so although the winds is going to be picking one time, this is going to be clearing sky, and it looks pretty. back to the mid 50's tomorrow. un some sunshine still courtesy of high pressure, warmfront, no wet weather with it, but it does help our wind flow to turn more southerly as the high pressure retreating out to sea, so partly sunny looking ahead to wednesday, upper 60s, getting into the low 70s, then, thursday, that's where we will peak, because then another cold front wait in the wings that's going to bring us our next round of showers, looks like late in the day thursday, maybe into thursday night, and then it is clearing out friday. so, you get the ups, the downs, by the time we hit easter weekend still above average looks like upper 50's saturday, and i would say for easter sunday right now i will leave chance for a shower, call it just partly sunny, couple of clouds, 62 degrees though for easter sunday afternoon, meisha, that's still above average for our area. >> and those are the key words, still above average. thanks so much, katie. good morning, everyone, happy monday, things have been very busy in the traffic department. we can expect that most mondays we know it is one of
6:48 am
the heavier travel days. today has been no joke. and i think it is because we do have slick roadways this morning, trying to get it cleared up as much as we can out there with the warming temperatures, still slick out there, give yourself couple of extra minute, look how busy this; where we had an accident clear 95 north at cottman, the two rate lanes blocked, then it went down to just one right lane, now just being congested, wow, moving northbound, southbound, give yourself couple of extra minute, overturned vehicle here, route 113 northbound, before lime vin stale road near the pa turnpike we are getting report lanes are block, and it could affect actually both sides of traffic. so make note that far in and around this area, and also, this is where we had the accident clear, route 13, st. george's bridge, all northbound southbound lanes are now reopened after we had an accident on both sides. make note of that. that since cleared. great news for those of you in and around the area. also construction here, the schuylkill eastbound off ramp to the boulevard. one lane is blocked between nine a.m. and 3:00 p.m. erika, back over to you.
6:49 am

actually kind of shutdown, everything just slows down their process, so doesn't need to come up for air for month. all of the oxygen he needs he can absorb through membranes of the mouth and the rearend there. once things start to be thawing and warm up they come up, start seeing them. they also mate in about march to june, or then again in the fall. they mate in the fell, wait until the following spring to lay theiring. >> interesting. only 302nd left. do we have another further until. >> yes, certain special friends out here, as well, an owl. >> an owl that we have, yes. this is our box turtle make it break for it. >> they'll freeze in the winner and be thawing out in the spring like everyone else, usually stay in football size range they live in their whole life. >> incredible. last but not least, saved the cutest for last? >> this is owed end, he's screach owl.
6:53 am
and this is an owl that you typically start to hear in the spring doing the calls for mating. and a lot of times when you hear owls, you think who, who, this is more like a screach sounds. >> don't be scared. >> and the way they'll mate is the males will keep calling out screaching to the females, they are pivoting, whole little dance ritual. and if the female is impressed by the screeches she will start moving closer until they finds one another. >> and but the full coloring. i love it. before we go, we want to talk about special event, special program, special anniversary, too, flight. >> yes. our founders day today. >> congratulates. >> founded today in 1812. so pay as you wish admission. >> come out, check us out, we have lots to see, live animal shows where you can see more friends that live at the academy of natural sciences, and you can enjoy some of the fine exhibits that we have. >> karen, thank you so much. >> oh, thank you for having us. >> mike, thanks for coming in. thanks to the animal friends. >> just terrific. >> he likes you. >> oh, i like him, too. we'll be right back.
