condition is extremely critical. meantime investigators are on two scenes in west philadelphia, one on simpson where shots were fired. a second on 60th and vine where that teen was found. also too they are trying to figure out if this teen was the target or if he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. >> based on ballistics evidence we know at least eight shots were fired from semiautomatic weapons. we found eight spent shell casings on the highway in the 200 block of north simpson street. >> reporter: teen's condition described as extremely critical. that single shot to his back, one of the many fired. 9:25 tuesday night, came report of the shots fired in west philadelphia, 19th district police were dispatched. >> upon police arrival they found a 14 year-old victim laying on the highway suffering from a single will gunshot wound to his back. police transported him to presbyterian hospital. >> reporter: early into the investigation detectives have a list of questions, in need

itinerary. >> you want to first and foremost look at your hotel stay. some national parks have limited hotel a veil built on site so you want to book that first and take advantage of the any discounts that might apply there at the hotel. you definitely want to have your car road trip ready. so many of these national parks have over 400 throughout the country are within driving distance and lower gas prices are making that more affordable option for families good absolutely. if you are at home thinking i will camper i don't do that there is so much more to parks than camping and hiking. >> if you want to water raft, mule rides, and then, so much learning, so much historical knowledge that is there. again, so much right here in our own backyard that we take for granted. >> this is year to do it. >> absolutely. >> thanks, erika. >> we will be right back.
