and that is an indication that a storm is approaching. do you see these clouds, building high in the a atmosphere. they look innocuous at first. they look like plane white puffy cumulus clouds but once they tower and see this on the horizon that is a good indication that storms are approaching and that is exactly what we see here at kutztown area middle school. storms are heading that way. you can see we have a lot going on this front coming through secondary boundary still up in the great lakes, that crosses the a area throughout the day tomorrow, and then tomorrow night and that is when it will bring high wind watch. strongest storms we have right now we have one moving through northampton county, crossing into new jersey, but it is eastern lancaster county getting hit the hardest at the moment. heavy rain biggest threat with this also some hail, thinks moving again from ephrata, providence, down into southern lancaster county and very, very soon that will push into chester county, west caln, pottstown, my hometown phoenixville wet get hammered. heavy rain, gusty wind

kate, you have some not so much fun things to talk about. i know you just got whatever this is here but it is breaking news. >> breaking weather news severe thunderstorm warning has been now issued for portions of mercer county, hunt are done county in new jersey but also northwestern bucks county and northwestern montgomery county, and this goes until 6:15 tonight. we have got severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter sized hail and damaging wind in excess of 60 miles an hour. that is moving through pottstown and will continue on the north and east trajectory through the neck half an hour to 45 minutes or so. so until 6:15 tonight a severe thunderstorm warning. i will show thaw storm in one moment. lets show you what is happening outside. we will go up to bethlehem where things are looking a little ominous, we have had a few bonus hours that is what i'm calling them, we started with rain, drizzle, strong thunderstorms in portions of the south jersey and delaware. then everything broke open. we have lots of sunshine. i personally could not enjoy it. on a day like today when you get sun and humidity not only

do we love it, thunderstorms love that weather as well and that is when you get atmosphere to destabilize and these thunderstorms love to pop up in these conditions. so far we have had couple severe warnings. we have one right now for portions of bucks and montgomery counties and portions of mercer county in new jersey. lets check with our weather watchers as always monitoring the situation, keeping an eye out there weather windows and looking at temperatures in the upper 70's. we will check with phil in chestnut hill at 78 degrees. we have talk earlier about the towering cumulus clouds, kind of hurling the arrival so to speak of these storms. phil had that in chestnut hill seeing those cloud bubbling up in the background. that is a very clear indication that storms are on the way. we will check with 81 degrees, at ed connor's house in chesterfield, new jersey, very warm. wilmington at 78. these storms have a lot of heat and a lot of moisture to work with as they continue to push in from the west. so lets look at is what happening outside. i showed you earlier.

kutztown camera we saw cumulus clouds in the background. blue skies in the foreground. you can see storms are moving through very ominous on this camera. cloudy, dark cumulonimbus clouds and rain shadows in the background as heavy rain prepares to move through kutztown area storm scan three shows where these storms are at the moment. very complicated pattern. we have one front coming through here. that front will stall off the coast this area of moisture will be drawn northward into tomorrow morning. we will start tomorrow morning with rain. then we have this system to watch. that will drag an arctic cold front through our area tomorrow night into sunday morning. in the near term we have storms blowing up to the west, we will zoom in on strong ones here. there it is, you see that cell over portions of upper montgomery county this line extend down into western chester county. i expect this to be in ukee land by 5:50, tredyffrin township 6:07, norristown 6:13 a and upper darby by 6:41 tonight. temperatures very warm a lot of moisture, a lot of warmth

for these storms to work with as they move through, again northwestern, montgomery and bucks counties, that goes until 6:15 your severe thunderstorm warning. the lets time this out. as we head through six or 7:00 s south jersey a and then exit coast. once that second round of moisture getting pulled in for your saturday morning that clears out saturday afternoon and we may get some sunshine back around four or 5:00 o'clock but here comes arctic cold front. this is sunday morning at 2:00 w shower. expect winds to gust 50 to 60 miles an hour with down branches, wires and threat for power outages. sunday morning when you you wake up, it will feel like 25 degrees. freeze watch has been issued for chester and montgomery counties for overnight hours saturday night into sunday morning. tonight, mild with showers redeveloping once we get thunderstorms out of here. start your saturday with rain, sunday is cold at 45 degrees. back to near 60 monday with showers and another cold blast on tuesday, finally back to the 60's by next thursday.
