>> i am on this one, as long as the weather is nice, i'll take it, looks like we can definitely see more of the same today in the way of some pretty nice weather. couple of changes that come along with what we saw yesterday. see, just few more clouds, it is going to be little bit breezier, also, not as warm. mid 70s at best here today, this afternoon, but we've also got very dry weather, and with that breeze, it will elevate the fire risk. let's go ahead, talk about what this system or what we are dealing with with the weather pattern really. again, nothing more than couple every clouds currently on storm scan3, looking at the temperature difference from the same time yesterday, excuse me, we've already seen these temperatures warm up just by hands full of degrees from the same time yesterday. you're 10 degrees warmer even by comparison in trenton, and as that translates to the thermometer, it is still cool enough that i would suggest an extra layer. but it is mild for the standards. mid 50's, even from mount pocono, down through the suburbs here, and in philadelphia, itself a pair of five's, current temperature reading. so the grade is pretty good today, guys, we gave you a.

us a l yesterday, understandably, solid a for the day with mild morning, eventually temperatures into the mid 70s later this afternoon, under partly sunny sky, granted little breezy but still nice spring day. so again while it is not as warm, keep the sunshine, looks like it will linger even for couple of additional days, but eventually rain does have to return to the forecast, and looks like few thunderstorms will do the same. coming up later in the show, i'll tell you when you do need to dust that umbrella off. meisha? >> katie, i guess, if we have beautiful weather like this we can't complain about the rain coming. we will take it, today will be gorgeous, blue route taillights moving in the northbound direction, before the schuylkill, you can see, moving in both the northbound and southbound side. looking good. i would say that overall generally speaking right around 5:30, especially, any time between monday, tuesday, wednesday, even thursday, we know that around 5:30 whether we will start to heat up. seeing that evidence on the schuylkill, headlights moving in the eastbound direction, at the girard, basically what you are looking at, westbound side, no problem. it is the eastbound side of the schuylkill that we're kind of keeping our eye on right now.

"eyewitness news" reporter, justin finch, is live in the cbs-3 sat center breaking down new report. good morning, justin. >> reporter: good morning, brooke, jim. many factors are under investigation this morning, the ntsb presumed some details will change as it continues.

had permission to work on the chester area track, the question now, was there a warning? the ntsb reports the crew was assigned to track repairs including the removal of mud spots. the agency finds crews had clearance to do that work between april 1st and april 4th. the morning of sunday, april 3rd, crews were working on track two, which was supposed to be out of service. the ntsb says alert system was set to be in place for remaining tracks, one, three, four. addition patcher with warns oncoming trains to protect the back hoe and crew, but somehow amtrak train 89 struck the back hoe crew working on track three. despite the engineer pulling the emergency brake, the back hoe operator and supervisor were struck and killed. now, amtrak 89 was not speeding going at 106 miles per hour below the max of 110. the train was bound for savannah from new york with 344 people aboard. forty-one were hospitalized. the ntsb reports amtrak's damages are at least

"eyewitness news" was at a prayer vigil on east mayfield street, in kensington. on saturday afternoon, police say maurice phillips shot tear a phillips in the head while playing with a loaded gun. calling for action against gun violence. >> to let people know if you have guns in your home, please, please, tonight, go and put that gun away. get it away from your children. >> her six siblings were in the room but not hurt. phillips' now facing a murder charge. happening today, atlantic city officials are back in court, ask a judge to freeze atlantic city spending until the city hands over millions of dollars it owes to its school system. the state education department is suing the nearly broke city, the city paid half of $8.4 million payment that was due last friday.

let's go outside. i do want to show you what's happening first, very wide zoom on storm scan, the reason i show you this, because eventually this quiet weather pat learn have to go to the wayside. but what you notice here is at least across up-state new york there is disturbance starting to push south. that's the colds front i mentioned moment ago. you have also got another storm system that continues to brew across the central planes. eventually that is headed our way. how much, for now, things are still nice and quiet w that said, we check in with the eyewitness weather watcher network, we start things offer by going to the map, quick peak, temperatures basically up and down 95 generally in the low 50's, so pretty mild start in these areas. we take you to kim of these spots though. zero in. 48 degrees comes in from fran. he is under nice clear sky, nottingham, out in chester county,ly cooler out in the outlying suburbs, to another one across the delaware river, ed connor, 48 degrees, he, too, seeing nothing more than couple of clouds at the moment, let's take to you one more, we go bit further north, 45, comes in from john

jenkins, clear skies, he washed the car, hours later it was coated again with pollen. very prudent observation because you're still going to have some pretty high pollen levels here today, giles. if you suffer from seasonal allergies, not bad day to get out and enjoy, just be ready with allergy medication n addition to that, we also have elevated fire risk, there will be red flag warning that takes effect at noon today, lasts until 8:00. all the red flag warning means is you have the conditions, dry air, relative humidity, nice and low, breezy conditions, that any casino of fires that spark, could spread easily. so just be really smart about lighting up the fire pit, that kind of thing here this evening. looking forward in the eyewitness weather seven day, little up and down turn here, on the thermometer, we do have that next storm coming along on friday, even as early as thursday overnight maybe couple of showers, but might even be dodging few thunderstorms friday. that looks like the the wettest day, meisha, a certainly the day to dust off the rain gear. >> yes, at least it is a friday, so i'll be happy. because it will be friday, so, but today, it is gorgeous outside, roadways nights and

have special needs, kids without special needs could come and could grow and learn as they play. >> so that kind of is what makes us a little different, new to the community, so we wanted to bring a community center for all families to come together. >> so what obviously, you know, you have all of this jungle gym, you have the balls. where did this all come from? did you think this up? >> i would like to take credit but i can't. no, we started working early intervention. that's when you work with kids zero to five with delays and disability. we wanted to create a place where they could learn in a natural environment, which means that they're playing, they don't even realize they're learning while they play. >> the best way. >> it is. >> so jungle gym here, the balls, all of these different little areas and aspect of this place, how did you come up with, obviously, this big jungle gym, the archery upstairs, so many little cool nuances to this place. >> we wanted to make sure that he we were doing gross motor activities, kinds, if they

have a speech delay, if they have trouble learning how to walk, we could include them all in everything that they're doing. >> okay. >> so we have our ball pits, we have our cool new toy, which is called i play. >> well, i didn't come all this way to not i play. so can we go play? let's go check it out. this is pretty cool. we got a chance to mess around with this little bit earlier. it is actually a projection screen that comes down from the ceiling, you can play these games here on the floor. so, projection screens up here. and these are -- so you just kind of like step on it, right? >> yes. ten different games. rotates every two minutes. so here we have our mice and cheese game. you got to step on the mike to get rid of them. >> that's it? that's all dow? >> yes. >> and you accumulate points as do you it? >> yes. >> of course. oh, man. that's actually harder than would you imagine. this is actually pretty fun, pretty fun. there are other game you can place on here, too?
