two car accident send six people to the hospital, and it happened on blackwood clementon road in lindenwald yesterday afternoon. the road was blocked as authority investigated. two people were air lifted and four were taken in ambulances. nearly 20 pets are seized from a northeast philadelphia home after a authorities say they were living in filthy the conditions. we averaged 2.9 for month of march. i don't know what is going on here but we have a warming trend coming at us later this week. forty's today, 40's tomorrow. we will be back to average tuesday mid 50's where we should be, we might be at or above it. seventy on wednesday and in the lower 07's on thursday. the nice stretch of mild weather, coming at us, feeling more like may by middle of the week. the freezing in allentown, 34 in reading where we have some clear skies allowing temperatures to drop off. there is cold air to the north and east and up are midwest, 18 in michigan analpena, 30 in chicago. so that cold air sticks around for another 24 hours. high temperatures running ten to 15 degrees colder then average as we head into the spring season. quiet on storm scan three but we have a developing storm system in the carolinas tracking off the coast close enough to bring moisture in here toward south jersey, delaware later today and tonight and enough cold air should change rain to snow tonight. here's how things shape up.

found out where they would be completing their residency. i happened to be at drexel university's college of medicine experiencing that russia long side the future doctors. there is nothing like match day. >> it is crazy. you wait the for four years and everything just comes down to this would be school on a paper. >> reporter: the cheers, and there were lots of tears. they are ones of joy at drexel university college of medicine. after years of studying, and exams, these graduating medical students are learning where they will complete the next phase of their career. their residency. >> i'm going to new york presbyterian, so i wanted to stay close to home. the it is an amazing program. i'm's so happy right the now. >> i'm going to staton island to practice emergency medicine. >> today cross medical community is known as match day. >> they apply, they go on interviews and then it is all done by computers. they put their preferences in

good morning, i'm rahel solomon. today is officially the first day of spring, but it does in the feel like it the outside. lets head outside to meteorologist justin drabick on the sky deck and justin, i know you never get cold but for most people you need to bundle up, at least a coat. >> for this time of the year it is still chilly. we are talking about temperatures in the 30's. if you don't like the cold wait a few days. we will have highs in the 70's. the it is your day off. something you're looking forward to. we are freezing up now in the lehigh valley and allentown. 38 degrees in philadelphia a we have cloudy skies but eventually we will see some rain developing later this afternoon. the eventually turning over to snow, tonight. we have just nuisance accumulations here across the region just enough to remind us that hey it is early spring we can still get snow. we have had snow up to early may, one year in 1947 we had a trace. go figure. there you go, quiet, storm scan three, cloudy, rain showers well to the south.
