dilworth park with more, don. >> reporter: guys, traffic is flowing freely down market street but as you mention $5 or six hours ago this place was at a complete stand still as we honored 2016 national champs. leslie van arsdal has more. >> even eye this as much as i can. this is special. i will celebration this and enjoy this one. >> reporter: from 20th street to dilworth plaza thousands lined the streets cheering on the national champion villanova wildcats. the players, treated like rock stars, and just taking it all in. >> it is special. it shows how many people, care about villanova basketball, how much they support us, and we love them back. >> this is great. we know, nova a nation is the best nation in the country and toe them out here celebrating us, it is hum blink for all of us. we appreciate it a lot. >> reporter: it was a matchbook season but the parade was unlike anything they have experienced, along with crowd far bigger then what they expect.

>> reporter: it the is a season most wild cat fans won't soon forget. the philadelphia parade, particularly a special day for blue bell neighbor cindy smith. >> it was one of the greatest childhood memories that i have. >> reporter: you see, the he she was at 1985 parade for villanova mens basketball team when they won the ncaa championship. she was in eighth grade. this this time around she's sharing the experience, with her children. nine year-old addie and 11 year-old luke and family friends iain. >> i watched the game, and the next day my mom let me skip school, and come down to villanova a parade. i figured would i honor the tradition. >> reporter: honor the tradition she did, even letting kid skip school for a day, the kid say they deserve it. they have been waiting to see the team in person, well, ever since chris jenkins shot that three pointer winning the game. >> i was just on my feet, like screaming, it was crazy. >> shot the by jenkins i thought that was really

three. our next storm is heading our way and you can see right now skies are clear but as we zoom back to the west and rain is infiltrating portions of indiana and ohio, and that is our next clipper system, heading in our direction, for saturday. and, temperatures right now, again, chilly but about 10 degrees below average. we are at 50 in philadelphia 46 in lancaster. 50 degrees at the atlantic city airport. clouds are in the tonight. it will not be as cold as recent nights have been but we do expect periods of rain, and snow, saturday, all day long, and the heaviest of the precipitation between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and then it will start to move out. the roads are wet, there could be a few slick spots early as it will be coldest in the morning when this begins. so between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. areas of snow and rain develop. the steady yes, sir is between 9:00 and 3:00 inn then we will see a gradual tapering of the rain, snow and mix from northwest to south and east, in the late afternoon and early evening hours. and coming up when i join you inside ill he show you our updated snow map how much snow you can expect to see where you live, if anything, at all, and i will tell but finally

intensity for long enough period of time it will get accumulations. here's what to expect, tomorrow at 8:00 a.m., philadelphia seeing a mix of rain and snow, more snow off to the west. i just said northwest. it is up toward the lehigh valley, it is difficult to discern where that bull's eye will set up but someplace may see three or even 4 inches of snow mainly on grassy surfaces. 11:00 a.m. we are seeing dividing line rain over south jersey, mixing around city and suburbs. snow to the west. then finally starts to move out by late afternoon, temperatures are marginal, and in the mid to upper 30's throughout the day. just a coat to go an inch philadelphia a nearby suburbs. your bull's eye will be in the north and west suburbs where some spots will see one to 3 inches of wet snow, mainly on grassy surfaces. that storm exits and then a freeze watch goes into effect saturday evening in to sunday morning and as temperatures plumet into the 20's again. overnight mostly cloudy, breezy, 36 degrees, saturday
