dean. i'm jim donovan. ukee washington is off tonight. sports director don bell joins us now and don, anticipation is growing. >> this is what you wait for all week long so hopefully they can get it done. villanova wildcats are an hour away from hooking up with miami, four-point favorites but you know, that means very little around this time of the year, we're talking march madness. live look in downtown louisville, kentucky. good thing they play this game indoors. sight of tonight's game. they expect a crowd of 22,000. later in sports we will hear from leslie van arsdal who is on the road with the cats. but for those who could not make a trip they are cheering on the team right here in our region. alex hoff joining us live from bryn mawr with more, will alex? >> reporter: university is off today, so, they will make it down to louisville to cheer on the wildcats. they are able to do so to places like this at kelly's taproom in lancaster avenue in

bryn mawr where villanova fans gathered to cheer on their teams to face off against miami in about an hour. now, number two seed wildcats will face off with the three seed hurricanes, and winners will take on maryland, kansas, and that will be their ticket to the final four. but the wildcats have had a long history of early ncaa tournament success and that has long stalled out before making it to the sweet 16. this is a i big moment for villanova and fans here of high hopes. >> they made it past in the last round so this game is our ticket to do well. >> it is actually really a awesome to be a senior right now, sweet 16, 2016, it is the year. but i think we're all excited. >> we have to keep our cool and not get too overwhelmed with anything and i think we will be good. >> again, that game will be beginning in about an hour, we will have all that coming up tonight. reporting live, from bryn mawr

>> thanks, jim, yeah. temperatures have cooled off, thanks to a sea breeze, kind of significantly cooler then when i was out here at the top of the 5:00 o'clock show and temperatures are suffering in our reporting sites, but others breaking record high temperatures today, but still pretty nice despite that cool down over the last several hours. we have 69 degrees, in philadelphia, topped out at 74 in dover. but high temperature in trenton is 57 degrees, today. quite the temperature gradient, still in place across the delaware valley. it is 47 right now in trenton. still in the mid 70's in dover. the that is because of the sea breeze. ocean temperature still very cold. 48 degrees. where we have that east wind it is driving that cooler ocean air, on shore, so no problems right now, in parts of the delaware with that south wind but in philadelphia we have east northeast wind staying safe in trenton. cooling off an hour temperatures over last several hours. for this evening still very pleasant, rain stays out until late tonight but we will contend with rain and chance for then are storms throughout

the day tomorrow. we will talk about the timing for. that dry weather for easter holiday and we will talk about what kind of temperatures as rain returns to the forecast next monday, i'll have all of the news in the full forecast in a few. >> west deptford police have identified man seen beating a teenager in a viral video making its way around the internet. we have also located the teen. separate interviews are scheduled for each of them. police say they have verified that the teen is safe and will not have any contact with his, alleged attackers. now investigators are trying to track down whoever shot the disturbing video. west deptford police are also serving for three bank robbery suspects caught on surveillance video. trio two men and one woman robbed bb and t bank at gunpoint just after 11:00 a.m. yesterday. two suspects forced employees to get involved, into the vault, to get cash. the other hurdled the counter unsuccessfully trying to open up teller drawers. suspect fled in the car. in one was injury.

tonight investigation in the brussels terror attacks is revealing a host of intelligence failures, and that may have cost lives. right now manhunt is underway for two suspects, the man on the left was last seen at brussels airport on tuesday with two suicide bombers. man on the right was spotted at brussels metro station alongside another suicide bomber. they may be link to a plot earlier this year to target a belgium nuclear power plant. today belgium lowered its terror threat level a notch, but more attacks are possible. we will track all developments in search for suspects in brussels. we will bring you updates on tv and anytime at cbs philly.com. now that a nine month-old pennsylvania budget stalemate is resolved, school districts a cross the commonwealth are finally learning how much they will receive in state funding, this year. this morning has been tied up for months now, all said and done will school district of philadelphia will receive about 50 million-dollar more than then it did last year. >> we are pleased, and welcome relief. >> reporter: state budge net place after months of uncertainty, philadelphia schools are expect to receive more than 700 million that was tied up during budget impasse. that amounts to 55 percent of the district's budget for the year. >> we were always able to get through most of the year, that is because we borrowed a lot of money. now, this is what the rest of these money will do allow to us repay though short term burroughs. >> reporter: district borrowed 575 million-dollar to get buy, they will have to pay back five to 8 million in interest. this news comes as a report out of the rutgers, school of education, named philly as continuingly to be one of the distressed urban school districts in the country. school superintendent doctor william hite credited teachers, principals and staff for their handling of the crisis.

we are in the upper 60's, low to mid 70's. but we have that east wind driving that cool atlantic air on shore. temperatures are really suffering. we have cooled down dramatically after our high temperature near 70 degrees in philadelphia today. over last couple hours temperatures have been plumetting but we will start to moderate especially after sunset. overnight tonight, 58 degrees, breezy, showers, developing late tonight and then for the day tomorrow, we will need rain slicker for first half of the day with showers and a few thunderstorms moving through, gradual clearing in the second half of the day. breezy, still very mild at 68 degrees for the high temperature. storm scan three pretty quiet conditions, couple high clouds passing through but keeping an eye on the very potent weather system bringing snow showers to chicago. milk precipitation as well and showers and strong thunderstorms in the warm sector of this area of low pressure that will move eastbound and impact us late tonight and through first half of the day tomorrow. we will see a few frontal showers but see main part of

the shower activity moving through in this time frame. few embedded thunderstorms. not too impressed with a quarter to half inch. we could see locally higher amounts if we do get thunderstorm activity. the mess of the activity will clear out by 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon setting us up for a nice dry friday evening. future weather will confirm that for us as we head in the evening, in problems but then late tonight showers do start to develop and then much more organized activity, as a cold front makes an approach tomorrow morning. so showers and heavy downpours moving in the lehigh valley. for the commute. i think philadelphia and surrounding counties, if you head out early, that is probably better seeing these downpours moving through nine or ten or 11:00 and then continuing to movies bound down the shore, midday early afternoon but then clearing on the back side as we head into tomorrow have afternoon, want to head out for dinner tomorrow night, no problems, don't need to bring that umbrella with you and you won't need umbrella a on easter and neither will that easter bunny. 64 degrees. sunshine and cloud mixed.
