game four against the washington capitols at wells fargo center. we are live from university city, i'm greg argos for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thanks very much. lets take a look at the weather now another ter to i can day we are hoping this weather sticks around for a while. we will do a meteorologist kate bilo on the cbs-3 sky deck. >> it is feeling cooler, out here right now then it did this morning. this morning we did have a lot of wind, warmed up very quickly to 78 degrees, and then, weak frontal boundary came through this afternoon. wind are out of the north and that breeze making things feel cool but still pleasant this evening. lets take a quick look at storm scan three and you can see not a whole lot going on. cloud moved through philadelphia and pushed off to the south, that is denoting the location of that frontal boundary but with the wind picking up we are in a fire danger watch. this is a red flag warning in effect for the vast majority of the area, entire area, right until 8:00 o'clock tonight. just a combination of the low humidity, strong gusty wind

to 80 degrees at least before this cool front slid through. you can see cloud deck moving through south jersey and delaware. skies are clear. we have included moving through the midday hours. wind pick up as well. the cooler air started to move from the north, breezes from the north keeping us cool but not cold tonight. our next chance for rain comes with this next system moving from the upper midwest crossing our area during the day on friday, in the meantime still, some rain, thunderstorms in the houston area they have been dealing with deadly flooding and another round of showers and storms popping up, luckily worst is east of the city tonight but still scattered showers and storms to the west of houston, that is area that has seen most rainfall. you can see the past 72 hours, over 15 inches of rain, some spots with over 20 inches and we expect another two, three or 4 inches of rain maybe to the east of the city but that is an area that does not need anymore. temperatures for our area, looking pretty good, 71 degrees in philadelphia. sixty-seven in reading and wilmington. sixty-five in allentown.

sixty-eight in trenton. as we zoom out you can see cooler air pushing from portions of new england, notice how chilly over portions of maine, new hampshire, 62 albany, 61 in scranton. eighty-four in richmond. cooler air pushing in washington d.c. where it is stuck at 76. dry until friday. high pressure in control. tomorrow is a a nice day, cool breeze in the north but still comfortable with highs in the mid to upper 60's. a perfect spring day. partly sunny thursday, sunshine to start, included rolling in the afternoon and ahead of the advancing front will have cloud, showers throughout the day friday. steady rain will be friday afternoon and evening and then that moves out of here, we should clear out for weekend. problem is with the dry conditions, and the wind, we are looking at very high pollen count again tomorrow, and thursday. friday maybe slightly lower, thanks to a little bit of rain moving through but still very high, allergy sufferers, you are definitely suffering this week. overnight mainly clear, cooler, 48 your overnight low, heading into your wednesday,
