sunday morning. >> tragic. >> reporter: 3:43 am police rush to the 500 block of east westmoreland street. a man shot in the arm rushed to the hospital before another 911 phone call comes into police radio. >> they received a call for 6: six 57 east westmoreland person with a gun. they went to that location engaged in a conversation through the door with defendant in this case, they declared a barricaded situation at 4:10 am. >> reporter: that suspect called police himself. negotiators were able to have him surrender peacefully. >> he was taken into customer code by members of the philadelphia police swat unit: they entered the home inside a scene anything but peaceful, three bodies, two men and a female with wounds to the head with what investigators say is a shotgun. >> it's been a long night unfortunately, here its been quite a tragic night. >> i'm shaken. i'm scared this neighborhood is

morning. mt. pocono near freezing, atlantic city near 40s, now the chill is a distance memory getting a live look at center city philadelphia. nice blue skies 73 degrees. nice way to ended weekend. we had the warming trend. temperatures are six degrees warmer from this time yesterday. 10 degrees warmer in mt. pocono that warming trend continues tomorrow. temperatures right now in the low 70s. poconos mid 70s. in the lehigh valley did climb pretty warm today down the shore sea breeze kicked in temperatures are in the upper 50s. storm scan 3 showing us a trends of the last several days a bunch of nothing. high pressure in control are blocking patterns still in control so we have high pressure giving us that clear sky, sunny conditions. and the sunday is so nice. but we're starting to need rain. as far as average rainfall is concerned in philadelphia, since march first were down about two and a half inches of rainfall on
