>> good morning, everyone, i hear snow, but at least today we have ncaa march madness. we have november a we have temple. we have st. joe's, that's good thing. >> absolutely, super pumped for all three of the teams definitely cheering on home squad here, right, guys? what we eventually end up with, yes, the ironic spring time snow. and irony i cannily as enough the coldest day of the first day of spring as we have in the next seven. but that's still couple of days away. what we have right now is very, very tranquil beginning to the day. and then we look at storm scan3 at this very localized zoom to start things off, nothing to see here folks. i mean, little breezy where i am on the skydeck right now. that breeze is likely to pick one time here today. our temperatures are going to take a hit. however, it is tranquil, as all can be here. so you won't be contend withing fog like we had the last two mornings. you do have chill in the air, i highly suggest a jacket walking out the door in the 30's that makes sense, right, in millville, allentown, mildest spot of the pack is wildwood, but we're pretty close to that, too, at 51 degrees here at

stay with "eyewitness news" for continuing coverage of march madness, our leslie van arsdale is in brooklyn, with villanova and temple. she will have live reports on both teams later on today. 506 right now. the man who was stabbed in the city's frankford section and then hit by an s.u.v., as he tried to get away in his attacker. police say about a 8:30 this morning, that victim in his 20's was stabbed several times in the chest on oxford avenue. then while trying to get away he was struck by an s.u.v. on folk rod street. that suv then fled the scene. the man died at the hospital. the vehicle that left the scene, we did get a pennsylvania license plate number. so we do know where that vehicle's registered. so detective right now are tracking down that vehicle in order to talk to the operator of the vehicle. we don't believe the driver of that vehicle was involved in anyway of the stabbing. >> police are still searching for the suspect in that stabbing. he was last seen wearing a tan

jacket with a fur collar around the hood. >> a police-involved shooting in north philadelphia is also under investigation. police say the officers were chasing a shooting suspect near 15th and allegheny. when that suspect pointed a gun at the officers. an officer then opened fire injuring the suspect. police say that suspect was wanted on several warrants. no officers were injured. septa police release video of arrest in connection with a shooting at a church's chick never north philadelphia. the arresting officers were wearing body cameras. "eyewitness news" reporter natasha brown has the video and details on that arrest. the body camera images vividly clear capturing the moment a shooting suspect is captured on a septa bus. >> we got a tip that the shooter was on a route 23 that was on germantown avenue. >> had been saturated the area

looking for 07 year old ronald also known as roland gram. he was known to take this bus route and he had been on the loose since allegedly fleeing a shooting at a church's chicken on broad street march 6. you can see the septa police officer forged the bus quickly evacuated rider, and taking the man sleeping at the time into cuss today. >> i when an officer makes a decision, attempting a murder suspect, may very well be armed and very well to shoot it out, that officer is quickly and quietly telling people to get off. >> 289 septa police officers have been equipped with body cameras since january, another glimpse at their latest crime fighting tool. >> this will show, put the police in a great light, and it will shine the light on the police that aren't acting properly. >> the 70 year old suspect in this case is now facing a number of charges, including attempted murder. at septa headquarters, natasha brown, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". still ahead this morning, a high school pep rally takes

like it will be with you all day. you have really warm ground, how much, so it will take some time, for this to actually have chance to stick and also accumulate. but even as we continue through the course of the afternoon here, looks like it keeps on snowing and keeps ongoing. so there likely be some accumulation, and it lingers into late sunday night possibly lingering monday morning. this is our one european model that shows how much the snow is expected out of that particular model. generally, one to one and a half inches, right? not too terrible. however, i could see it up to maybe 3 inches, depending on location, more fine tuning as the week progresses. i know it is pretty first day of spring, but snowflakes on this graphic for you on sunday march 20, 12:30 when the vernally quick on will take place, even though 12 hours and change worth of daylight, you won't see heck after lot of it because of the spring time snowfall. and then eventually, hey, another sweet warming trends by next mid week. pat, over to you. >> i would be remiss if i did not pay home and to meisha who i filled in for all week with

a tgif. >> tgif, hey. >> i got one in. this is a look at 95 northbound, at 413. construction is off to the left shoulder. so, you have nothing to worry about on the roadways, that's been pushed off to the side. also, the blue route, the head lights are going southbound, this is toward the schuylkill expressway. everything moving smoothly so far this morning. but as you know as the rush hour progresses, the traffic is going to get heavier. this is a look at 422, at the pennsylvania turnpike, you can see, the headlight there, tail light actually going eastbound, but so far so good. also, the boulevard, southbound, at the schuylkill expressway, coming this way toward the schuylkill, things are looking good right now on the schuylkill. but as you know, as it get toward of this thing will fire up. also, couple of maps to look at, the boulevard, an accident just cleared. southbound before rising sun avenue, outer lanes have reopened. so that's a good thing, the two outer lanes have been closed. also, mass transit, couple of things to look out for, media elwin line on special schedule
