for the weekend, but with that said, yeah, it is april. now i'm the broken record. the that is what i have been saying all week. we have a storm system coming through bringing witt wet weather to our area. that send us on another nose dive for the weekend. here it is, nice broad zoom on storm scan to get you out the door i would say if you have plans to be out and about through midday umbrella a is a great idea this system hasn't gotten here yet but leading edge you can see beginnings of the wet weather, up a cross central will pennsylvania, and this whole thing needs to cross through before we can clear out obviously. we do sit in the lowest of the low potential for thunderstorms here today. i wouldn't even call it a severe threat. you might have a run of the mill thunderstorm popping up but anytime you have thunder you have lightening. if you hear thunder head inside as soon as you you can there might be localized downpours and gusty wind. we have a wind advisory that takes effect across central southern new jersey, entire state of delaware we will have more details later in the

show. i did want to get you through timing on this. let put future weather in to motion here. again we might see a scattered shower before this but would i say tail even of your typical morning rush when the bulk of the heavier rain will cross through. moves from west to east. further east, later it gets here but right around lunchtime as we are's on the air with "eyewitness news" at noon today we will have stuff to track for sure. it looks like as kid get out of school across eastern and central new jersey there might be showers. but even for your evening rush there may be wet weather to track on the radar. then the it clears out overnight and we are going to see sunshine. so perfect news for the villanova parade, little will breezy in the wake of this cold front and obviously cooler, by week even though check this out, i know you like rain, and or snow showers pushing through the a area on saturday. >> yeah. >> good for you. >> thank you for not yelling at me. >> no, never. thanks, katie. well, thanks but no thanks,
4:47 am
right. but good morning. happy thursday. this is where we are looking at construction still out there, yes, indeed 95 north at girard between girard anal gain that i right lane is still compromised. not causing too many slow downs moving in the north bound side but make note of this because it certainly will in the five and 6:00 o'clock hour for hure if that doesn't get cleared out. hopefully it does. looking in the southbound side we have early risers but we can expect that at the this time on i-95. construction has been cleared at broad street, between spring garden and jfk boulevard. we are good there. looking good in center city. and down pole from an earlier accident at route 29 north, was closed for a while will but now only the shoulder is getting by at sullivan way. again this is an accident, and down pole from earlier. use an alternate if you want to avoid it all together. clear field avenue and riverside drive is your best bet and a new schedule for all septa a regional rail lines starting sunday, path the co new schedule starts saturday. jim, over to you. thanks, meisha. 4:47.

this is a day we have been looking at when is the next round of rain getting here? it is on the way as we speak. you can see activity over my shoulder on storm scan. lets show you full screen to show you what is up. at this point nothing falling to the ground in the form of precipitation yet in our local area but you obviously have something waiting in the wings. thinks all migrating east and with time eventually some expecteling of the green to pop on our radar. it is just a a matter of time. if you are out midday that is when you want umbrellas at the ready because that is the likelihood of the most widespread coverage of the rain and heaviest rain will come through. we have wind picking up folks at the shore 21 miles an hour sustained breeze despite that temperature of 54. note that is wind. it will feel a tad cooler but
4:55 am
today wind advisory in effect later this morning for gusts to peak to 45 miles an hour sending your trash can flying, blow the hat off your head and bring down a couple branches or wires. we might the see a couple power outages, maybe if you reside in one of those typical neighborhoods that tends to see that happen anytime storms rolled through so expect. that thankfully no major severe weather threat but that could see rumble of thunder at some point today, meisha and we will cool down behind this front tomorrow. >> yeah, certainly seeing that over the weekend, katie, yikes. well, mother nature, thank you so much, it is a thursday morning still early, we're looking at i-95 north at girard where we have construction still out there cones letting you know marker to move on other: this is i-95 north between girard and allegheny, make note the in the southbound side, it is plenty of early risers out there already. we will move the maps here. we have an overturn vehicle with the down pole and wires, at the boulevard westbound at turner avenue make note for
