victim a 25 year-old man is a at aria torresdale at last check in critical condition and recovering at this time from a gunshot wound to the head and a suspect, a teenager is now in custody and in the meantime the investigation, continues. lets take you to video from overnight, philadelphia police say that calls of a car crash came into them around 9:30 last night on the 4700 block of meridian street in holmesberg. fifteenth district police and fire fighters arrived to find a mercury sedan having struck one pontiac sedan and a chevy sedan. now this is on meridian between torresdale avenue and edmond street. the police say that 25 year-old driver was behind the wheel when he was shot, responders here on the scene realized he had been shot on the left side of his head, police say suspect's fired at least one shot, that traveled through a rear window, with that bullet landing on the front dashboard. the victim was pulled from that car and taken to aria torresdale and back at the scene police were able to

track down a key at witness. >> i witness witnessed the shooting and saw shooter run into the rear of a property, within block away, in the 4700 block of lansing street. the witness notified police, of what he saw, and police apprehended a 17 year-old male. witness, positively identified the 17 year-old male as the shooter so that 17 year-old was taken into custody and transported to the 15th district headquarters. >> reporter: at this time police do not have a motive, northeast detectives is investigating and due to soon search that home where that teen suspect was held up. erika, back over to you. >> justin finch, thanks for the update. friend, plan to honor drexel university graduate and killed in the plane crash almost a year ago. emily and her mother ivan were among 150 people on board germanwings flight 9225.

pennsylvania governor tom wolf is offering more details on his cancer battle. the 67 year-old said he will have radioactive seeds implanted in his prostate to combat the illness. the last month the governor shared his diagnosis with what he says is a treatable form of cancer. it was detect during a routine checkup. wolf has previously said the illness and treatment will not impair his a bills as governor. meantime governor is applauding the pennsylvania house's vote to legalize medical marijuana the proposal was pass by a comfortable margin yesterday and allows patient toss take the drug in pill, oil or liquid form. they will not be able to obtain marijuana they could

we're starting off on a very similar note to what we saw yesterday, some fog on this st. patrick's day morning, that will break, much like yesterday, it turns mild and we will track a shower or thunderstorm out there but i do want to talk about what is down the pike here. by sunday we're officially entering in the spring season and we might be looking at snow. out over the northern mountains across idaho, montana, do you see those little speckles of snow starting to show up? it looks innocent, doesn't it. the once it drops out it will gather strength, moisture and we may end up with snow here. we will talk about that in the seven day. i have st. pat path's statistics here, warmest st. patrick's day we ever reported hit 86 in 1945 and just a couple years ago, we ended up with nearly 5 inches of snow on st. patrick's day on 2014.
