republicans say violence is hurting the country, dom dom chan john joining us now in miami, florida with the latest on the campaign, good morning. >> good morning, the republican candidates are fight for the 99 winner take all delegates at staple here in florida. many of them spent the weekend hole g rallies across the state, and as you mention, ohio is proving to be big battle ground for democrats in the race. >> took questions from range every issues during town hall sunday night, but violence at recent trump rallies took center stage and both candidates took aim at the republican front runner. >> he has lit the fire and then he throws his hands up, he claims he shouldn't be held responsible, and he should be held responsible. >> i would hope that mr. trump tones it down, big time, and tells his supporters that violence is not acceptable. holds narrow lead over clinton

campuses this weekend for all of the excitement. st. joseph university still riding high after this weekend's win. they nab the eighth seed in the west, and will play the ninth seed cincinnati, their match up is in spokane, washington. now, yesterday, st. joe's beat bcu for the atlantic ten title, hawk's second tight until three years. meantime villanova seemingly lost it number one seed this weekend, when the wildcats fell to seton hall in the biggies final. the wildcats are now a number two seed in the south, they'll play 15th seeded unc in brooklyn, and finally, a big sigh of relief at temple campus on northbound street, the owls fell to the uconn huskies in the aac conference semies, but still got into. ncaa as tenth seed in the place, will play seventh in brooklyn f they win, they do face nova in the round of 32, but right now, the temple players are just looking forward to their first game specially after last year's

a big crack-down as philadelphia police target illegal dirt bikes and atv's. police seize 53 vehicles and arrested at least one person yesterday. police say that people die from accidents involving the atv's and dirt bikes every year. and it is a big problem, especially there is time of the year when the weather gets warmer. >> individuals run up and down on the sidewalks, people are

afraid to let their children play in areas that the dirt bikes are riding, they rip up recreation areas. they rip up the parks that they're in. >> they have no regard for the safety of anyone. >> dirt bikes and atv's are illegal to ride in the sit unless they're on private property with the owner areas permission, so if you see somebody riding around on one of those atv, dirt bikes, you are asked to call police right away. >> slick roads are being blamed for a series of crashes in north carolina involving more than 100 cars. little rain last night making driving just a mess on interstate 40 outside of raleigh. about 20 people were hurt in multiple wrecks, but everyone is expected to be okay. in addition to the wet roads, police say, rubber necking drivers may have caused several of those crashes, and katie we have wet commute this morning, hopefully people taking it slow. >> hoping people will at least just either have set their alarm little extra early to get out the door or expect you might be little late here today because the rain will always naturally slow you

down, that's just the way it is. our eyewitness weather watchers temperatures generally mid four's, pretty decent consistency, anywhere from the pine land areas out to the urban areas out to the inland suburbs, i mean, generally speaking just very consistent weather across the board here today. 46 degrees comes into us this morning from ed, finding some light rain falling here in chesterfield. another one, take you down the pike little more, so 46 degrees temperature coming in from phil. he, too, finding the light rain. we go out to yet another one in the mid 40's, and there one goes out to chester county where fran is also finding light rain. so again, a lot of consistency finding on the area map at this hour. and, that sure shows it, right? you have pretty soggy conditions across the delaware valley at this point. heaviest rain pockets at the moment, falling across portions of delaware, and then up through eastern bucks county and portions of mercer county. really where you find the worse of the conditions in terms every rain that's currently falling. however, our temperatures, don't move all that much today. also going to notice a breeze

kicks in through the course of the day too. damp week coming up here, guys, even though this system will be pushing away heaviest steadiest rain comes right now basically through the morning, you will have light rain any time today, tonight, even a lingering shower tomorrow. temperatures will start spiking back to the 60s tomorrow. we do have 70 degrees day in the outlook here, can't rule out sprinkle wednesday, but generally looks like pretty nice day, then for saint patrick's day another system coming along here with some showers around, so it is not the prettiest saint patrick's day but this is march and anything can happen. thank the lucky stars very festive graphic is generally just looking for some showers here. check out the leprochan. not the cutest thing you've ever seen in your life? 59 degrees under clouds. with showers around, i could just keep this up all day. but let's move on to the seven day, see what's coming up down the road, upcoming weaken, expect at least at this point that things will start to quiet down for both friday, saturday, maybe shot for additional rain as we officially usher in the spring season sunday.

