being shot multiple times in fair hill. police say that the gunman opened fire around 1:30 on the 100 block of east indiana. that suspect remains on the loose. authorities are using both police crime cameras and nearby surveillance video to help with their investigation. a man is fighting for his life after he is shot in east germantown. gunman opened fire with an assault rifle at chew and east locust around 1:00 a.m. that victim was taken to einstein medical center where he is undergoing surgery. police are searching for a blue hyundai that fled the scene. a beating, caught on cameras goes viral and sparking an investigation. south here mainly east of the mississippi river from kentucky, tennessee,al bam, mississippi. even on the current radar we are finding pretty, nice little squall line that is setting up across this zone. this is the same storm that will be affecting us, you can see, look at this, just a couple hours loop worth of radar but very heavy thunderstorms, no severe thunderstorm warnings in place right now but there is a good possibility that will change. here's a wider look at that same system, that snow we had talk about. interesting, so easy to forget places like colorado this is their time of the year to see snow. for us it is during height of winter but for them they see it the in the transitional seasons and atmosphere tend to flow. with that said this is cold front that will cross through, in snow here, but it is going to be a situation where we have rain for sure. lets walk through that. today, warming trending on, warmest day of the pack we will see for next several days because of the satellite push, just to advance that front.

this morning, new developments from authorities, maybe they are looking for another suspect. local media reports surveillance cameras captured a second suspect walking with the man identified as the suicide bomber. now is there also growing evidence of a link between tuesday's assault and the paris attacks last year. cbs news correspondent kenneth craig joins us live from brussels with the details on that, kenneth, good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you, erika, that was a big development that came out of here in the last couple of hours, now authorities, of course, are working to identify both of those unknown men and locate them as they work to unravel ties between what happened here, and paris. as the hunt for the mystery man in the white jacket the continues, belgium prosecutors are learning more about the suspect isis terrorist, connected to tuesday's terror a tax in brussels.

institute, they did this for 26 consecutive years they measure retirement confidence. after plunging to a record low after the financial crisis, 21 y they are now, very confident that is up from 13 percent from just a few years ago. 42 percent are somewhat confident. that is good news. and while 19 percent are not at all confident, i will say that number fell by 5 percent points from just a year ago. a lot of progress being made. >> very good. we're confident now. how are we doing on our savings. >> right, we feel good but really what is happening? well, 69 percent of work are say they or their spouse have saved for retirement. the problem is, a big chunk of those folks have virtually nothing sock away, 26 percent have less than a thousand bucks, mostly because they don't have a retirement plan offered through work. 54 percent they have saved less than 25 you this dollars. 20 percent have 25 to a hundred thousand.

rectal cancer awareness month. according to the cdc colon cancer is name the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the u.s. good news though it is preventable and treatable if diagnosed early. doctor eric cuddle is jim with us five ways to help us reduce those, but doctor, just like many cancers early detection is key. when should you be screen. >> early detection is key. 50,000 people approximately in the u.s. die every year from colon cancer this can be prevented, in the only that and treated. but lets, the gold standard for to testing is colonoscopy. we recommend starting to get it at age of 50. for african americans we recommend colonoscopy at age of 45 but if you have a certain family history of people with colon cancer in your family or certain medical conditions you might need to be screened earlier. let me just say this up front as a family doctor one of the things that concerns me a lot is people are often very reluctant and afraid to get a

colonoscopy. >> it is treatable, preventable. >> i think people are squeamish about the test. the test makes it tough. the colonoscopy is a very short procedure. this safe. you are asleep for it. a lot of my patients say worse parties preparation the day before. so i encourage people to talk about the doctors and get facts about it before you you decide you don't want it because it does save lives. >> absolutely. what are symptoms you should look out for that you should not ignore, call your doctor. >> symptoms you should not ignore abdominal pain that doesn't go away, unexplain weight loss. if you have weight loss and you cannot explain it i as a physician want to know about that. feel weakness, fatigue, continues to last, for days for weeks, doesn't go away, blood in your stool, not just on many occasions, one instance of blood on your stool i want to know. your stool pattern change. you start getting diarrhea, constipation, you never had that before, that is super important, you have to let us
