yesterday. investigators say that two brothers were among those carried out suicide attacks at the airport, a manhunt is now underway for another man who placed a bomb at the airport before leaving the scene. at least a dozen americans are among the wounded and several others, are missing. security is on the mind of passengers returning to philadelphia international airport from europe today. many were grateful to be home following that tragedy and we spoke to passengers who were greeted by k-9 dogs and heavily armed officers. the passengers and airport employees understand the show of force is necessary. >> what a security zone. it is not just what happened yesterday but they are always vigilant, always around checking baggage and doing what they are supposed to do. >> number one is about safety, and the world we live in, this is the stuff we have to actually go through. >> authorities say there is no confirmed terror threat against the airport. is there much more to come otter or in brussels tonight on the "cbs evening news", scott pelley will have very

latest beginning at 6:30 right after we sign off. philadelphia police are investigating how a toddler got her hand on the packet of crack cocaine. three-year old's girl was at a day care in west philadelphia yesterday when staffers noticed something wrong. the toddler was chewing on something, and upon closer inspection, the owner knew that they needed to get to the hospital fast. >> immediately i informed a parent and i told her to meet me at children's hospital and i grabbed the toddler's feet and i took her to children's hospital. >> reporter: little girl was kept overnight with traces of the drug in her system. she's expected to be okay. police say they don't believe the drugs came from the daze care. meanwhile two friend are behind bars for allegedly trying to smuggle pills into bordentown high school. police say that the 21 year-old brian perry, junior showed up to school last thursday, claiming to bring lunch for 18 year-old student ika salon.

they decided to check the meal. they allegedly found a doughnut with six xanax pills stuffed inside. >> i thought it was, semi creative, you know, to try that. i'm glad school officials caught it. >> both men face drug charges. and a former berks county bus driver is facing serious charges tonight accused of abusing students riding on his bus in the ollie school district. arthur thick turned himself in tuesday. detectives say a 16 year-old victim told them thick inappropriately touched her on more than one occasion on the bus. during their investigation another victim came forward saying abuse started in kindergarten and continued until fifth grade. fick was arrested and faces charges in both incidents. philadelphia police are investigating a double homicide in frankford. chopper three over the scene on pratt street, police say two men bolt 30 years old were shot multiple times, inside of a home there. both were pronounced dead at the hospital. police recovered weapons but

so far no arrests. three suspects are under arrest for a shooting behind archbishop ryan high school. eighteen year-old charles i r oland was arrested yesterday. jonathan row has and 19 year-old joshua a sanchez were arrested sunday. police responded to the scene saturday and found a 17 year-old who had been shot in the wooded area. police say a fight started between victim and suspects and that victim was shot in the leg. police need your help identifying this woman. authorities say that she stole $800 worth of electronic tooth brushes from a cvs pharmacy on monday. she was last seen driving away with a gray vehicle which has damage on the rear bumper. a gruesome discovery, philadelphia police are working to identify human bones found in tioga. investigators say bike patrol officers discovered bones, underneath a blue tarp in the lot this all happened on the 3300 block of north 17th street last night.

police also found a woman's sneaker and clothing near bones. neighbors are disturbed by the discovery. >> very heart breaking, to see, remains, of a human being there. >> yes. >> very heart breaking. >> you know, i'm just fortunate to identify the person to get all of the remains out there. >> so far the medical examiner has not yet placed a time frame on the time of death. meanwhile police in brick township ocean county are investigating a disturbing find. on tuesday this skull was discovered in the wooden section of the lake riveria area. police are now focus using on the area on old toms river road and air zone drive. anyone with any information is asked to contact the brick township police. the nine month pennsylvania budget battle is over. the governor wolf says he will neither sign the 6 billion-dollar spending bill nor veto it. meaning it will take effect completing a 30 billion-dollar spending package for the year.

well, some young patients at cooper university hospital received some special gifts today. >> the camden county police department delivered 60 blankets to the pediatric june it this afternoon. "eyewitness news" in camden. it was made possible by operation guardian as a gang intervention program as police department runs with clergy and social services providers. >> these are tough kids. they are grown up, in a tough environment. they have got excited about making blankets and we donate them here to cooper hospital. >> operation guardian is credited with turning around, young lives. the city of philadelphia is celebrating another milestone, today is the 121st birthday of philadelphia's official flag, the nation's first adopted civic flag. >> very colorful celebration
