center city, where bernie sanders spoke this morning. alex? >> reporter: that's right, good afternoon, well, democratic power houses have been in and out of this room, all week, governor wolf seeking, or speaking yesterday, hillary clinton then earlier this morning, bernie sanders. now, sanders, he didn't just get here this morning, he has been here since yesterday. he was able to actually pull a large crowd in north philadelphia last night, by his count, he had about 14,000 people out for that. but with less than three weeks to go, before the pennsylvania primary, this room, this room we're in right now, the afl-cio convention will be crucial for both candidate, both clinton and sanders hoping to appeal to union delegates, labor, union member, so again, endorsement will be a powerful one. >> my view after trade union

can just barely make out the center city skyline. the tell tail raindrops also on the camera lens here, telling us, that obviously, the wet weather is here, and it will be here generally through the midday. a win advisory, also posted, not in southeastern pennsylvania, but central southern new jersey, all of delaware, until 6:00 tonight. and that's for gust that is could peak as high as 45 miles per hour. now the winds aren't horrible down near the shore right now, but they are certainly pretty noticeable, and they're so in philadelphia, as well, 60 degrees right now, so we are warming up in advance of the full passage of this front, of course, trade off is it is just, yes, nasty afternoon, un folding out there. so have the wet weather gear ready to go if burr ready to leave the house here now, but later on today, those showers do start to become more scat nerd nature, and eventually, we're talking about snowflakes, i will explain in the full seven day forecast, coming up, jim. >> we don't want to hear that. pennsylvania governor tom wolf visited abington to promote

you can pick it right out on radar, where we turn our focus next, here's the three hour loop of the storms pushing through, at this point, no lightning reported, it is all just win driven rain really, guys. so you know, that's what you will be coming up against here, very, very strong winds driven rain, if you are trying to travel through this, and right here, this is the guy we're tracking for the potential of severity with heavy downpours and the wind. zeroing in on tax looks like it is about ready to come down on kennett square, downingtown, for example. we will get some of the precipitation rates out of this, we zero in on some of the darker shades, and there are indications from doppler that you're seeing almost two and three quarters inches per hour. obviously it won't be raining for full hour, but that's pounding rain that's going to just drench you and certainly lead to blinding travel for you. so, try to slow it down out there, don't even leave the house if you can spare the time until this get out of here, you can really see nice center of circulation back here, over the great lakes region, residual moisture

eventually sweeps through, bring some residual scattered showers, but what we're seeing right now, that is the leading edge of the front. so looking at the temperatures, still awfully mild here, still sitting at 16 -- 60, trenton, 62 dover, may even get another degrees or two before it is said and down, however, off to the south really just carving out through the midwest, really see where the front has already cleared through. you're down in the 40's in columbus, for example, you know, basically nearly 20 degrees difference from us to columbus, where the colder air is coming in, now that said, wind advisory posted, all of delaware, gusts up to 45 miles per hour, i won't be shock if we hear of power outage or two, if any wires do come down from the branches that may do the same. but that said, we're in the brunt of it now, so it is a matter of time, folks, even the next couple of hours, things calming down, granted still breezy, heaviest rain going, and done with it, lingering showers granted but should be scattered through the early evening rush, then

clearing out completely by the time we hit friday. that bodes very well, obviously, for the championship parade we were just talking about. breezy day, cooler day, but hey, at least it is dry. we'll have that on our side. another disturbance comes saturday, yes, a couple of snow showers are very possible, out of that, it will be cold enough to support it, i but i don't think do you have worry about accumulation out of it, thank goodness for. that will still chilly sunday, at least the sun is back, should rebounds to more seasonable territory in time for the phillies home opener, as well. so that is some better news down the road. >> yes. >> exactly, thank you very much, katie. meanwhile, coming up: video sure to put a smile on your face, we're back in two and
