up-state new york, few wind driven lake enhanced showers of rain and snow. you might see an isolated, i always like to call it, renegade shower pop up north of the city today. generally talking dry day, with some sun, and breeze, picking up. upper 50's, now, let's talk sunday, guys. at this point your best chance for accumulating snow is further north and west. basically, the northwest half of our area. generally because we think there will be some mixing that takes place, as you head further south and east, and the further inland you go, just going to get bypassed by the storm system. so at least for our region, we are going to be in the cross hairs of a developing coastal storm, for now, quiet. you have got the breeze to contends with, little cooler by comparison to recent days, up ear's at best, maybe some of you hit 606 degrees, but it is going to be a dry day. that said, we look forward in the forecast, yes, we will be talking about some snow, looking ahead to sunday, especially. so, saturday, starts off with sun, eventually the clouds start to build in, and then we are going to be in the midst of developing coastal storm system, obviously far more on

by suv on faulk rod street. the suv then fled the scene and the man died at the hospital. >> the vehicle that left the scene, we did get a pennsylvania license plate number. so we do know where that vehicle's registered. so, detective, right now, are tracking down that vehicle in order to talk to the operator of the vehicle. we don't believe the driver that far vehicle was involved in anyway of the stabbing. >> police are still searching for the suspect in that stabbing. he was last seen wearing a tan jacket with a fur collar around the hood. >> police say they have no choice but to open fire when they shot a suspect several times in north philadelphia. sources tell us, that suspect was involved in a foot chase with officers last night. when he pointed a gun at them near 15th and allegheny. officers shot the suspect in the legs and torso. he is expected to survive. the man was wanted in connection with a shooting. >> well, you may have noticed septa police wearing body cameras recently.

one of those cameras captured the arrest after man wanted for a shooting inside a north philadelphia restaurant. "eyewitness news" reporter natasha brown shows us how that arrest went down. >> the body camera images are have i ily clear capturing the moment a shooting suspect is captured on a septa bus. >> we got a tip that the shooter was on a route 23 that was on germantown avenue. >> transit police officers had been saturating the area looking for 70 year old ronald, also known as roland gram. he was known to take this bus route, and he had been on the loose since allegedly fleeing a shooting at a church's chicken on broad street march 6th. you can see, the septa police officer forged the bus quickly evacuate g riders and calmly taking the wanted man who was sleeping at the time into custody. >> he's prime an attempt murder suspect who very well may be armed and very well be

backed off. maybe sign of better things to come. >> roads not looking bad at all. >> not at all. i don't know you need me. >> we always need you. >> thank you guys so much. really, no traffic to speak of so far this morning, take a look at 95 southbound,. >> one of the few trouble spots if you want to call it that so far this morning. construction been pushed off to the left shoulder. and traffic is getting by just fine in this area, also, 95, southbound, at cottman avenue. this is one of the trouble areas, where it starts to pick up around 6:15 in the morning, you can see the brake lights as they're headed toward cottman avenue. toward the downtown philadelphia area. so far, though, not that bad. it is a little bit later than it normally is when this traffic starts to pick up in this area. the boulevard at the schuylkill expressway, starting to get a little bit more volume in this area, as well. still, not that bad, also, the schuylkill expressway at girard avenue, things are moving pretty pretty good right here. so erika, not that bad.

eric trump's apartment in manhattan after his wife opened an envelope t contained white powder and had a letter threatening threat the candidate's children if trump didn't end his presidential campaign. no one was hurt. hillary clinton has officially won a very close democratic presidential primary in missouri. clinton led with less than half a percentage point after the votes were counted. that gave bernie sanders the option to request a recount, but he conceded. however, the race between republicans, donald trump and ted cruz, that one still close to call. also, conservative activists and lawmakers met in washington, in a attempt to stop trump and find an alternative gop candidate. the political show-down over the new supreme court justice or nominee continues on capitol hill. today judge merrick garland is expected to resume making courtesies calls to senator a day after meeting with key democratic leaders. but, as don champion reports, senate republicans plan to continue blocking the nomination. senate minority leader harry reid, emerged from his

house in camden. >> giving me a comfy bed, and they're all good to come here to like volunteer, cook food. >> adopted from china at age three, giddian is being treated for arthur gryposis. >> i can't walk so the strength in my legs so i can walk. >> he was born with a condition and some doctors said he would never walk. but his parent found a specialist at shriner's hospital who said he could. since 2011 he and his mom have traveled to camden from kentucky several times a year for surgeries and treatment. almost every time they've stayed at the ronald mcdonald house in camden. >> it just makes it so much easier, because you don't have to worry about where your meals will come from, you don't have to worry about this huge expense after hotel room. >> that means giddian and his family can focus on healing and working toward the ultimate goal, walking. >> i get a cast on for i think

areas anyone interested particularly in the areas of special education, and some of the languages and some of the sciences. >> okay? >> but the big point looking for all teachers interested in teaching in philadelphia, we still think that philadelphia's attractive place for teachers entering the profession, and we want toast individuals to work in the school district. >> absolutely now, beyond teachers also looking for nurses and counselors, fantastic to bring them back. why are these nurses and counselors so important for student in. >> essential for student, and we have schools unfortunately over the past several years have seen less individuals than those, because of the budget challenges, we've been unable to return many of those individuals that have been reduced over the years, due to layoffs. so, next school year, we want to ensure that in every school building there is a full time nurse, and full time counselor. naturally, this depend on a

budget being approved in harrisburg, we still have to get this year done, and then we need to focus on next year, in order to put a nurse and counselor in every school building. >> say someone is watching, either a teacher or have teacher maybe graduating from college soon watch should you do if you want to apply if. >> those individuals should go on the website, it is recruitment at phila.org or attend a session that is on tuesday district headquarters march 22, come by that session to hear all about the application process. >> well, hard to believe we are talking first day of spring, i know the end of the school year is around the corner watch programs this last year really have been success for you? >> quite a few, matter of fact, real excited about the early literacy work that's been happening all of the young people who have access to quality early literacy training, and all of the programs around, science, technology, internet, math, many of the third graders now doing coding.
