair, also wearing dark clothing. the man on a black male here in his 20's, about five-ten, slender build, clean cut,

about 106 pounds, police say, if you see them, or this vehicle, to please give them a call, erika, for her safety obviously. back over to you. >> hope she is okay, justin, thank you. comedian tracy morgan performs in delaware tonight for the first time since he was nearly killed. morgan was returning home from a show in dover back in 2014, when a truck crashed into his limo bus on the new jersey turnpike. morgan was in a coma for two weeks, one of his friends died in that crash. this is morgan's first tour since then. we checked in tonight's show with the playhouse on rodney square in wilmington is sold out. >> well, we know the characters of course, but now you can check out the incredible science behind some of picsar's biggest films. a brand new exhibit opens this week at the franklin institute but you don't have to wait, jan carabeo has your sneak peak right now with some of our favorite characters. good morning. >> good morning, science behind picsar, eight different

sections, and 40 inter-active element, you really get feel what it takes to put one of these movies on the big screen, this is the lighting area. >> here to show us what we can see when we come in here starting tomorrow. real a lot of great things for kit of all ages, even their parent? jan, absolutely, one of the most exciting exhibitions we've had here at the franklin institute ever, 14,000 square feet of the science behind picsar. every kid, every adult, can relate to picsar. they have characters they love. but the best part about this compared to any other of these kind of exhibits is this one not only glues you in with great eye candy, wonderful selfies with the best characters we love, but all about the science behind that, a lot of mathematics, a lot of physics, cool computer science. that will can get kids motivated. >> absolutely, really hand on, too, what do we see right here? this is the lighting? >> real interesting, when you film regular film with department, they capture what's there. in animation after dot wonderful character drawing

and do the storybook and then you king ties it, you still have issue about light. like the room is not going to be lit, the sunlight will not come in there. this shows you how the scientists and engineer figure out how to do the lighting. >> virtual lighting. >> see how you start to light it. that's the lamp. then the brightness, if you look at the position here, i don't foe if you can see this, when the sun goes across the room, mood lighting changes, recreating the day. that's why picsar is so good, because it really feels authentic, feels like life-like. >> feels like real life, the ankle else, how much, i mean, incredible amount of math and science and engineering behind these movies. >> you know the classic question, why do i have to learn this in school? >> this is why, what you learn in grade school, high school, college how they make these wonderful things come alive. >> before we go back to the studio, what's one of your
