sanders are in town. good evening everyone i'm ukee washington. i'm jessica dean. we have team three coverage for you, as the candidates stump in philadelphia lets start with david spunt in south philadelphia where bernie sanders is set to speak at any moment now, david. >> senator sand are will be here any minute at temple united methodist church behind me. this is a popular church for political candidates to meet with members of the black, religious community. he is scheduled to speak her at 6:00. he will have a discussion on stage talking about different issues including the economy. last night was a huge night for him in wisconsin, when he won. he has 1025 delegates of the 2383 needed delegates, and big news today from the sanders campaign is that they plan to go to the convention, in philadelphia just a few miles from here at the end of july. i spoke to the sanders state director ryan hughes. >> we feel a lot of momentum here and like the senator himself a has said we are

villanova wildcats, only thing they need to prepare for now is a parade. national champions will go down market street on friday, parade starts at 20th street and heads over to dilworth park at city hall. parade will cost about $22,000. villanova will foot most have the bill to cover, police, and clean up. the city will throw in about $6,500 to pay for barricades and a sound system and mayor kenney says that is in problem. >> we will weigh recover that and amount of the people coming here spending money. amount of the national profile that the city will get as a result. >> reporter: septa is increasing services on the norristown market frankford and broad street lines which is how many people plan to travel. if you you have working downtown the celebration i understand should wrap up around 3:00 p.m. if you cannot make it down to the city friday you can see that parade of champions live right here on cbs-3 on our web site as well, cbs philly.com. the parade is something to look forward to but these guys are once again student

as we continue tonight, rooting for change. today the city of philadelphia announced public forum to discuss ways to make roosevelt boulevard safer. there has been 3,000 crashes on the 14-mile highway over the past five years, including at least 20 pedestrian deaths. mayor jim kenney says city officials, septa and penndot will host five forums this month and the first is set for next thursday night, at the four points sheraton along the boulevard. >> pedestrians need to be protect and we have a responsibility as a city to

wilmington 29 and 30 at the airport. your average last freeze date though, actually we're right on target. we usually hit that last freeze somewhere in mid-april here in philadelphia, not even mid-april yet. even though this seems out of the ordinary it may be just partially because we were so used to that warm march. we thought spring started. now that is our average last freeze and we're still in that time frame early april for shore, late april for lehigh valley and early may for northern poconos. storm scan three shows generally clear skies but clouds are starting to build in we can see our next weather maker that system off to the west, moving through by tomorrow morning and head through during the afternoon and then clear out tomorrow evening. bringing warmer temperatures just briefly with it and then temperatures will drop again in the weekend. fifty-two right now. not too bad. fifty-one in reading. forty-nine wilmington. forty-eight in millville. lets time this out 10:00 o'clock tonight the just a few clouds. tomorrow morning you you can see by 8:00 a.m. a few