but there is a lot of evan flow in the forecast the next few days. >> feels like we've sort of been spoiled. fifty-one pretty much normal for this time of year, right? well, let's look at the roadways, 59 southbound at the girard point bridge. see the flashing light right here, an accident, that is blocking the right lane. so once the traffic starts to get little heavier it will take you little bit of extra time, as you move through this area, again, 95 southbound at the girard point bridge, right there, let's take a look at the boulevard, headlights are moving toward the schuylkill expressway, it is a bit of slow go. it is going to continue to be a slow go, as the morning progresses, and we take a look at the blue route. headlights are going northbound, at route one, this is going to start to get jammed here in the next few minute, as it normally does on the blue route. we take a look at the maps, as well. an accident, northeast extension southbound past quakertown, bunch of debris in the roadway, it has caused several individual accidents, so far this morning, so take

your time, coming through this area, as well. and patco, they are on a special schedule. erika, over to you. >> pat, thank you so much. after springing your clocks forward this past weekend, you might not be feeling that spring in your step starting the work week t feels so much earlier, right? so what are the best foods when you need the energy boost? rob dan off brought some smacks in, brought me cheese steak, two cheese steaks, always appreciate that, thank you, with the foods to jump start your day. starts off i want to emphasize this, is it a myth or real -- >> we have all our clone, clocks for sleeping and waking for hunger for energy for our heart rate for our blood pressure. so absolutely, so what we did, just lost an hour. so now -- >> we felt it. >> yes. so like we have jet lag essentially what happens. so what happens is so specially as we get older, we may have trouble sleeping. it will take three, four days to adjust, but they have some studies when you lose an hour of sleep sometime it affect

your judgement, there may be more accident initially. so we have to make that sleep up little bit gradually over the next week or so. >> well, if you are already up right now can't get more sleep get little bit of boost from energy, from some. some certain foods, you brought some example. silk down to breakfast, what should we eat? >> start off with oatmeal. that's great fiber, longer to digest, keeps our fires burning, add little milk to that or greek yogurt and we have protein. >> this will last us throughout the whole morning, won't fluctuate our energy levels, and we'll be alert just like you. >> coffee, we'll talk about that late. eggs, hard boil a few on a sunday, great snack. >> great. and the protein so easily digest recall for all of us, it is great protein, lots of vitamins, minerals, will keep us alert and health. >> i okay, and fruit, some people think there is so much sugar in fruit, when should we turn to fruit? >> i want water dense fruit. sometimes we're tired because we're thirsty, dehydrated. apples are over 60% water, they have a lot of fiber, and

walter melon lykopene and anti-objection dent, and also lots every fluid in there, will keep us alert. go wow, i feel good, hydrated. >> we all want to feel that way. you brought some great shaved almonds, great if you're having a lump during the day, need energy and finer? >> you're so right. grab a handful. if you are not allergic, great protein, fiber, have good energy level. >> last but not least, do we have some beans here? >> beans, you know the darker the bean the more iron, and iron helps energize us, so get red or brown bean, oh, i'm eating eye or not you get it naturally. good fine nerve protein, will take a while, add it to salad, on your way to good health. >> very good. i just got my coffee may not be the best thing to turn to energy. danger from too much after jolt? >> those information drinks or pills i'm very concerned about. it raises a person's heart rate. when you combine caffeine with tore even it boosts cents it up. so you have to be very careful.

i've seen people take it, work out, their blood pressure, heart rate goes real high. here is the danger. if you rely on caffeine for energy you will need it. if you don't have it you're going have the energy lowe's, so better to have energy naturally, cut back on the caffeine, eat healthier foods. >> one person of the daylight saving time, more sunshine at the end of the day. >> for those who get up early at 6:00 we're used to to the light now. when you get light it energizes us, now dark, so little lack of energy in the morning. for those to get up later yes, they'll have more energy because they have light tend of the day. so catch 22. i think they should just leave it one way and we'll all adjust. >> real quickly, any tips for parent, if your kids are crank think morning, not getting out of bed. what do you think? >> put on more light. go to bed 15 to 30 minutes early each night for the next week it, will help them re acclimate to this time change and they'll be better. >> doctor rob, thanks so much,
